I was so incredibly impressed with this place. Everyone was extremely professional and friendly. The quality was top notch and the prices were fair. They completed all of the work in a very timely manner and even gave me a ride to and from work at no additional charge.Shout out to Scott who was very knowledgeable and kind. This will absolutely be my go to place for all my automotive maintenance needs!!

I was married to a top mechanic (deceased) for 30+ years so I feel like I know what could happen. Let me just say this , Shannon s is the best in terms of what is needed, what can wait or just general information. I bought my car new and took it in regularly for all Toyota servicing -it is a 2015 Toyota and never a major issue with regular maintenance. Love this place !

Performed beyond my expectations. Honest and thorough as well as fairly priced. They use technology with photos and data to summarize and show you the problems with your car so you know it s 100% accurate. I love that they have free loaner cars. The loaner cars are the reason I choose them in the first place and the reason I ll continue to use them as my go to auto repair shop. They always could get me in and out fast. They have recently doubled the size of their shop so you know they are growing and are in demand. I always want to do business with a business that is growing because you know they are pricing good service and results for their customers.

My family and I are new to the area and we drive ALOT. We have 2 vehicles that have given us some issues over the past year. We tried so many different shops and something was always off, forgotten work, over priced costs, long wait times ect. If I could give Shannon Family Automotive more than 5 stars I would. Our family is so lucky we have a reliable go to auto body repair shop now. No more cold calling or going from shop to shop disappointed. They where fantastic from the first phone call asking about availability and pricing for my husbands GMC. We got our suv towed in and they got to work on the issues swiftly. They even helped work on costs from suppliers and passed the savings on to us. Every interaction either in person or by phone was polite, honest and friendly. I can t recommend Shannon family automotive enough!

I have used Shannon Auto 4 times now for my Camry and Tacoma and will never go anywhere else again. They listen. They do not upsell or try to "mansplain" the issues to me and as a woman, I appreciate that. All aspects of my experience have been exceptional - it s fixed, you caught other repairs needed, done faster than anticipated, and staff interactions and communications were EXCELLENT! I appreciate that Scott was willing to text or call - what ever I preferred. He is the best! Most people approach auto repair with trepidation and fear over being overcharged for unnecessary work. Not so with Shannon. They have saved me $$$ twice by advising against unneeded services. Thank you! Service businesses of your conscientiousness, skill, and attitude are special. Great service from start to finish. It s refreshing in this day & age to deal with a company of integrity.

I have been going to Shannon Automotive for over 10 years and by far the best shop I have ever been to. They are reliable, trustworthy and always do their best to serve the customer. I have referred numerous people to Shannon because it s rare to find such a good place to service your vehicles.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming places clean and modern. I needed a few things done to my truck. Brake fluid replaced transmission fluid replaced. And had a noise that was coming from the engine periodically and of course it wasn t doing the noise when I brought it in. But the mechanic was able to find out what was causing the noise. They fixed the problem, which was my alternator change the fluids and I was on my way. Will definitely be coming back with my other cars for routine maintenance or whatever problems I have.

From the first phone call to schedule an appointment to the first interaction with their employees, it was so amazing customer service and professionalism. I never had such an amazing experience and customer service at a car repairs shop. I was so moved by their professionalism and well spoken employees that i told my wife that i almost cried because i was treated with so much respect and professionalism. They did amazing job on my car and they walked me through every detail of the work that they did and they need to do. As well i loved their texting technology and giving me the option to approve and decline work for my car right from my phone (not being hassle or rushed). I hilly recommend them. Shannon you did amazing training your employees. Keep up the good work

I am a 'newbie' to Shannon Family Automotive in Folsom, CA and was referred by a friend who had been taking their vehicle(s) there for years. The service and information that I received upon calling for a consultation was professional and the service I received by the advisor and technicians was helpful. Certain services were a little more expensive than I found elsewhere however, I appreciate that they 'back' their work product and services.

I ve gone to Shannon Automotive at the recommendation of Folsom locals. I had my brake rotors resurfaced and also had a whole list of recommended services that needed to be done. When I asked about how urgent any of these items were, they told me nothing needed to done today (the brakes were the exception), but plan to do them over the next 4-6 months. The tune up was the most expensive, followed by brake fluid change, transmission fluid change and a few other smaller items.I scheduled my service for today 12/4 and got a couple of texts in the morning one for a small discount on labor if I came in before 8am. Then later I got on me for 20% off. Since my car was already being worked on, i asked if they would honor the discount and they replied, well that only seems fair!I feel good about coming here, each of the service techs has been very communicative and help me understand what needs to be done, and they don t mansplain to me!They also said my car is running great and will be in good shape when I go to sell it in another year :-)

So hospitable, So Helpful, So honest! They were surprised when we told them our old 2005 Dodge Caravan made it all the way up to Ghost Mountain Ranch Resort and we camped out for 2 weeks during the 4th of July holiday! And now we have to get another updated van because our 2005 has to be put out into the pasture like an old horse due to a gasket leak! We made it there Twice but we have to remake reservations due to our van is not able for a 3rd trip. So we are looking at other options.

SHANNON FAMILY AUTOMOTIVE HONESTY AND TRUStWORTHINESSI used Shannon Family Automotive for the first time in December last year for a regular service on my Toyota Camry Hybrid after hearing some good words about their service so I wanted to prove it to myself about their honesty and trustworthiness. Their actual expertise is on Japanese cars especially Toyota and Honda but I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi that has only 41k miles because it is basically just our weekend vehicle. It has a bad leak on the power steering and it needed an oil change so I called Scott, one of their service adviser that I worked ( a super nice guy) with and I asked him if he can have it fixed and I was delighted when he said yes. I told him that there is no rush because I hardly drive that truck, he was happy because they were a kind of booked that day and he was going to call me about the repair later but he never did.THE PROOF OF THEIR TRUST AND HONESTYI received a message on my phone from Scott on the following day that my truck is ready and the power steering issue is not a big deal which is surprise. So when I came to pick it up and pay the bill it only showed the charges for oil change and he told me that they only have to replace a hose clamp. So asked why he is not charging me for it and he said it is not a big deal? This just show how honest and trustworthy Shannon family automotive s employees are, Scott in particular who just proved it to me and I have a feeling that it is across the board so I highly recommend them to everyone. Imagine if I took my truck somewhere else, I would have been had. I will be using them from now on. Thank you Scott for your good service and honesty! Oscar

Paul was excellent to work with, he was helpful in talking through the situation and did not even say anything when it was obvious I made a mistake fixing the car. The inspection was complete and included everything wrong with the car. The technician s diagnosis was spot on.

While I would still give five stars, it s not the same. We have been going there for years with our two Toyotas and when we called for an oil change this time, they couldn t find us in the system. No new phone number for us so I don t understand. Lots of new people but still get great service

I agree with the recent feedback on Shannon s - it s become over priced, they have become aggressive with upselling services and service quality has declined. This shop use to have a home town family owned feel. I had lots of trust in them and prices use to be less than the dealerships. My last couple visits have been questionable and uneasy for me.- They were recommending service on items not even near OEM schedules (like spark plugs at less than 75% of life).- Brake service priced at $500 per axle (this did not include new rotors, just the resurfacing). I asked about the ~$300 brake service coupon they offer, but was told that s only for basic service :( and you re pinned in at this point because they are charging for the diagnosis if you don t buy the service.- And the last transmission service I had left a puddle of trans fluid on my garage floor because the drain plug wasn t installed correctly - which they corrected - just a hassle to go back.I never thought I d say this, but I can t recommend Shannon s any longer. I miss the home town feel this shop use to have Services: Transmission, Brakes

During my latest B1 service appointment was told my battery test failed and should replace the battery. They didn t give me the battery test results in printout. I refused it as it was only 2 years old and was still under warranty.I took the car to Folsom lake Honda and auto zone for battery test. Both of them told me the battery is in good condition.Not sure how to trust their assessments in the future.
