Hilarious and Honest! Reassuring people that make me feel comfortable leaving my most prized possession in their care! These guys gave me a good laugh in a scary time, and I left feeling good knowing my car was in good hands. They showed me exactly what was wrong and walked me through their plan to fix it. Definitely making Midas my primary provider for car care from here on out!

Where do I begin with the vending machine and Josh, Peyton's stories or James, and the giant peach doing the official ceremony of his newest clientele. It was quite the afternoon just to get an oil change at Midas. You walk in thinking how long this is going to take. Unfortunately, you walk out thinking that wasn't quite long enough. I need more time with Peyton. What other knowledge can I pick from his dirty little noggin and clean dawn hands. While Josh works on my oil change and every two minutes, he gets the munchies and comes in to raid the under stock vending machine. James does what he does best and gives free tours of the facility while giving a play by play of the pros and cons of each vehicle in the world. Nonetheless, on top of being experienced entertainers, they just so happen to know the ropes around vehicles as well. They spot something on my car that Hyundai dealership missed the day before in a very detailed inspection I had with them. Go figured a dealership that specializes in Hyundais wasn't that great in specializing after all. But Midas saw it just by a visual. Well, Mr. Munchies did. It pays to snack before and after and perhaps during just like Popeye did! Josh, you are my Popeye, and my car is your Olive Oyl! Hyundai, you are Bluto!!!

I brought my vehicle in after experiencing exhaust fumes in the passenger compartment and suspension concerns. Not only were my concerns addressed, James worked late to get it back to me. I appreciate the casual professionalism, work ethic and honest provided. This was my 2nd occasion to use their services. The 1st experience brought me back. Their rate are competitive but their work ethic will keep me returning. Thank you, James and Midas.

I don t recall his name, but he was extremely professional and apologetic when I hard part issues (at no fault of his shops). His customer experience skills were fantastic and he had his team stay late so I can get the wife s car back. I ll have to add a comment once I find his name. He even noticed my other care had a bad brake light. Had me pop the trunk and replaced it for free in 3 seconds!

James was great . I had to work with him to address a manufactures issue with a rotor /pad combination for my wife s car. He was professional , patient in describing the problem , and was quick to address the issue without giving any excuses. He worked with me during myltiplr visits to take care of the problem . I will recommend this Midas Site for my friends .

Expensive Air conditioning service that was/is not done right. Immediately after repair, the air was not was not working. then starting working, Still having issues where the air does not work, then it does... when it does; the air flow is intermittent. I had a warranty of 90 days to bring my car back, but I didn't want to chance it with more issues to arise if I took it back in. Will take my car to Volvo to have them fix the work that was done at this location. In addition, my car was held hostage at this shop for 2.5 days... Zero stars but I had to click 1 to post this information. Completely Unsatisfied with the Work and money I paid for Extremely Terrible car service.

They rock. No appointment, they changed the oil, confirmed my concerns on brakes and rotors. Followed up with phone calls and quotes. Had me out the door same day.Jeff and his teammates exceeded expectations. I highly recommend, nice job!

James and Mike were so helpful and kind. Very upfront and transparent with what my car is going through. They really made the experience for me. As for the actual work on the car. I came here about 2 months ago for an oil change before driving back home to LA and received excellent service!James, the manager, is a very smart, knowledgeable, honest and kind professional. This location and James in particular, weregreat. He was so helpful. We made an appointment online and they called us the same day. James and Payden were solid in addressing my transmission concerns and through in assessing the situation. They were patient, and showed general consideration into how they were handling it. I got an explanation of what they were doing, what they were looking for and how they were doing it every step of the way.I really appreciate what they did. I have taken my car to two different dealerships and paid a bunch of money only to just receive lazy excuses and basic OBD scans, which I've already done myself. These guys went above and beyond, and even saved me from spending money that I didn't need to. Thank you!!

I've mostly only come here for brakes but this time I came in for an oil change. A few days later, I noticed my car was running hotter than usual so I brought it back in. James was quick to diagnose the issue based on what I told him, and he was right.I got my thermostat replaced and now my temp gauge holds steady exactly where it should be. He also gave me some very insightful advice about the general condition of my car and was very professional and helpful.Services: Engine repair, Brakes, Oil change

I have been coming to this location for almost 7 years (total). I brought 3 different vehicles to this Midas. I dont recall who worked there previously, but I have nothing but great things to say about the current Manager James, and Mike (who is usually working the counter when I've been in there). James and Mike both have fantastic customer service skills, and are very engaging and personable! Even when I would bring my (high functioning autistic) son with me, the questions never seemed to be too much for these guys, and that is always appreciated as a parent. I never once felt like I was getting ripped off or as though I was getting the run around , which is almost unheard of since I very clearly know nothing about cars!I would recommend this location to anyone who asks where I go for oil changes, based on the customer service alone! I took my 4Runner in a few months ago and had my struts replaced. The same symptoms my suv was having back then is back but worse! I took my suv into another shop because it logistically worked for me at the time and they told me that Midas used o Reilly parts instead of OEM parts (Toyota parts) - this is important to note because the amount of pressure that s placed on those parts is too heavy for o Reilly parts especially considering I drive up and down hwy 50 because I drive 2-3 days between Folsom and Pollock Pines. This is a safety issue and it s frustrating that a company is profiting at the expense of people not being aware that cheap parts are being used. I travel for work and rely on my vehicle to safely get me to and from home and when a company isn t operating out of integrity that s concerning. I m scheduled to have them fix it this Saturday so we ll see if they do the right thing in making sure they replace it with quality parts. Why does it take all this for a company to do what they should have done the first go around!Proceed with caution if you take your vehicle here!

From the moment I spoke to James on the phone at Midas, he was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The brakes on my Pathfinder had been grinding and I had a 600 mi drive to do the following day. He was able to squeeze me in and allow me to wait in the lobby with my dog as well. He was very polite with a good sense of humor and was very honest and straightforward about the work being done and gave good advice on proactive preventative maintenance going forward. I was at Midas for breaks about 2 weeks ago for the first time. money is tide right now I didn t want to pay the dealership price. and I just want to say it was a really good experience. Price was good and MIKE is so personable, you can tell he goes to work to have a good day. HONESTLY he makes me feel just want to drop off the dealership for good.

Excellent workmanship and service.I've brought all three of my vehicles here for varous maintenance over the past 15 years or so. This Midas has always done great work.The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and thier prices are fair for the work performed.I'll continue to bring my cars here as long as they keep up the great work.

The review is well deserved! I cam in on September 30th in tears because my check engine light came on with white smoke coming from under my hood. This review is very important to me because I live in Folsom and I work as a general manager in Pleasant Hill. James immediately greeting me with tears rolling down my face in panic! James understood the assignment, he told me to take a deep breath and tell him what going on with my vehicle. After I explained my scenario, he said no worries and he will figure out what the problem is and provide me an estimate immediately so I can make it in to work that day. A few hours later my vehicle was up and running!!! And the price was affordable!THANK YOU MIDAS for hiring great staff and having James to assist your company name in such a great and positive way!!!!!

I had a GREAT experience here at MIDAS in Folsom! They fixed my serpentine belt and it was super affordable! They also had a sense of humor, were super quick and very affordable! No complaints!! Thanks for your great service! I will be back!!

Called this Midas to get a quote on having a catalytic converter installed. They said they were pretty busy and asked if they could call me back the next day to which I said yes. After waiting over a week, I called them back and asked for the same service and l let the person I talked to, James, know that I had called the week before and had gotten no return call. He apologized and stated he would have to call the manufacturer to check on availability but promised to call me back the same day. The next day, after receiving no call, I called them back and was told by James the catalytic converter I needed was not available. Its not their fault for the unavailability of the cat but their lack of returning my calls is just poor business. I will not say "don't do business at this muffler shop", I'll leave that up to you. But I know I'll never call them again for anything.

Midas helped schedule me quickly for an appointment, had my car ready faster than I expected, and provided reasonable pricing for great service. Customers get the benefit of reasonable pricing because of a larger company, with local mechanics who care for their work and are thorough.
