Took my car in for radiator problems and got told the ac didn t work. They fixed that and when i got the car back the headlight didn t work and a random piece of the interior was out of place. They said they didn t do it, who knows but it was all fine aside from the radiator before

Very busy place. Kris is practical and a good owner. His technicians are serious in their work. I have interacted for multiple years. They try to help, whenever possible. Jose is great in customer service.

I give zero star Very shady place my car was repaired professionally with other mechanic in Hayward and customer bought the car took this locations KT auto repair for inspections miss it up the wires transmission and headlight wires they took it out told the customer car have problems and auto repair shop miss up the wires took advantage the customer that I sold the car and never will send the car here for inspections or repairs can t trust them

I had a clutch that was worn out, and Kris and his crew did an excellent job, now it runs like a race car and also a new radiator all for a very resonable price. This shop is Top Shelf.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

Professional services; efficient; very honest and reliable! I had an issue with my seat belt buckle, which would have cost me a few hundred dollars anywhere else. I called Chris, who suggested me trying a spray. So with 5 bucks, the problem was gone. I strongly recommend KT auto without any reservation!

Vehicle broke down on freeway. Had vehicle towed there due online research of auto shops. The following day I passed by and Kris told me the diagnosis. Timing chain broke. I asked him for advice.A new motor would cost almost 10k and a used one approx 4-5 if he could find one.I told him the transmission was starting to slip. He recommended to either sell the vehicle or donate. Because it would not be worth it. It would become a cash cow.Integrity is the main thing here. He could of sold a big job but declined. Where can you go to get that!

They changed the clutch in my Mustang GT premium and told it was good to go but soon as I got the car back it now has a misfire come to find out it needed a misfire relearn which they helped me with free of charge great guys and great work my car feels like she did when I first got her 8 years ago when she was brand new thanks again KrisService: Transmission

Me and my husband have been going to Kris for smog since he first opened, and we recommend everyone we know to come here. HIGHLY recommend his shop. He's honest, extremely hardworking, and a very nice person.

I'm from out of town (closer to Tahoe!) and dropped in today because my truck had lost its serpentine belt - no power to the brakes, steering, battery, or fan! - and this place had me back on the road in just over an hour at a really good price (parts were about what I could've bought on Amazon and the shop rate is more than acceptable). Really nice and obviously competent - I'd go here for repairs again if I lived nearby!

My family has been going to KT for many years. One thing I love about his service is that he is always looking out for you in terms of getting you the best price, and he never unnecessarily charges. Sometimes however, he will provide a time estimate as to when the car will be ready, and it's a TERRIBLE underestimate. So you end up calling him 3 or 4 times to see if it's ready and if he's busy it can take some time. However, when he does the job, it's usually done really well :)

They helped me out when my van died from alternator problems. Not only did they get the oem best part but made it happen on Friday on 4th of July weekend. They saved my whole wedding experience and got me back out of state with the family. I can t say enough good things. Try them out!!!

Did oil change, transmission service and tire rotation, and supposedly a multipoint check.Pricy to be honest, similar to dealer;[Update in response to owner reply: To be fair the dealer price I have is from early 2020 and I could believe indeed everything went up quite a bit]Multipoint check has no documentation unlike dealer where they provide a checklist with all check marks and details (eg tire thread, brake pad and rotors). I have to *trust* they did all the checks. I care this a lot as I do frequent weekend long trips with family the last thing I want to have is a car breakdown.What really fell short is that they didn t adjust tire pressure after tire rotation. I have 38 in front and 34 at rear. I got tire pressure alert immediately

Kris is the best. He always gives great advice and helps you save as much as you can. Although I have moved my work office from Fremont to San Jose, I have still come to him. It s worth driving there. In fact, I am going to call him tomorrow and get my rear brakes replaced.

What do I want from a mechanic? HONESTY! Competence is important too. That's what my whole family gets from KT. Doesn't hurt that he's a general car and motorcycle enthusiast. Can get busy, so call ahead.

Unfortunately my boyfriend took his car to this place to run a diagnostic test and to change the axle boots on his car and then an alignment . They charged him $300 to change the boots when he came to pick it up.When he got there they told him there alignment machine was broken so they couldn't do that and that they didn't have time to run the diagnostic test. They had the car for 2 days! Again none of this was made aware to him until he was there picking up the car.Well a week later both boots tore again and he realized that they used zip ties on the boot and not the proper metal piece that is around the rubber part on those boots.I would never recommend this place. Very disappointed in the service they provided

After taking my BMW to 2 other shops and a total of 4 visits (3 to the first one, 1 to the second). KT has properly diagnosed the problem. I am very happy with the services at this shop. Also he told me if the problem persists, bring back the car for a full refund.Obviously he is very confident in his work.

Chris and the crew have always treated my family with professionalism & quality car maintenance. KT auto is my go-to place in Fremont for 5+ years now, and will be the spot I will recommend to friends & family.

Prices were fine and mechanics were friendly. However, when I asked them to check a clanking sound my wife and I had been hearing coming from the suspension, they at first said there was no problem (as if it were in our own heads). When we insisted that they check the suspension, they said the motor mounts were cracked but the car was safe to drive the thousand miles home to Idaho. We just got it back from the mechanic here who said it was the cv joint (a part of our suspension!) that was about to break off which could have led to a terrible accident. Cv joint was replaced and clanking is gone. The mechanics at KC Auto should have found this when we told them the suspension was rattling and they shouldn t have told us the car was age to drive with a cracked cv joint. Super dangerous. Grateful we took it elsewhere.

Kris is honest and does good work. He will also do a quick turnaround on a smog test which is my favorite thing about his shop since I always leave the test to the last minute.

Great place for all auto repair work. Do regular oil changes here. Waiting area is good with comfy sofa seating, TV, Coffee and WiFi..

I went in for a Smog test for my van. They were super helpful and friendly, knew exactly what needs to be done. I was in and out with in 20 minutes.
