I used to trust, Tony, the owner. Until the tall, fat guy in the office told me my battery was leaking on my two year old car! No such thing as a leaking battery I ve since learned! Charged me $100.00 and refused to show me the leaking battery! I wrote to Tony and asked to be refunded. Never heard back. They take advantage of single women there!

Great staff. Excellent and honest work. I left my car at the Kia repair center for five days and they never even got it on the lift. So I picked it up and took it here. They apologized because they wouldnt be able to call back until later that day with what they found . Just honest professionals

I commute to Folsom and had my brake lines blow out. They handled it all very quickly. Ordered parts through Ford right away and had it repaired early next day. Prices were reasonable. No complaints!

I took my car there once to replace a broken harmonic balancer on a Ford Explorer. They did the work correctly, at a reasonable price (not great /not bad). I went back again for something else but the guy who works up front (not a mechanic but customer service) was extremely rude and condescending. I've never returned and never will. This was at least two years ago so if that guy no longer works there in 2023 it may no longer apply.Service: Engine repair

It was our first time doing business with Personal Auto Care. I needed to get tires on my wife's car before the big storm, Personal Auto Care not only gave me a fare price, but installed the tires the next day. They were extremely nice and easy to work with. They will be our go-to service center.

Been coming on and off for years. My dad worked with Tony with years before he owned his shop. Tony's crew always has great service and gets things taken care of. I've never had an issue and they go above and beyond. Only downside is that they don't take American Express as of 2 years ago. My car is due for maintenance and I want to take it here but the Amex not accepted is a deal breaker. Hopefully they accept Amex card holders again!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Body & Trim, Brakes

Great auto care business. They repaired my Jeep on two separate occasions for two independent issues. My concern with mechanics is are they going to be fair and will they be honest, and the guys at Personal Auto Care are. And of course they do excellent work. Highly recommend

I was very grateful to have someone who is sensible to talk about my car repair process with. He put together a personalized quote for me at his own expense and helped me make a good decision going forward. I could tell Tony is an honest down-to-earth man.

My husband and I have all of our vehicles serviced by Tony and his crew. They couldn't be nicer, more professional or more fair. We highly recommend Personal Auto Care. Don't go anywhere else.

I had my traction control and ABS light turned on, took my car to them left it for 5 hours and they called said nothing was wrong with it and they said they did some electrical tape work on my car and charged me$120 and said the car should be fixed now, drove my car for a day and the lights came back on, called them again told them about the situation the guy is like we would charge you another $120 to do another inspection. This is the worst customer service that I ever seen, they just ripped me off for nothing.

Now I speak totally about Mr Lavagnninno I have known Tony for some 40 years and he has worked on a few of my vehicles and believe me. You can depend that the work has been properly done. And never have to wonder or worry as to whether the service has been properly done. I would not have any one else touch my vehicles unless it was bran new and had to go to the dealership but even at that case. I would much rather have Mr. Lavagnnino service it.

I finally found my service place. They actually talked me out of a repair that would cost me an additional $1,000 and told me I didn t need it. That told me all I needed to know. Nice people and easy to talk with. Best experience over ever had.

Got a flat on my way home and just so happened to stop here. The owner replaced the tire in no time and pumped my other tires as well(All past closing by the way). Very efficient, friendly, and kind.

This shop and its family of technicians demonstrates integrity, honesty, fairness, and genuine pride of work done. It's the only place I will use henceforth! What a refreshing switch from my FIVE return visits to Brakemasters Orangevale, where the problem was never fixed and the parts were inferior!!! Lesson learned.

Personal Auto Care is the best repair shop in the Sacramento area. Every time I bring my car to Tony's shop it comes out running better than it ever has!

I called around and found that my auto part wasn't readily available so I made sure it was there before any work was done on my car.....i needed to have my car back in one day....personal auto care refused to put the part i had found from a local auto parts store in my car because they insist on dealer parts only.... it would have been a simple thing for them to not guarantee the repair if the part i provided failed but they instead refused to do any repair work and as a result I ended up having to deal with not getting my repairs done in one day as I needed....

I took my car to them to do the oil change, left my car for 3h they called me and said ur car is ready, drove my car for 20min my oil pressure lights came on and I pulled over and checked my oil level and the car literally had no oil in it took my car back to them and they said they changed my oil and they were not gonna add oil to my car and they're going to charge me agin to add oil l've ended up paying for another oil change bc I couldn't drive the car I would not recommend this shop to anyone
