The store manager Marcel was very helpful. He immediately recognized my presence and assisted me with troubleshooting my vehicle. He wore really nice shoes and smelled very good ( DIOR)

Quick service with John. Needed a new battery for my car and he didn t hesitate. Showed me my options and explained the benefits of the different batteries since I have a sound system in my car. I was expecting to install it myself but John came out to the parking lot and changed it right then and there at no additional charge. Fantastic customer service! I will definitely be coming here for my future automotive needs

This location is great. The staff is so helpful I would like to bring up Mr. Maurice, who helped me recommending the right battery for my truck, also helped me install it, too. He is a great guy here on the other side of your other location. The one in Newark, your staff is rude over there. They need to learn how to be respectful towards your customers, especially the one in Grey t-shirts in Newark location. Thanks

Every time I ve called and asked for a specific part they say come on down we have it. I even look it up online on there App. I even give them the Part Number #. The past 3 times I ve gone where they said they have it they didn t. This shouldn t be that hard. It s already hard finding a ride when I need parts for my car to run. I m just so confused. Wish I could give 0 stars :/

I am an active customer at Auto Zone and I have been treated very well at other locations. My car broke down and needed a new battery, I called the closest Auto Zone (this location) they said they have the battery, I asked if I can borrow tools to install and the person on the phone said sure. I went to the store and paid for the battery and ask to borrow the tools to install. Maricio who claims he is the store manager refused to lend me the needed tool, very rudely says cannot lend the tool because customers never return them back. I told him your employee said yes for lending tools. Maricio did not want to hear it. I said to Maricio It is an emergency, I am spending almost $ 260.00 on a battery and I am willing to leave a deposit for the tools but Maricio the store manager would not do it, I said you would rather cancel the sale and refund my money, he replied he can do that. I cancelled the sale and refunded my money, I mentioned to Maricio that I am not too happy with his behavior and I will let corporate office know, his respond was " YOU DO WHAT YOU WHANT" . I went down the street to Allied and bought the needed battery for $50.00 less and was treated very respectfully.I am a Sr citizen not a young person trying to steal a $ 10.00 tool. I should have been treated with more respect. And to Maricio the young store manager with a chip on his shoulder I saw you need a lots of growing up to do and learn how to be a professional Manager and show more respect for the elderly. But I do not blame you Maricio, I blame the person that thought you are qualified to be a Manager level.Regards.

If I could give a zero star, I will do it definitely. This is the worst experience I had with any auto shop. I called on Sunday evening for replacing a new battery and was told that they can provide batter installation for free on Tomorrow which is a Monday. During the call, I confirmed that it is available from 8 o'clock in the morning.I came the next day at 10:30am and then one guy gave me another answer: they only have two people in the store and can not do free installation, and ask me to come back at 12pm to 1pm. I left them my phone # in case someone is free then. At the same time, I paid all the money.Until 1:30pm, no call at all. I chose to call them again and encountered a very rude man and asked me to call back at 3pm to see if someone can help me then. I replied to him that you guys told me 1pm when the 3rd guy will help install. He even emphasized that service is a courtesy and implied that "dont bother me again". He forgot one thing: as a customer, if no free installation, why I chose this store?Overall, (1)bad service; (2)unfulfilled promises (one after another).

Great service by the second person that assisted me. After calling and being told the item was in stock I drove to the store and 1st person said oh we don't have it. The 2nd guy that assisted me said yes we do have it here for you. Glad someone is doing their job. First guy didn't even look.

This place is just okay. Waited for 15 minutes for help while the employee was fiddling around on the computer. They really are lacking in experience when asking for a simple item. I also really didn't like being greeted as "boss" very condescending in my opinion! They should really train these people how to talk and assist customers.

I went here to get brake lights, Diane (Hope i got your name right) was very helpful, she greeted me with a smile and she helped me find what i was looking for and even took the initiative to help me put the brake lights on. I was lost i have never done anything on a car (NewDriver 3 years) she was very helpful and did it with a smile as i fought the spider that lived in my passenger side view mirror with soider raid and peppermint essential oil. Got my light fixed and evicted the unwanted tenant. Thanks Diane! You were very helpful

Needed a new battery for my F150, and anticorrosion spray for the battery terminals. As always great and attentive service as soon as I walked in the door with my old battery. Keep up the great job! See you next time. =)

The staff here is very unprofessional. Came in to return and there was know one up front. There were also other customers in line waiting for staff .they just scream out to the customers behind the wall and say they are on lunch. And left is to wait. One guy started stealing stuff and left.

Was in store looking for car bulbs. The two male employees were at counter chatting. Both were using the 'f' word often. They were loud enough to be heard throughout the store. I dont think it is a good business practice to swear when customers can hear it.

There were maybe 5 other customers inside when I went in. I looked around looking for headlights replacement lights. Found what I needed, ask them to check that they were the correct light and they were. It doesn't seem to be that big of an auto parts store, but it appears that they could still cover your needs.

Very helpful staff. My car's headlight bulb had gone busted. I just walked in with the old one and the person at the counter, picked up the right match almost instantly while also ensuring that it was the right beam bulb. Pretty quick in and out.

Alissa and Armando went out of their way to help on so many ways. Armando was so patient with my returns and lack of knowledge of my own car . I forgot to get something and instead of telling me which isle to go to, Alissa said, I ll get it . So fast and helpful. I forgot to acknowledge the assistant manager last time I was there. All 3 trips and 3 excellent attitudes. This store sets the bar for auto part stores. Thank you.

Battery died. Staff was very helpful and confirmed that it needed to be replaced. Checked the prices but Costco was half the price for a battery with similar specs and warranty...

Zero stars if I could. Called to see if they had struts for a lift gate, and George said they had 2 in stock and would hold them while I called around price shopping. Called back to buy the struts over the phone, was told I couldn't and that I would have to come in person to buy them but the guy I was talking to was about to clock out so he said he'd tell his coworkers that I was coming to buy those parts. It wasn't convenient for me to go right then to buy the struts, but as it was the only place in the area with the parts I needed in a short time, I didn't feel like I had an option. Got to the store 20 minutes later and stood in line for almost 10 minutes when I finally was able to ask about my phone order, which obviously no one knew about. They checked their shelves to find while their inventory said they had 2 struts like I had requested, only 1 could be found. I'm upset that in the 2 times I called about the parts in question, no one bothered to check if the parts were physically there, if keeping inventory lists current is such a problem. That was an hour of my wasted time in Fremont rush hour traffic when I had prior plans that I pushed back for parts I couldn't even get. Geez, thanks a lot for not checking the shelves before I drive there to make you do it. Apparently calling ahead to minimize any headaches doesn't prevent headaches.

Before I drive there, I check their website for price and availability. When I find what I want, I snap an image of it with my phone. Then show it to the counter guy. Bada-bing-bada-boom!
