New to the area and tried Cat's auto shop as most reviews I read online that Cat provided a honest and efficient service. Didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't need and only did the work I needed. Walked me through everything he checked and answered all my questions.Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a mechanic. Excellent service and good character - a rare find.

First time at Cat's Automotive Repair today. Recommended to me by a friend. Cat and Jason were excellent and chill. They took great care of my old and banged up Corolla and the price was very reasonable and nice! I will definitely go back. Thank you, Gentlemen.

We had the opportunity to use Cat's services as a recommendation from another mechanic. The car was needing to be drive out of state, and we had a hard pressed time line. Cat was able to get my vehicle in to be serviced (plug & coils) in a pinch, and provided excellent service. His knowledge of the problem, attention to detail in completing the service, and professionalism & courtesy were all top notch. I would highly recommend Cat as a primary go to for your Automotive repair needs.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Very excellent and friendly service. I will definitely come in again.Recently came in for an oil change and repair for the lock on my driver side door. Cat and Jason took a second look at it to see if the lock could be cleaned and repaired rather than replaced. It works well now. Really appreciate the attention to detail guys!

I was calling around to find a shop to get my car breaks replaced. Out of all the places I called, it immediately felt right when I spoke with Cat. Very pleasant, professional, transparent and honest. I brought my car in, the work was done on-time, the quality is solid and the price was right (per my expectations). Overall I had a great experience. Highly recommend Cat's Auto. As much as I hope not to need a car mechanic, if I do, Cat will be the first place I'll call.Service: Brakes

Cat provides excellent service and great results! We already spent so much in other places (including the dealership) on an intermittent AC problem, but it was this place that got it finally right. No wonder they specialize in heating and air auto systems. The team here, including Cat personally, makes sure that diagnosis and post-repair tests are thoroughly run to catch the source of any problems. Customer service makes you feel like family and reassures us that we're in good hands. We're so happy with our experience here.

Cat's Automotive has worked on our cars for years. Cat and his crew are awesome! We can get appointments fairly quickly. He is thorough and will call you as he finds things or if something isn't right. He gives great advice and recommendations for services. We are totally pleased with the service they have provided for us.

After 12 years, I won t take my car anywhere else ..I may not live in the bay area, but I still bring my car to Cat s Automotive. A 2x warranty repair didn t keep me off the road thanks to James & Cat. I can t thank you both enough & I love, love you guys

Used Cat's a number of times to include a 200K checkup. Once couldn't get the trunk open. He fixed by pushing the lock button inside the glove compartment (no charge). He doesn't try to upsell the customer. Delivers when promised. Good communication skills. You will not find a nicer guy in business than Cats - his honest and personalized service are a lost art form but alive and well at his business. My best example of making a bad situation easy was when my wife's Lexus "Burped Out" 70 error codes on his diagnostic machine. They narrowed that to 5 real problems and fixed all of them in a day. I thought the car was at the end of its life but it is now running the best ever with 116K miles on it and showing no sign of age.Call Cats for a quality work, honest appraisals, and the knowledge that he is not gouging you for things you don't need.

You need a GO TO MECHANIC? Here he is, he's got a team that surpasses great customer satisfaction. Is your car performing poorly and can't afford to buy one? Cat and his crew will restore your faith in auto repair shops and put life back in your car. I have a 98 firebird, was ready to sell it, not anymore!!! I'm thrilled that i found Cat's automotive repair shop. I've been here a few times, getting everything done to get it running perfect again. With almost 300,000 miles on car,, Cat's automotive will get me through another 300,000 miles. You can't see my face but I'm smiling ear to ear.

My boss referred me to Cat. I am so glad I went to him. He is one of the most HONEST mechanics I have ever met. Most mechanics just want your money so they will tell you that you need everything under the sun done to your vehicle. I didn't need half of what I was told needed to be done to my car and Cat was honest with me about that instead of taking my other estimate and just charging me for everything that was listed.I had an issue with one of my tires that was very dangerous for my children and I to even be in the car and driving in. I dropped off the car with Cat around 8am and he had it done and back to me by 3pm. WHAAAAT????? Same day service? Who does that? ON NEW YEARS EVE?!?!?!I will never in my life use any other mechanic. Cat won me over on the first shot.

Cat has worked on several of my vehicles, and has done so on a number of occasions cheaper than I expected. Great service, great customer care, and great results. One of few mechanics I trust. Can't beat that.

Cat Rios has been taking care of my cars for year and years! For most of those years, I had a barrage of cars to go along with my barrage of teenage drivers and all the cars needed a lot of TLC. And well, they also needed a great mechanic to keep them safe and on the road. As my kids grew up and moved out of the house, they got better jobs, and better cars. Still, when they need something car related, they know exactly where to go. My 80 something parents rely on him too to keep their older car running well. They relocated to Dublin and tried a few others... nobody measured up; so, now they just bring the car over the hill when maintenance and repairs are needed. They know he charges a fair price and provides excellent service. I highly recommend Cat's Auto!

Great auto repair shop! Received fast and excellent service at a fair price to replace a broken alternator. Cat, the owner, is a very honest and friendly guy. I will definitely come back here for future repairs

OVERPRICED. Very arrogant will not be returning. His prices scared me away he charges for every little thing. His referral is his son who works at a dentist office which is being cited for hygiene not up to code.

Strongly recommend. They have been in business a long time and are honest, quick and not expensive. I had something that I thought would be a big job and they had be in and out of there in 20 minutes. I'll be back there for sure.
