My sibling referred me to High St Automotive and I'm not sure if I want to write this review. I like to keep it a secret!I scheduled a 830 am oil change and in my past experiences, the shop always wanted me to come back in a couple of hours even though there's a scheduled appt.Not with this shop! My car was worked on, the time scheduled. I was out of there in less than 30 mins! Terry was great, awesome customer service. While, I was sitting on the couch, he was interacting with other customers and auto supply shops on the phone. He was honest and very thorough, explaining everything in detail. It's great to find a auto shop, customers can trust.First impressions are the pinnacle of new long lasting relationships.

My insurance company recommended this place to me to repair my stolen catalytic converter. I am very impressed with the knowledge of Terry, the owner / operator who is very knowledgeable and very willing to answer my question and explain the issues of my car repair. He was nice and gave me assistance that convinced me this could be my new go-to shop. Give this place a try.

I ve come here for both routine maintenance and when I ve heard weird noises in my car. The team here is so professional and courteous. They always explain to me what happened and fix it for a reasonable cost. I would definitely recommend them!!

Nothing but the best service and prices from High Street! They always let us know exactly what the issue is and how much it will be to get it repaired! We have moved both our vehicles over to their shop.

I am way long overdue for this, Sorry Terry! This place has saved my life literally. My every day driver is an escalade.(kids,life, travel) But I had a problem with this truck that I took to 4 shops to fix(and paid them) ...over and over they kept telling me camshaft sensor and over and over my check engine kept coming back on, after they changed it. I hate any warning light on in my cars. I Found Terry via reviews, told him my problem and told him that I did not want my truck to come home until it was really fixed. He diagnosed it told and showed me 1000 problems no other shop that I paid had told me. Long story short we changed my engine to a new engine...no more problems... except I bother him now for oil changes! He is thorough and knows exactly what he is doing! Quality work, fair pricing, and I do not feel cheated or like I have to go to another shop to get a second opinion.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Oil change

I travel full time with a 2010 Ford F250 pulling a large trailer. When I broke down just outside of Fremont, I decided to call around to see who could get me in the quickest. Terry said he could take a look same day, and after a couple of hours let me know the truck needed a new drive shaft. Got it replaced and was back on the road that evening for a fair price and a warranty included on the repair. Would definitely recommend High Street Automotive for service and timeliness. Thanks guys!

I have been going to High Street automotive for years, they are my go to place for automotive repairs. Terry and his team do quality work, in a timely manner at a reasonable price! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality automotive repair work

Have yet to have my car serviced here (plan to soon). The reason for the 5 stars is from my initial experience with them. The owner and his staff are knowledgeable, professional, come across very trustworthy. I consulted with them about replacing a hybrid battery in and older car and their advice was consistent with my research and they even gave some extra feedback that helped me make the best decision I could. Their repair quote was honest and fair (almost half of what the dealer was quoting). Will use them when the need arises.

I've been trusting Terry to work on both my personal and fleet vehicles for over a decade and you'll never find anyone whom you can trust more than him. Between his experience and integrity, I've never found anyone else in this industry who is better, more fairly priced and most of all, can be trusted with your most precious vehicle.Just to provide some context to this review, I have taken BMW, Mazda, GMC, Ford, Toyota and Nissan vehicles for repair here, and have never had a bad experience. Repairs are done completely and he stands behind his work.

Terry maintained and repaired my BMW 528 i for 12 years, he always gave me good advice and did excellent work. I never had to worry, he buys only the best auto parts for your vehicle, never cheap aftermarket parts. If I still lived in the Bay Area, I would never used any other auto repair shop.

My Honda's battery kept getting drained even though I had just installed a new battery. I asked around and the Honda dealership charged $180 to do an inspection, and other auto repair shops charged anything between $100 to $200 an hour to do a diagnostics! The High Street Automotive does diagnostics for free!! That is great value! They ran diagnostics on my car for an entire day, turned out the new battery was faulty and I swapped it with a new one from the place I bought them. The High Street Automotive didn't charge me a dime!! They were helpful, honest and professional! I just found a permanent auto repair shop for all my car troubles!

Awesome service. High Street's Terry and team solved smog test problems and the engine check alert that mystified other capable technicians. Without them, my Mercedes Benz C230 Kompressor 1999 wouldn't have passed the smog test. They never gave up on my car, exhaustively tested all issues and helped me resolve the issues. Great guys. I strongly recommend them.

I had battery clamp replaced here. Staff is very helpful, honest and price was reasonable. I held back from 5-stars because they forgot to place the plastic cover/protector on positive terminal.

The blower motor in my car stopped working. Finding good reviews, I went to High Street Auto for analysis and fix. I was told some control unit is bad and will cost $831. I asked for part number, I got answer I don't know. But they did not charge me for analysis, I am thankful for that. Went to dealer, costed 160 but was told resistor is bad. bought resistor from Amazon for $15 and problem is fixed.My feedback is low because, either the analysis was wrong or I was deliberately over quoted. either way I cannot recommend the shop.

I m traveling the country in my Tacoma and I always have to go to a repair shop in a new place based off of google reviews. This place was great! They were so thorough, beyond reasonably priced, stayed late 2 hours past closing to make sure I could get back on the road. Couldn t recommend more. And a nice waiting area with WiFi and everything if you needed to hang out there while your car was getting worked on. Nice dudes.

I brought my newly purchased pre owned chevy Camaro to Terry and his crew at High street Automotive. From day one Terry was honest, and clear about what my car needed and what it did not. He does not up sell or nickel and dime you. He simply gives you the information so you can make an informed choice. He taught me more about my car than the dealer did. His staff is friendly, very skilled, and they are the reason I will always bring my car to them for work. These guys are great. I went there with all our problems of both cars. They fixed everything and when the last time our old car was completely dying, they still tried everything possible for us to avoid buying a new one.

High street automotive did a great job on my car and now it runs well. I found it a bit expensive though.
