I have known Eduardo and his team for 25 years. Not only is Eduardo a genuinely a warm and caring individual, he is extremely knowledgeable about cars (and motorcycles) as a whole. He is always fair on pricing and is an accurate diagnostician. I have owned several Jaguar cars as well as other foreign autos, and he has fixed or maintained every single one. He even took care of my Mother's Cadillac. I couldnt love Ed and his team ( Sherry, Erin and others) any more than I do. He is my ride or die mechanic and friend for life. Thanks Eduardo!!!

I have been a customer of this place for more than twenty plus years. Eduardo is a great guy, every tow truck company in Fremont knows him well. I have one Japanese and two German vehicles serviced here for the past twenty plus years. Everyone worked very hard trying to get to the right issue to fix and change only the necessary parts. They have also changed their parts warranty to 24 months over the past few years. Jose took good car of my cars from a simple lightbulb change to windshield wipers. Everyone at this place Eduardo included deserves a kudo. They all worked very hard to focus on taking good car if customers. If there is a six star, I will give them a six star service for taking great care of customers.

Today I noticed a coolant leak in a coolant hose on my Vanagon. I pulled into Fremont Foreign Auto and within a couple of minutes, Eduardo had replaced the hose and topped off the coolant and I was back on the road. Eduardo was extremely knowledgeable, professional and prompt. Will definitely be going back! Thanks Eduardo!

The most professional shop I've found in Fremont. They are very communicative and up front about what needs to be done to your car. I do a lot of my own work so I have somewhat of a critical eye and I've always been quite satisfied with anything they've done to my car.

I have a 2003 PT Cruzer Turbo and I cannot say enough good things about how Fremont Foreign Auto has always done a great job of letting me know what and why something is wrong and then telling me the price and how long it will take to fix it. They always let me know when there's something that they will keep an eye on because it doesn't need fixing at the time but needs to be watched. Everyone is very friendly and helpful always. I know that if they tell me something needs to be done, it needs to be done. I trust them completely to be honest and truthful. Thank you all for all that you do everyday to make your customers happy. Such an amazing experience. I brought my car just to get an estimate on the cost of replacing a broken water tubing for my windshield washer. The owner came out and looked at it and told me, "this is easy". He started working on it with another mechanic and after a few minutes, he asked me to test the washer and it was working properly again. The part of this story that I thought was incredible was when he told me that all the work they did, including the materials were FREE! For the owner of this shop, not only he has great skills, more importantly, he has a great heart!Service: Auto water leak repair

I brought my high end luxury vehicle to Doctor Eduardo with several unique problems. I refer to Eduardo as Dr. because his vast technical knowledge, experience, professionalism and investment in special tools earns him the title.Dr. Eduardo exceeded my expectations, he is a joy to work with and has a great sense of humor. A few months ago, I was arranging an out of state purchase of a used car from a private party. It was an older car, and I was having trouble locating a company I felt comfortable with performing the pre-purchase inspection until I spoke to Eduardo at Fremont Foreign Auto. In fact, as luck would have it, Eduardo owned the same car I was buying, and he knew the cars very well including all of its known quirks. He was honest and direct about the condition of the car, and made recommendations on what I needed to do in order to make my 650+ mile trip home.His team of specialists (they are not just mechanics) went above and beyond to make the repairs that were necessary, as well as solved for a mystery symptom that popped up, within the two days I had before I had to head home, and he even referred me to a good specialist friend who happens to live in my hometown. Eduardo also took time to educate me about the repairs he made, and he gave me some good pointers to use down the road to maintain the car.Before I left his shop, he asked that I do him a favor by calling me when I made it home so he'd know I made it okay. He's genuinely a nice person. He is very passionate about cars (and motorcycles), and he treats his customers like they are family.Thanks again, Eduardo!Service: Vehicle Inspection

Eduardo at Fremont Foreign is a top notch mechanic! Excellent communication, honest, and he did the work quickly and professionally on my Audi A3. Price-wise, Fremont Foreign is neither cheap, or priced outrageously. However, for the quality of work they do, it's very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

I ve had my S5 serviced quite a few times already. I have been completely satisfied. Had a part replaced and it went bad the next day but because they have a warranty it s no issue at all and they ordered another one. They replaced it ASAP. Part is still good til this day. Had an issue where my wire harness clip for the battery cracked and popped off. My car wouldn t turn over so I electrical taped it until I got annoyed of my car not always starting unless I jiggle the battery lol. My man Eduardo hooked me up and welded the part on so it would never snap off again but I can still take out the battery so it s perfect. He did a fantastic 5 star job. I couldn t be happier with the service he and the staff has done with my car.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection

The absolute best in the business! I've been a customer of Eduardo's since since I met him in 1999. I was eager to follow when he opened his 1st location a couple years later. Not only has he serviced/repaired all of my Jaguars and Lotus, but the shop did an amazing job on a Jeep Wrangler engine swap! This team works with great pride and efficiency! They service and repair everything from European to American, and everything in between. Conveniently enough, they'll work with warranty coverages and insurance claims. Basically, they do it all, ver VERY WELL!!. Honesty from a shop is incredibly hard to find in the Bay Area. With Eduardo and his team, you can truly trust the prices, and more importantly, the quality of work!! I will not deviate! Fremont Foreign Auto will be a part of the family till either they retire, or I move out of CA. Thank you Eduardo, Sherry and FFA TEAM!!

I like to work on my own car as much as possible. However, I encountered a job that was slightly out of my skill/tool gap with regard to replacing the front blower motors in my car. I had initially done the work (not 100% correctly) and brought it in to Eduardo and his team. Keep in mind I had already spent about 8 hours on the car. They were able to fix my 90% complete install and button the vehicle up in about 3 hours. I wanted to write this review due some other bad reviews where I saw people commenting on being ripped off or getting quoted for work when not needed. I have not experienced this at all in the 5+ years I've had Eduardo helping me across 2 Porsche's. I've always compared what he was charging and recommending vs OEM at the dealership and he's always come in under their cost and within reason of labor time. He's always been up front with communication and laid out options for me. If there's anyone he could screw over it is those owners of luxury/sports vehicles, but it hasn't happened. I can only chalk up those bad reviews to poor communication OR the communication with the "old guy" that is no longer working the front desk with Eduardo's team. Perhaps those reviews are part of the reason. Rest assured I have not seen him at all at the new location and Sherry and the others that have helped me since they have moved have still been nothing but professional. I appreciate Eduardo and his team so much I have been bringing them popcorn for the xmas holiday for the past few years.

Fremont Foreign Auto team is the best there is. You can tell when someone loves what they do. I would recommend it to everyone. From a Fiat to a Ferrari. They can do it all.

Eduardo is the best around, honest, gracious, and highly skilled.We've been loyal customers for over 10 years. I happily drive my cars over 100 miles to ensure they are serviced at Fremont Foreign.

I took my Mercedes here for transmission issues. Fremont foreign rebuilt my transmission and within a year I had to take it back with more transmission issues. After less than 20k miles my transmission started to slip when changing gears. Thinking they would honor their work, I took the car back for repair. The owner called to tell me my hood would not open which was not an issue before I took my car there. He told me he would only charge me for the hood cable repair which was $170. I took off work and caught bart from San Francisco to Fremont and walked 2 miles from the station only for the shop to try to stick me with a bill for almost $6000. The owner came with the excuses "Mercedes parts break" and " you should have driven it more" and "the company we used to rebuild your transmission originally went bankrupt so we used a new company". When I first took my car to this shop I showed my integrity because the owner called me to tell me my foglight was broken and they feared they did the damage. I could have easily lied and had him repair it for free but I was honest and told them the damage was done prior. That integrity was obviously not returned when they would not honor the mistakes they made during the original transmission repair. I checked my original receipt and it specifically stated they repaired the 2nd and 3rd gear in the transmission. After they took out the transmission they found the 2nd gear was broken again. I spoke with a lawyer yesterday and im currently pursuing legal action.

Eduardo, a wonderful guy to work with. Expert in his trade. Very professional, courteous & knowledgeable.Wonderful shop. Got referred here by my primary care mechanic for some specialized suspension work on my 19 year old Mercedes SUV.Not only was my appointment expedited knowing that the car needed immediate attention, problem found quickly & resolved equally quickly, correctly & professionally.Would highly recommend this place.

Fremont Foreign Auto is the only place to go when you want the best service and expertise in the Bay Area! They have provided many services over the years. Recently they installed video cameras in my car. Perfect installation and they took the time to explain how they work too!Best shop period. I had an issue with my old Honda Accord where someone had tampered with the car. Thankfully, the support from Fremont Foreign Auto were able to identify and swiftly fix the issue without any problem. Excellent service and they showed they care about their customers.

I've been coming to this shop for several years. Eduardo and his team are completely honest and don't leave you confused about anything they explain. This trait is hard to come by when dealing with repair shops. The entire team is very courteous and very friendly. They always make me feel welcomed and are always eager to help and not just turn me away because they don't want to do something (like the dealerships).

5 star auto shop! I want to say thank you again to the receptionist first off who ordered the part for my 986 Porsche before I even stepped foot into the shop. I was traveling from out of town when I noticed my brake lights were stuck on because the switch malfunctioned. I made a call to Fremont Foreign Auto and headed right over. The mechanics got me in and out within the hour! Everyone was very friendly and helpful and mindful of my situation and got me back on the road again! The prices were very generous and service was quick! I would recommend this shop to anyone who needs a foreign vehicle repaired! Thank you for the amazing experience I will never forget!

Eduardo is a great mechanic. I brought my BMW because of my concern with the airconditioner, tight lock on my wheels and brake sensor. It was all done before the end of the day. What a relief. I highly recommend this place. Make an appointment before you go to the shop. It's a busy place.

Stellar service! If you need auto service, go to this place! Don't waste your time looking somewhere else. Eduardo is the owner and he is actively working with his team to solve your car problem. This is a honest and precise service shop. I had my BMW 128i serviced here, they provide fast service and don't push you to have additional services that you don't need, like other low-quality service shops do.

I have been taking my cars to Eduardo since I was 16 and I bought my first car, since then hes been nothing but amazing. I have owned many cars and I have always been ecstatic with the service that I have received and as a customer I have been more than impressed with Eduardo's tools and equipment knowing that he has the most up to date and detailed tools makes me know that I am not wasting my money on a second rate mechanic!
