Hit or Miss, kind of service. The facility is excellent , the location is nice. Everyone is sales driven, worried about their own commission and there seems internal friction. Their Courtesy Check Inspection report is great at $10+. Unfortunately no one can explain, even after replacing the brakes, before and after thickness was listed as the same # mm. Secondly they wasted my 4-5 hours without finishing an approved job, and had to come back another day, even then they were rough. Looks like the corporation is not paying attention, or they have given up on this location. Technicians do reasonable work, thanks to them, but not sure, how old and new brake pad thickness could be same

I tried to get an appointment online which is not a good experience however the guys at my local Firestone made accommodations and got me squeezed in even though there were no more available time slots. Great customer service! Also, I wanted to balance my tires but the manager inspected my tires and found I had cupping and didn t need to balance but replace 1 tire which he doesn t carry. I thought that was great customer care as he could have charged me for a service I didn t need but would have never known that. Thanks Firestone!

Needed an oil change and tire rotation, drove in here at 7:30. Pulled up right in front of the shop, everybody working in the shop watched me walk in. Stood at the counter for 10 mins, several people in the shop walked by and looked at me through the window, at no point did any employee EVER come into the store to man the desk or ask what I needed. I have better ways to spend my time, left and went to jiffy lube next door. If you're going to waste my time and have me sit there for nothing, I'd rather do it at jiffy lube waiting for them to open. This place sucks out loud.

After I paid for the service, I was handed over the inspection report, the representative was not at all interested to explain the report. The tire tread depth was marked as 8 and 8 for front tires and 7 and 7 for rear tires. I asked him how can this reading be different for brand new tires where I just drove the car from home after changing all the 4 tires? He kept blabbering and did not give a good explanation. I am not convinced that the reading can be different for front and rear tires within just 8-10 miles on brand new tires. When I asked for repairs, he told everything is sent to your email, check out and then He told " I am done with you". I am regretting that I paid for lifetime alignment with Firestone and I had to see him everytime I go there for service. Pathetic service.I was thinking that I will get my other car service here, but I will not do that. I will not refer to my friends again.

I have been a happy and regular customer of Firestone for couple of years now. All my cars and I have been taken care well by Firestone till this day. Looks like either they have too many customers or very few mechanics. Yesterday, I wanted the oil change for my car and was there at 7.30 in the morning and there were three people ahead of me. I understand that one will be forced to operate with certain limitations when the resources are stretched. These limitations can be well explained to the customers and customer will anyway make their choice. The person behind the counter was quite unprofessional and was to some extent rough in conveying his limitations!

Been coming here for years! Firestone is honest, straightforward and usually has great deals on their website on everything related to car maintenance. They never oversell which is what keeps bringing me back. They keep you in the loop as your car gets worked on and are very responsive. I'd highly recommend bringing your car here.

can I give a negative review?For past 10 years, I went to Firestone for all services including oil change. Nobody ever touched my car. Last fall, the next day right after my oil change, my car started to leak - big puddle of engine oil on my driveway! They damaged a part! The manager refused to fix it for me. so I asked him to refund $60 oil change charge - even this step was a big fight!!Then I talked to several other car service shops, they gave me same conclusion - oil change process damaged the cap. I had to spend $1000 to fix it.the manager is extremely rude!!!

Where do I start? I just went there for a brake job and it took roughly 3 hours. That's not even the bad part yet that's just normal stuff, When I come to pick up my car after I was told it was done I saw none of my car wheels were back on the car. It clearly wasn't finished yet and they called me back too early. That's not really a problem, that just a small mistake and not the reason for the one star. My car was finally finished and I paid for it I went outside and I notice there was something wrong with my trunk handle on my Prius. I then notice that part of the plate that guards the hatchback handle has cracked! I called the main manager over there to show him the crack and he was reacting like he wasn't sure it was done at his shop. I told him that crack was not there until I brought the car here. He gave me a card and told me that the main manager of the whole store would call me the next day. The next day happen and I did not receive a call so I had to call down to the shop to talk to the main manager. Not only was there a crack in the plate that covers the handle but the whole handle and plate came off, hanging from one wire. The guy that worked on my car ripped the whole handle off of my trunk and didn't tell anybody and pretended like it didn't happen! Also the very next day one of my lights on my dashboard that indicate that I have a low tire came on! We're talking amateur hour here!! I'm going down tomorrow to talk to the main manager and I hope I get this fixed. Stear clear of this place!! So mad!!

I made an appointment for a wheel alignment with Firestone at 10 AM. Upon arrival, the Customer Service rep refused to take my car because there was only one technician and they doesn't do a wheel alignment. I'd canceled my other appointment just because of this appointment. I was very upset and made filed a complaint with their customer service number on the same day. She told me that someone will review my complaint and then call me back within 2-3 days. Now, it's been over one week and no one has called me or tried to contact me.I feel as if Firestone doesn't care about their customer's valuable time. Very disappointing to make time to set an appointment just to be sent home without any work done on my car. Is it the service we expect from FIRESTONE? Sorry, very poor customer service.Service: Wheel alignment

Very quick and trustworthy service. Pleasant and helpful staff. Car is ready on time or early. Just need to have employees consistently avoid getting grease on fabric car seats, mats, and door upholstery. Ditto for exterior paint.

Had an appointment, arrived early and they drove the car onto the alignment rack etc. However, they pulled the car off the rack later and turned me away because a Firestone employee's mistake in putting my information in the system. I called the original facilities that made the mistake and they corrected it. But the worker at this location said he can't see it here so i will have to wait "until tomorrow" which was New years day and they were closed. Now 3 days later I still can't get an appointment. Called back and was told they would have to schedule it way out.

My mom took her car in for an oil change earlier today. Now my mom s car keeps on dying and she has to restart it. She paid $83 for the oil change and now she has to take it elsewhere to get it fixed. She was told by a lady working behind the desk that my mom put too much oil into her car prior to her car being serviced. My mom stated that she tried driving it around and now her car isn t working right. She was told that by her putting much oil into her car that she probably damaged her engine and for her to take it back to the dealershipService: Oil change

Be aware from their staff. one guy drove car from garage and hit my car. I asked for insurance details and drive details from them and they refused to provide me any details. I also followed up with them for two days and they never provided me any single detail.

I first would like to say that I have brought all of my vehicles to this Firestone for over ten years. It has been very recent that the manager on duty has been not so welcoming or friendly. Today I took my car to ask about replacing one of the lights on my SUV and asked if it could be done. The manager stated that he thinks it is a LED light that they can't replace, so I asked him to look up my information to see that they have replaced that bulb but on the passenger side. He refused to walk out to look at my car, so I asked if someone else could check it out for me. After all of that, he told me it was better to take it somewhere else for repair. I felt he was unprofessional and dismissive and did not want to take the time to replace the bulb or give me an appointment to bring it back in. This was the second time he had done this to me, but this would be the last time. I will search for another shop. Sadly, I have the Firestone credit card. Extremely disappointed!

I have been serving my fleet vehicle for over a yet now and my personal vehicle. I was always advised to drop the car earlier in the day as it got busier. I have always got my car within 3 to 4 hours tops.Great and professional service. Definitely a recommended place for your car .

example of why employees are important. The front desk manager or clerk is discriminatory. I had a white guy ahead of me who was served all bubly and happily On my turn looked like the manager/ clerk switched on his bias button for discrimination. Everyone needs to be treated fairly. I made a mistake coming here. you better off visiting another place for your car.

I usually go to the one in hayward and i recieve the best service there but this one is so close to my work i had to make the stop. I woke up to a flat front tire and the other front had a slow leak, i called firestone and they not only fit me in but got it done quick and efficiently. Very grateful for James and everyone at Fremont Firestone. Definitely will be returning

Worst experience ever! We dropped our car Sunday evening and we were told that somebody will be in touch with us Monday morning. After calling 10-12 times, they finally picked up our call and kept on postponing till Tuesday evening. Tuesday evening, they called and said they have identified the issue but they are not able to fix it. They charged us almost twice than what we were promised initially for the diagnosis. Their manager is very rude. Overall, it was a complete waste of time and money.

This place used to be a 4 or 5 stars. Came in today and service has gone down hill. Rude staff is a turn off. Even if I wanted to continue giving them business I wouldn't be able to bring myself to. In the past have recommended Firestone for their honest staff. Now the attitude just blows.Update: Maybe it was just a bad day. Upgrading from 2 stars back to 4.Update 1/14/19: Tried calling several times to get tires. The phone rings for 3-5 minutes and then just hangs up. Don't know if this place is still around. This was during listed business hours. Down to 2 stars since it's impossible to know if this place is still open and taking customers.

Message to Indian Community:Yahaan kabhi na jain!!I made a appointment to see this particular shop to get alignment checked again ( the car was working perfectly). Car was working perfectly since I have a mechanic who takes care of my vehicle.In a matter of few minutes leaving their premises a new problem developed and when I returned next day as to why things can go wrong out of blue .... I had to hear that take your work somewhere else, I don't like your line of questioning. With little choice I had to get part replaced and got a bill for $500.I asked for the part that failed and they said they sent it to supplier to get lower price for me.They know people are in bind and towing will cost extra on top of the repair and plus hassle of investigating ...customer want to get on their way. So people listen up. I do not recommend this particular business.If you need oil change go to oil change only place, battery just go to battery place only, tire change go to a tire store and change place only. If you go to a shop that provide all range of service like this business, DON'T EVEN STEP IN.Please write comment, tell us how many of you went to this repair shop and ended up getting more problems.PS: I called State Attorney office to get their customer list and investigate how many customer came in and got caught up with more problems at their shop.
