I ll never take my car anywhere else! Rick and his team know the goals we have with our vehicles and keeps them running as long as he can. On the most recent visit I reported some sporadic noises, so his team did an incredibly detailed inspection. Everytime I call they take the time to explain what is and isn t urgent to be fixed, so I ve never felt price gouged as I did with other shops. I drove it home the next day feeling confident in the car and the people who worked on it.

There s a reason Dorso s has been there forever, Rick knows his cars and gets it done. Most professional shop I ve ever been to my car was falling apart and they got it back together in a day. This is one shop that you can trust. They ain t trying to rip you off they re there to help for real

They're still out there!You know those businesses we occasionally hear about that have been in a community for years, if not decades. The ones that are built on quality work, integrity, and personable service. Thankfully, Dorso's Automotive is one of them. They totally get it.Unfortunately this sector sometimes has a reputation for being opaque. However, Rick and his team at Dorso's go above and beyond to ensure you know exactly what's happening with your vehicle. Transparency! Imagine!Rick has ensured his business stays current by using technology thoughtfully to keep clients informed on the vehicle's status. You understand what you're being charged and why. Add in some good banter, a few laughs, and you get a great service experience. It's no wonder he's been around 35 years.Highly recommended. Glad I found our family's new auto shop.

I don't like leaving my car for over 2 days, but I guess it all depends on a lot of factors. My car had to have front motor mount replaced and other front end parts and now it drives like a dream! Thank u Dorsos!

Since my first visit to Dorso s I have not and will not be taking my car anywhere else. Had my car towed to this shop multiple times for various reasons over the years and each time my Infiniti G37s was diagnosed and properly repaired in a timely manner, and ran better than ever. The owner always took the time to speak to me personally and go over in great detail what was going on each time I brought it in and what was done. He is an honest hard working man and made sure that all my concerns and needs were met. He told me he loves his job. The way he runs his shop and deals with clients, it is obvious to me that he truly loves what he does.

Rick and Joe assisted me with the check engine light problem in my car. They are very friendly, professional and knowledgable. They could have very easily got few hundred dollars the first time I showed up but they didnt charge me anything and they cleared the error code as it could have just showed up by mistake. But the error came back again and they found the problem the next time I visited. They are expensive than other shops but I would say its very reasonable for the service we get. I would highly recommend Dorsos automotive to others.

Once again a great service. Dorso s is always thorough in their inspections and flawless in their execution, which makes a huge difference for my really old car, not only for its repairs, but especially prevention too. My vehicle died on the freeway and I had it towed to Dorso's. They couldn't get to it right away but were happy to let me leave it with them. I was pretty sure that the fuel pump was bad and I was right. They diagnosed it quickly and got the repair done, which required draining the fuel and removing the tank, in just one day. They also inspected the entire vehicle and made recommendations. Overall I'm very happy with their work. It was a bit pricey, but then again everything is these days, and you get what you pay for.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection

Dorso's is the place to go to, if you are looking for an honest and thorough mechanic. They find and fix all the important issues that need to be fixed. If some issues don't need your attention right away, but a few months down the line, they tell you so. Their prices are reasonable. And my cars have been running smoothly since I started getting them taken care of by Dorso's. I would highly recommend Dorso's to everyone.

I can't say enough good things about Joe at Dorsos. I had some parts stolen on my vehicle and called them right away based on the reviews. Joe was so kind and willing to work with me since I was down to one vehicle. He let me email pictures of the area where the parts were stolen and even sent me an estimate for the total cost. He did say it would need to be inspected, so I brought it in and a couple hours later he called me and said there was another business that could give me a cheaper price and referred me to them. When I asked if they wanted payment they said it was ok, just send us your business in the future. So now I'm telling everyone how kind, ethical and upstanding the people are at Dorsos. You really feel that they are keeping the customers best interest at heart. Highly, highly recommend them.

Professional, prompt, and wonderful service.Found after a quick search of nearby auto shops that could work on work on replacing a battery and cables to the battery after finding corrosion on the battery and terminal.Called about issues with my car battery and cables and was seen far soon than expected. The team even took care of some paint scrapes that were on the side of the car after left in their care; on top of some routine service on the car.Will gladly come back again. Thank you Joe and Team!

Excellent and prompt work! They don't recommend any unnecessary repairs. For one of the issues they asked me to goto dealership even though the vehicle didn't have warranty to see if they dealership can diagnose and repair. Dorso is the place to go, period ! This review is long overdue . I had problem with my Hyundai Sonata with general repair as well as MUFFLER problem.My car had problem with muffler as well as maintenance. On calling couple of automotive repair shops in fremont , i was quotes too high or vague answers on muffler problem . Finally searching google reviews and yelp reviews i finally called Dorso. The calmly explained menthe muffler issue along with fix and price (which was bit high) but were very transparent hence I selected them straight away.Dorso team sent me detailed screenshots of problem for my general auto maintenance as well as muffler work which had to be taken care by special third party mufflers experts.They made sure about each stage of work and suggested precautions even though my car was done and i am glad i kept my vehicle for 2 days extra so that they could fix all my precautionary issues.The only regret I have is i should have started coming here maybe 6-7 months earlier for servicing !Not only are the owners and all people here knowledgeable and are in this business for many years, but they are very transparent ( share screenshots of work at each stage and message us ) and humble guys !I already have suggested most of my friends to have their car services here :)Best of luck and thanks to Dorso team for all the hard work dedication and the quality work provide to every car !Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Tire rotations, Vehicle Inspection, Auto exhaust system replacement, Brakes, Auto maintenance, Oil change

I brought my vehicle to Dorso's for the first time after seeing all the great reviews on line. Plus, I knew they were an excellent shop as this business is AAA approved for auto repair.Before coming to Dorso's, a local auto dealership advise me about some worn parts that were in need of replacement. I wasn't surprised as my vehicle has over 120,000 miles on it. So, Rick and his team did their inspection and came to the conclusion that one of the items noted by the car dealership, worn and leaking rear shocks, were not in need of repair/replacement. This was great news as new electronic shocks are very expensive! Dorso's did repair and replace the other items on my vehicle (installation of new front brakes & sway bar end links) and also made me aware of a worm rear wiper blade, which I also had them replace.I am now a very satisfied customer and would recommend Dorso's for anyone in need of a great auto repair shop in the Fremont area. Rick and his techs are fair, honest and deserve their reputation as one of the best shops in the industry!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Went in for a break replacement. Did an inspection and let me know I didn't need them replaced instead of trying to push me into it. Ended up just doing a break fluid replacement. Good service, 4 stars because they accidentally gave me someone else's key and the actual key to my car was just left inside the cupholder. Could've gotten messy if I hadn't picked up my car quickly or drove off with the wrong key.

Dorso s are not mechanics. They are car physicians..they carefully look over everything and give you a full diagnostic. Their prices are services fees are reasonable and they are very quick. They treat every customer with respect and understanding. They know you need your car back ASAP and they do their best to turn it around fast. Dorso's continues to provide quality customer service with all my car repairs and servicing. I'm personally very particular about how my car runs and I always give my full trust to Rick and his team. Rick will give a thorough breakdown of your repairs. Prices always seem fair. Simply put, they run a great shop. They tend to be busy, but I don't mind waiting to make an appointment when it means that I'll receive a quality job.

Rick really went to great lengths to get my 300,000+ mile truck fixed properly and safely. I was kept informed of everything going on during the process and always felt like I was getting the best care possible. I would absolutely recommend bringing your vehicle here and will be returning for any of my future repair needs.
