I had my Tesla Model Y serviced over a year and a half ago, and I am still amazed at the incredible quality of the work done on my car! From the moment I arrived, the team made me feel right at home, and they were incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of car detailing. They took the time to explain the entire process to me, and I felt confident that I was in good hands.And let me tell you, I was right! The paint protection film they installed is virtually invisible and has kept my car looking brand new, despite all the wear and tear it's been through. The tinted windows still look fantastic and provide a comfortable driving experience, and the ceramic coating has kept my car shiny and smooth like the day I drove it off the lot.The level of attention to detail that the team puts into their work is truly impressive, and it shows in the incredible quality of the finished product. Even after all this time, I still get compliments on my car, and I owe it all to them.I highly recommend their services to anyone who wants top-notch car detailing. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Even after 1.5 years, the work done on my car is still turning heads, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. Great quality work and products! I asked for their best tint available and it was definitely worth the money. Not easy putting the tint on the rear curved glass with fritz of my c6 corvette but they made it work. This place is amazing!!! I got my car in September 2021 had been debating on where to get my car tinted. I had gone to three or four places and got quotes before I saw a Facebook post on a Tesla group for a tint special by Rodz Tint Shop. I live by LAX so going all the way to Fountain Valley wasn t ideal. I m so glad I did!!I went there to check it out and felt so at ease with Mayra as she was so professional, knowledgeable and very detail oriented that I knew I wanted to get it done there. I had no idea what percentage I wanted and she gave me her recommendation so I went with that. I also ended up getting front PPF and the Tesla emblems painted in red through them. She went through each window checking for any defects and/or chips and pointed out a couple of issues, no biggie I couldn t believe how detailed she was.I scheduled the tint for a week that I would be out of town so that I wouldn t be without a car for a day. When I picked up my car a week later it was PERFECT!!! The tint was amazing, the emblems look so hot in red, they installed my mud flaps and red stickers that I d had in my trunk for a month. Oh, and they charged by car for me. I got to meet Rod and have to say he is one of the nicest guys you ll ever meet.I ve had quite a few people comment how good the tint was done. Took my new Y to Rodz. First off, Mayra is amazing to deal with! She got me hooked up with all the details I wanted. Wrapped in 3M Dark Satin Gray with the ceramic coat. Tinted all the glass with Llumar IRX. They did such an awesome job and made me feel so at home! Definitely recommend for their customer service and quality/value of work. If you have a Tesla, this is definitely the place to go!!

Update: in response to the response here I WAS NOT messaging both locations. All the messages were to the SANTA ANA location as can be seen from the photos of the continuous conversation. Please DO NOT TRY TO LIE and say that I was messaging both when you know for a fact it was only one just to try to make you look better. When I went to make the appointment that Santa Ana location said they would reach out to the fountain valley location to see if they were available for any appointment. Do not try to lie here to make up for not doing what was offered. As well as what the young lady said over the phone when I was called by the company saying that YOU had made the mistake and wouldn t honor the offer that was made to me. It is in black and white in the photos I have attached in a continuous message thread thru the same Instagram account.After talking with this location and setting up the appointment, they were unaware I had a truck. So when I told them and they verified what the quote that I had gotten was. Said they were going to make sure it was ok and call me back. So then I get called back from the other location instead of her calling me back. So now it seems that my offer isn't going to be honored after dynamic auto contacted me to offer the service. I am very disappointed in this business and the service/business practices. I attached the info from what was originally offered below.Unfortunately I have to blast them on yelp. It's unfortunate but when I was given a price for my f250 full front end $1800, which was the same price as a local guy that I was going to go with and told them thanks but no thank you. Then THEY recontact me again later after I told them this to see if I'd still be interested. And I tell them again that for that price I have a local guy that I'm gonna use. So they then tell me ok well we can do our special $1495 for you and I verify what all that's going to include... hood, fenders, bumper, mirror caps and I ask, grille and headlights? They answered not grill only headlights. So fast forward to now... I'm setting up the appointment and ask about going to the other location and then that location is getting the deposit and setting the appointment and they are surprised that it's a truck I have. So then I get called back from the other location and they say sorry WE DIDN'T MEAN TO SAY THAT it included lights so we can't do that. But if you want those done we can do it for $1800. So now just offered me the special without really doing it. I asked if they are going to honor what THEY offered but THEY SAID NO.... I think that's pretty bad business to do. NO ONE CARES ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE ANYMORE.

-=Telsa Enthusiasts, Look No Further=-After much research, I found a Group Buy on the Tesla Model 3 forums for Rodz Tint Shop. For top-shelf film grade, they were cheaper by 25-35% compared to the handful of Tesla-experienced tint shops I cross-referenced. That being said, price was only one factor in identifying the right shop for me.So I read that the Model 3 is tricky to tint. The large rear pane and abundance of electronics complicate things.Had I known what I was getting into, I would not have wasted so much time pillaging the Internet as if I were preparing for an interview. Arriving at the shop, I was taken aback by how comfortable the shop manager, Sarai, made the process feel. She listened intently, clarified the misinformation I received and helped me navigate everything smoothly.I could have saved many, many hours. For those without a complete picture, I encourage you to just pay Sarai a visit.Armed with the right knowledge, I made a few decisions but was not sure what shades I wanted. Although there were clear examples of the various types and shades of film in Sarai s office, she and Daniel took it a step further by allowing me to see them on my vehicle itself. Quite literally, this is the clearest confidence boost you could give any customer. In doing so, I chose the following shades:Windshield: 3M Crystalline 90%Front windows: Llumar IRX 50%Reard windows/quarters: Llumar IRX 35%Rear windshield/roof: Llumar IRX 40%I wanted the best combination of 360 degree heat resistance, safety day and night, and enough of a contrast between front and back to fend off the pigs. Prior to purchase and after installation, these were the exact products and shading that I wanted.One last thing.Rodz Tint Shop has done work on hundreds and hundreds of Teslas. They are also a 2-man shop: Daniel (who is amazing to deal with) and Rod himself! This means they have both worked together on HUNDREDS of Teslas. With each install, I imagine they master their craft even more. This may not be the case with larger shops who have part-time or transient workers.After two weeks, I could say with confidence, the attention to service, quality of product and level of craftsmanship was clear from minute one. I could not be more satisfied.Book in advance. The process will take a few hours. They take card but prefer cash.

The SEARCHStop looking around and book your appointment with Rodz Tint Shop. I was surfing for quite some time to find a professional and quality shop for my Tesla Model 3. When I came across Rodz Tint Shop, I seriously stopped looking. Mayra provided me the detailed information I needed to make my decision. I had a lot of questions, and Mayra answered them all. Mayra is very experienced, knowledgeable, and personable. Most of all, she gave Zero pressure to make a decision. All communication was done through messenger, on and off-hours too. No other tint shop had the patience to do this. So kudos to Mayra for keeping me on the hook! Until The ARRIVAL.The ARRIVALAs soon as I entered their office, I could feel right away that I made the right decision. I was welcomed in by Mayra in the front office, and we went over my decision one more time to make sure I was confident about the brand and tint %. I decided to go with LLumar 30% all around - Air 80 Windshield and Sunroof. Good to go! Next.... The SHOP.The SHOPRod and crew are incredibly welcoming and friendly, and they keep the shop clean and professional. It was nice to see that they expanded their shop to accommodate more cars. I was able to observe them working on three cars. Rod showed me a brand new Tesla Model 3 he was working on straight from Tesla, which he was applying a 15% tint job, another Tesla Model 3 that was receiving a new PPF front that was backed into by another car. Rod proudly showed me how the original paint was saved on the front end because of the initial PPF he applied to the car, impressive! There was a third car that they were applying a 15% tint to, but I don't recall the make and model, but it was looking good too. So I left them to it until I got the call for The PICKUP...The PICKUPI was provided with a loaner car while they worked on my car. (You need to reserve this loaner car ahead of time.) I received a message from Mayra that my car was completed, a lot earlier than projected. When I arrived, my car was parked in front of the office, and it looked GREAT. Everyone, including Rod, came out and looked over the car with me, and I drove away very happy with my decision. Honeslty, I left feeling as if I just bought a brand new car, and that's what it looked like a brand new car.It has been about a week since they worked on my car and I could not be happier. The car looks clean and sharp. I have had many compliments from friends and co-workers. I will use Rodz Tint shop for any of my future tint jobs, ceramic coats, or PPF and highly recommend them to my friends and family.You can tell that they take pride in their work and it shows in the way that they treat each car as if it were their own and their customers as if they were family.Please - Search no more - You found the right shop !!!

From my first experience with Rodz they have been amazing. Tinting a Tesla Model 3 isn't easy (so I have been told) but their quality is amazing. They took the time to explain the entire process, the tint options, and provided me with the best value. The staff was absolutely amazing. There were a couple cars in the shop so they took the time to show me the tint difference on the different cars. They completed the work well within the time quoted. I definitely recommend their work.

I came to Rodz to do a full 15% nano ceramic Llumar tint (roof + windshield + all around) of my brand new Model 3 Performance. Upon arriving, Myra, the co-owner, was extremely helpful and professional, and she provided me with a competitive and very reasonable quote.Rod completes all the work himself and does not outsource, and he did an incredible job. Rodz specializes in Tesla s and are intimately familiar with the cars, so you can trust them to take care of your Tesla, which are difficult cars to tint.I was extremely impressed with their turnaround time, quality of work, and professionalism throughout the process. As a perfectionist, I noticed zero flaws in their work and have received several compliments on how clean the tint is. Got my tint from these guys back in 2019 and had absolutely zero problems. Tint job came with a lifetime warranty that i never had to use, Tint still looks like it did when it was first installed. I just picked up my model 3, excited to get it tinted again hopefully next week.I highly recommended this place to anyone looking for quality work.

I've been going to Rodz for two years now and the quality and customer service is unmatched! My car has recently been in a few small accidents and Rodz was able to quickly and professionally reapply ceramic coating that was poorly done by the body shop. Additionally, the PPF completely protected my paint and once it was replaced my car looked BRAND NEW. So nice I had to do it twice. I got my Tesla Model Y done last year with LLumar IRX 50% FRONTS + 30% REARS + AIR 80 WINDSHIELD. At first I was skeptical about the heat rejection properties of the car but it definitely makes a HUGE difference. Unfortunately my windshield got a huge crack in it and I had to replace the windshield. After I replaced the windshield I had to get the Windshield redone and there was no question I was going to go back to Rodz Tint shop. Myra was extremely accommodating and helped me get a quote so my insurance would cover the cost of re-doing the windshield. She also got me an appointment on a busy Saturday with just 3 days notice. I sincerely appreciate their work/service and would not hesitate to recommend anyone.Services: Sun control window tinting, Heat control window films, Vehicle window tinting

Rodz is an amazing place, run by a wonderful team! I got my Tesla Model 3 tinted and PPF'ed, with great results. I had a tricky schedule to deal with and they were very accommodating. There is a truly family feel to Rodz that I don't think you see at many tint shops, so I felt right at home there. If I need to get anything done again, I'll definitely go to Rodz!

Excellent work They did exactly what I wanted! I have a 2018 pilot and they tinted every window including the windshield! I get completely on it almost every time I fill up with gas. I highly recommend Rodz. They aren t the cheapest but definitely worth every penny. They even let me have a loaner car while they made my ride amazing! Not sure what else to say. Great work, great customer service and great results!

Kelly and his crew are extremely professional and will advise you on which ever choice you make. I'm so happy I decided to take my 2014 Toyota Camry to these guys because their work is grade A and is very well priced!. Extremely knowledgeable and fast. highly recommend and sharing with all my friends. They also have a car loaner if you needed while they working on yours. Great!! First class tints AND unbiased advice. I have a car I was thinking about having the front windows tinted to fade from the back (already dark tint). Person I talked to (Myra I think her name was ?) was very knowledgeable and helpful!!! Enjoyed the visit and will definitely go back if I decide to do it. Very impressed!!

We were not sure of where to go for our first car tint. Was able to found Rodz tinting close to ours place. Myra was very helpful and happily answer all of our questions about tinting. In the end, we decided to tint our two cars: Honda Accord and Subaru Impreza. Rodz did a wonderful job on our cars. There was no bubbles or any scratches. I am glad I chose this place and happily recommends other this place.

I was doing my research and looking for a good tint shop in the los angeles area for my Model 3 when I found out about Rodz Tint Shop. Everyone had nothing but great things to say about them so I had to take a look for myself. I found their IG page and saw the numerous Teslas they were currently working on and have serviced in the past. I went ahead and took a chance and ended up bringing my car in for the Llumar IRX tint & PPF services.My whole experience at Rodz Tint Shop was unrivaled with any other shop I ve taken my other cars to. The staff, including the owners themselves were awesome and had great personalities. They thoroughly explained the different services and options they offered, and did not pressure you on purchasing or getting anything else you did not come there for. They were punctual from beginning to end and very organized. The rates for their services in combination with the quality of products theyoffered were unmatched with other shops in Socal. (DON T mistake them for Rods Tint Touch, as they re NOT affiliated with them at all.)The quality of work and service they provide at Rodz Tint Shop is second to none! I cannot be any happier with the end result of how my car turned out... just flawless. You can tell that they go above and beyond with the workmanship they put in every vehicle that goes through their shop. I highly recommend Rodz Tint Shop to all my friends and family. Thank you Jesse (owner) for taking care of my model 3 on Saturday! Came in for a clear bra and full tint all around including windshield. He gave me a great price and was able to squeeze me into his full day of appointments. His tint has a lifetime warranty and clear bra has 10 years (recommend this if you have a black car since the paint is so thin).

Not super visible , took me a minute to locate it. From the gate I really liked Myra (who helped me on the phone and once I arrived) and Rod, owner. Both were very funny and charismatic. The waiting area is totally decked out so you are entertained the whole time with options to watch anything on Netflix.... there are beverages and comfy seating. Nice and cool in there and if you are up for a chat Myra is more than obliging. Super sweet, helpful, and smart. She knows the biz. Most important is the quality of the job and it was amazing. Totally transformed my car. I am very pleased with it. Not too expensive but not cheap (cheap gets cheap). And he was done super fast. Highly recommend Rodz! I will go back for front windows when I have the cash to do it

I am so happy we went with Rodz Shop. Hands down they know Tesla. If you know you want a tint but not quite sure which , you will be given all the information and options. Our Model 3 came out fantastic. You will not be disappointed.

Rodz is definitely the way to go for window tint. Super clean job on my lancer. The price is very much more than fair for the quality and time it takes to do. And the people here are super chill guys.I recommend this place if you are looking to get your windows tinted. They have a variety of tints for your needs.

Just got my 2020 Model 3 tinted and chrome deleted from Rodz! Myra/Miraya was great, check out their Instagram page for daily photos of all their jobs and she was great communicating through IG with any questions.I m OCD when it comes to tint and my car, any touch ups you might need after the job they did not hesitate to get me back in there to make the adjustments I wanted.Great experience with awesome customer service!Services: Sun control window tinting, Privacy window films, Decorative window tinting, Heat control window films

Jesse and Kelly are both very kind, professional and helpful. They have the 3M brand tint which is very good quality. They weren't pushy about their sales, very honest and informative. I found a tint in my budget and they got it done within an hour! Love this place and definitely recommend it.

I had my car windows tinted to reduce heat and glare. What a difference! Even with a light tint the car is much cooler and looks great. Roger & Jesse are experts on the newest 3M products and offer wonderful service.

Got my Tesla Model 3 tinted here with 3M Crystalline all around including the windshield and glass roof. They did a terrible job overall. There are dust bubbles everywhere on all the windows and they said that is normal and blaming on the car windows and the film type I chose. They said that is the best they can do even after I had to bring my car back the second time. In fact, it was worse the second time around. What a waste of time and money. Obviously, I won't be going back here or recommending this place to anyone else.
