Went in for a complete brake job, rotors and brake pads. John and his team were was honest and knowledgeable with my BMW. He also spotted a couple noteworthy repairs for my vehicle that is going to save my butt in the future. Highly recommend! Prices are good.

John was an exceptional help. When I came in he was very straight forward and walking me through what needed to be fixed on my 2013 BMW 328i. His pricing was fair but definitely better than many other shops out there. I was able to take my car home and bring it back when the part came in which I was grateful for since some shops will keep your car until they have it done. His communication was great and on text responded very fast or even called me when needed. Awesome service! Quick, thorough, and reliable work was done. They fixed several problems with my 2014 bmw 750i. He explained what needed to be done, did calibrations and worked on some other parts that needed fixing. I m definitely making this spot my mechanic from now on. Cannot recommend this place enough, I'm someone who usually doesn't take their car into shops since I have a hard time trusting anyone and I can do most things myself. But in this case I had to take my wife's Mini in since I just didn't have time to work on it. Very pleased with the service I got, they told me exactly what was wrong (what I anticipated to be wrong), and another part that needed replacing at the same time while he was in there (pretty big job). Fair and accurate estimate (I called another place that works on minis and got basically the same estimate for the job). Helped me out with another issue the mini had while he was at it. And at the end (this was the part that sealed it for me) he took me aside and showed me all the old parts that had been replaced and where they failed. Also this big job was done so fast, getting the parts in and everything. I will recommend this place for anyone I know with mini's, BMWs, Mercedes and will definitely end up bringing my car back (it is a mini after all... Sigh)

My husband found John to repair my BMW and I couldn t be any more elated to have him as our permanent mechanic now. Honest and reliable and all around knowledgeable. He really feels like my awesome uncle who lets me know how to properly treat my car and helps every step of the way. I had major work that needed to be done on my 10+ years old car and it s driving better than when I purchased it used. I've used an independent BMW Service Center in the past, but here at John's Shop I was given the best service by far. I extremely recommend this shop to anyone that needs work on their BMW. They are professional not to mention very knowledgeable and the prices are very fair.

7/28/22 John did it again for the second time, great Job. I was receiving a drive train malfunction and check engine light on dash on my BMW 328i. Dropped off my car to John at 10am. Received a call from John at around 1pm it s done . Part was replaced and problem is fixed. This was my second time doing good business with John. Thank you John. 5/1/22 Great experience. I brought my BMW to John due to the good reviews. Shop is really clean. One day, the car is done. Clean work and good price compare to dealership. My 2013 Mini Cooper Clubman was smoking. I know that minis have issues and it's even harder to find a mechanic who actually knows how to work on them. I went to Google and John's Auto Repair came up. Went through his reviews and it looked good. Took my car to him and he worked on it. Got it back but it still was smoking a bit (not as bad). It was discussed that the valves might need to be replaced but of course it was a pricier job. Took it back and new valve, chain and a few things else...Yay fixed! I HIGHLY recommend John! Very nice, honest and affordable. Found my Mini Mechanic! BIG Thank You John!

John's Auto Repair Specialist pretty much says it all. I was treated with respect, kindness, professionalism, and he was knowledgeable and extremely helpful and honest. My car was done before he said it would be too. I've been with the same mechanic for over 20 years and due to my relocating and my Mini Cooper, John will be taking care of ally car needs. John is an honest hardworking mechanic and did an amazing job on my VW Jetta! He is very detailed and explained everything to me! He even stayed after closing so I could get my house keys that I left there lol. If you are looking for someone to trust with your European car seriously look no further. It took me awhile to find a genuine mechanic like him! Thank you John!!!

John is very professional he doesn't BS you, he shows you what he does and will get you real time quotes right there. He helped me when I was in a pinch today last second notice my radiator hose snapped off, turns out I had an oil leak that was causing other things to fail slowly. He replaced all the parts for a reasonable price. Definitely recommend using John For all your BMW needs. I'm definitely going back to him for more work I need done

He has been honest and given me an honest answer every time I have requested his expertise regarding my car repair needs. Recently John repaired my 2012 Audi within two days. I took my 2008 mini cooper to this shop on Monday afternoon. I didnt have an appointment. I was having transmission issues. He diagnosed the issue, my car needed a new clutch flywheel and pressure plate. He was honest affordable. He finished the job on Wednesday. It took him 2 days! John provided an absolutely pleasant auto shop experience. He helped me diagnose my BMW X5 twin turbo for any malfunctions, neededj repairs, and so forth, and was able to show me exactly where the repairs needed to happen. Transparent. He made the necessary repairs for a more than reasonable price noting his expertise and ability to deliver excellent results. I m very happy and I know I can drive a bmw comfortably with his care. The most trustworthy mechanic you'll ever meet!John has been servicing the cars in my family for over 15 years. His approach to diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs makes the entire process so digestible and stress free.John and his team will be 100% honest with you on what repairs are needed vs. what can wait a few more miles. I ve been taking my 2008 VW GTI to him for the past 11 years and I wholeheartedly believe that the only reason my car still runs with so much power is because of the kind of car John has taken when servicing my car.I ve had some big scares through the years. Blown gaskets, multiple oil leaks, failed cooling system, failed alternator, some bad electrical, shocks, brakes... the list goes on. John always advises me on what needs to be fixed now and what can wait. If he says you need to fix it, he s being honest and making the best suggestion to ensure the safety on your family when driving your vehicle. His service costs are just pain worth it.He ll do his best to shop around for parts too, which really helps when you have a European/German, as parts can be SO expensive.My boyfriend will now drive 50 miles from OC all the way to Fontana just to get his car serviced, because he knows he can trust John.Thank you John! I went to Johns repair for service, was very pleased with the prompt great service provided. I was quoted one price over the phone and after service was rendered the cost was slightly lower. Took my 2012 Mini cooper in for many things. Oil changes, brake pads, rotor replacements, and more. Throughout every repair John was very helpful, honest, and always did a great job. I'd highly recommend this shop!

This guy is great, he gives accurate quotes on price and wait time, he works fast and he specializes in German cars. He is a gem in fontana. It's very rare for a mercedes mechanic to be open on a Saturday, but that just shows he wants your business over the other guys who want to take the weekend off.

I recommend you go anywhere else. If you can push, drive, tow your car then anyone else. Having this facility work on your car is a waste of your money.

Called the shop. They said bring the car. Towed the truckin the price was $95 diagnosis. Once off the truck $120 . Talked with the father and he denied everything he said when l called. Heel , l decided to give the money to the tow truck and got the hell out.
