We have been very pleased each time we have brought our cars in for service or repairs. The quick and accurate diagnosis and then the fast turn around make trying car troubles all the less painful. The shop really is like a good doctor's office, friendly reception very clean waiting area and experienced professionals. Our cars have always returned running great and there are always little unexpected details that are dealt with in the process. I recommend them to all our friends.

My car happened to break down close to their shop. It could have been a very stressful experience, however Jack and his colleagues did a wonderful job: They figured out what is wrong with the car, organized a rental for me, and had everything fixed in less than 20 hours. They kept me updated throughout the time and offered alternatives. The price was exactly as announced. So, finally coming home today, writing them a review is the first thing on my list. Thanks guys!

Second Reveiw: 1/12/2017TL:DR - I honestly believe you can 100% trust these guys. You can feel comfortable the service is getting done the right way even when no one's looking.Man I gotta hand it to these guys I got my truck back after a 50k service plus their "engine tune-up" package and she feels butter smooth all over. Front brakes feel perfect, steering is smooth and I swear I'm not tripping the engine feels stronger and I've been getting about 1.3 mpg better on my daily commute. They always ensure I have transportation to wherever I need to go as well making me feel taken care of from start to finish every time I come here.Called them a few days later about sometime I forget to mention and within a day they have the part sourced for me and an availability to install it first thing in the morning so I can get off to work after. Really, truly a stand up business model Marc and Jack have going here.First Review: 4/22/2016Customers really come before business. I had an amazing experience with Dr.Import -- Special shoutout to Jack for being super friendly and positive. I sent my truck in to diagnose the classic "my engine is making a noise". Jack went the extra mile and called my factory warranty office and made sure I was taken care of under warranty and recommended in my best interest to take it to the dealer so I could take advantage of the free rental car. Well he was right, I had a rental car (free!) for 2 days. They saved me $501 by using the warranty and maybe $40-50 for the rental (I had free gas too). Thanks guys, you looked out for me and my truck and earned my trust!Also, I had my interior detailed while I was there. They did an AMAZING job. It looked so fresh and bright inside the cabin when I got it. The complimentary handwash was up to expectations as well. No swirls!

I have been coming to Dr Imports for 2+ years and have been very impressed. For example, today, I am at Dr. Imports for transmission fluid and timing belt service. Their certified master mechanic, Gustavo, offered to buff a deep scratch on my hood for FREE. That's amazing service! I have been trying to get that scratch off for months. Jack and Mark are also amazing. I have a missing screw on my key fob for years. Jack called all over OC and chased down the screw for my fob. Thank you, Dr. Imports/Volvo. You guys are the best!!When I moved to Orange County, I initially took my Volvo to 2 dealerships for service; I felt I got cheated both times. For example, back in 2012, I went to Volvo of Orange County because my airbag light lit. They reset the sensor light (e.g. pull out the fuse and pushed it back in..~3 minutes of work) and billed me about $200! Anyone can reset their own sensor lights. What I wanted was for them to check the air bag system and at least tell me why the air bag light came on, not reset the sensor, let me get into an accident, and hope my airbags deployed. They couldn't tell me why it came on. That's when I started searching for a good mechanic and found Dr. Imports.

Best service shop in all of fountain valley . The people are sew helpfull. Plus when I had my car worked on. They had Hertz to rent me a car so I didn't miss any of my appointments. They have a great team there Jack, Amy Marc and Lauren. Thank you for the services

Dr. Import gives me the best service ever! They are very honest, dependable, cover every option available, and know exactly what they are doing on any issue with my Volvo. In today's world, it is very difficult to find an honest mechanic who knows exactly what they are doing. But Dr. Import is one of those for sure! Thanks you Dr. Import! Vickie

Dr Import did an excellent job on my Lexus a 50,000 mile service. They also performed a multi point safety inspect. This I was very pleased to hear about since the brake pads needed to be replaced. After authorizing replacing the worn out brake parts. I received a phone call letting me know that my car will be ready by 5:00 p.m. that evening.Thanks Dr Import for a top notch job.

Brought my car in for diagnostics for intermittent engine stalling issue. I was informed upfront that the diagnostic process would cost $150. After 4 days I was told that the problems could not be identified, but they think a software update, which would cost $75, might fix the issues. I took the advice and gave the ok for the software update, but only to be informed later that the system software is up to date and an update is not needed. However, they still billed me the cost for the update. Don't think I'll go back there.

In 1994 my neighbor recommended DR IMPORT insisting "NO ONE cares like they do." I've been saying the same thing ever since my first visit! Everyone I've sent has been extremely appreciative finding trust & conscience in the world of auto repair & sales.The staff ALWAYS goes the extra mile in educating us to WHAT & WHY in repairs.The Nordstrom of auto service! I had been having problems with the dealer identifying and fixing a check engine light problem. Dr. Import took my car in and fixed the problem quickly and for much less than the dealer had charged me. Thanks to Jack and his team. Plus Dr. Import always was updating me on the progress.

Mark is excellent. This place had always dealt withe fair and honestly. Since I know a little about cars and like to see what their plan is, the ability to go into their garage is a huge plus.
