First of all the place was so clean and filled with welcoming information. The two people working in the office were friendly and helpful. I went in to Eric s to get a Ca smog check on my car. I was able to get in immediately. I sat down watched a little TV on their big screen TV, read through some emails and boom they were done! If you have to get smog checked in the Fallbrook area this is the place to go! Quick, inexpensive and friendly!

Hands down! Eric s shop is one of the most professional auto repair shop in fallbrook. Great staff and great service! My check engine light and ETC light came on and after taking it to a few places it kept turning back on within the next day or week. I was able to get an appointment in at Eric's and I'd like to mention customer service was amazing the entire experience. They send updates through texts as an option and are very detailed with their updates. It took a couple of weeks for this specific issue because of the electrical testing and test driving. Which I actually prefer because I knew they were being thorough with it and making sure it wouldn't continue to be a problem. I'd say it is definitely worth every penny to bring your business here. They are very honest and I'd like to mention as well that if you have any concerns afterwards they are willing to take a look at it again. My review is based upon my first phone call with Eric.We briefly discussed an auto electric issue. Eric gave me the time to explain what was going on. When I asked for a diagnostic estimate, Eric did something amazing... he was HONEST!!! He admitted that his technician could possibly find the issue in a certain amount of time but could not guarantee that time frame. Eric went on to recommend another shop in the area that specializes in automotive electrical repair... not just a recommendation but a mechanic he would trust to diagnose his vehicle.I am confident, based on this conversation, that Eric is not out to gouge a customer for money. He is a person with integrity.If I ever need a mechanic to work on my families vehicles, I will call Eric FIRST!Service: Electrical

When my wife and I moved to Fallbrook, my wife went looking for a new mechanic and she found Eric s based on the professionalism of Eric and his staff. Now many years later, we recently moved to Pismo Beach and she went looking again for a quality mechanic. Yesterday I took my 230,000 mile Toyota in for service at the new shop and the owner stopped me when I came to pick up my car and he told me that his mechanic had him come out and look at my car and the owner told me, My mechanic and I both agreed, your car is the nicest and in the best shape of any car we have ever seen with this many miles on it . I told him, "for many years I had an awesome mechanic taking excellent car of my car". That shop was Eric s Precision Autoworks and Eric watched over my wife and I s vehicles as if they were his own. Have been using Eric (and his father Peter before Eric took over) for many, many years. We have always been very happy and pleased with the way they have served us and serviced our vehicles. This is one of those rare businesses who Do It Right and Do It Well. Eric's treats you like family, being up front and honest. They take pride in their work, putting heavy value on getting it right the first time and are transparent in their process. After over a decade of being a client, I can say the management and crew are all upstanding individuals who will work hard for YOU, and I respect them very much for that. Eric's has serviced three of my vehicles over the past three years and I have always been impressed by the professionalism and expertise exhibited by everyone there. I don't dread taking my cars in for a simple oil change because I know they aren't going to take advantage of me by making up some phony 'issue' that really isn't a cause for concern. I love the small-town vibe - Chief knows who I am when I walk through the door, and the shop is always clean, with plenty of coffee and magazines on hand (or I can catch the news on their big screen). Very glad we switched from Meineke back when we did. Eric's has definitely earned my trust and respect.

Always the best service. I brought my car in this week because I was having issues with my breaks. I'd had it to the dealership earlier but they said nothing was wrong and sent me on my way. When it happened again I brought it to Eric's to check out they found it was a bad master cylinder.I took it back to the dealership because it was under warranty and they finally replaced it.I trust the guys at Eric's to take good care of my vehicles. They're the best!

Treated me and my twenty-year old Silverado like someone with a valuable vehicle. Did just what I needed first visit, some serious smog work to make it pass. Later handled pulling the dash apart to get into hard to replace A/C control motors. Since been back with the truck with fresh paint, new body trim, interior work, really cleaned up since Eric got it running so sweetly...had 'em do the suspension work to lower it a couple of inches, plus go through the brakes. Did a grand job, and found the brakes needed less than I anticipated-only did what was needed. Worked magic on our van with electrical ravaged by rats. Very pleased with the bill.Treated well, work done excellently. Fair prices, not cheap, but things get done right the first time. You get what you pay for. Eric runs a tight, very clean, honest shop with good people who are happy to be there. Can't miss I don't think.

If any consumer could get what they paid for it would be acceptable... I found this to be true with Eric's, his prices are premium, but his shops work and warranties are well above today's the standards of most other shops today. Basically if I have to flinch when I open my wallet, at least Eric's is for a good cause.

Eric is honest and gets the job done. You will always want to come back. The staff is friendly and the shop is really clean too! We moved across the country and I wish we could bring this shop with us to work on our cars. I highly recommend them to anyone that's looking for a good mechanic.

I'm a retired career mechanic and shop foreman. I'm VERY picky about my vehicles and who touches them.When I discovered wheel bearing noise coming from my '99 Chevy Tracker I carefully researched area shops, called Eric's, and made an appointment for the next morning.They treated my opinion with respect, didn't try to talk me into doing more than was necessary, allowed me to figure out my options, quoted me a fair price, and gave me a plan. When I picked up the car it was done right, done on time, and stuck to the estimated cost.These are great people. They do great work. I'll be back.Don Thompson

Chief and the guys are the best there is. Courteous, knowledgeable, and fair. The place is clean and inviting. They have always been done with my vehicles in a timely manner. I am basing my review on my 50+ years experience in the automotive repair industry. You may have a different experience, but that's mine.

I took my truck into Eric s about 3 weeks ago to have it looked over and to receive a simple estimate on tires and an alignment. The technician who helped me that day was very polite and helpful. The man at the front desk said he d have an estimate for me by that afternoon. Three days later I called back and the man said I haven t gotten around to it yet. I ll let you know this afternoon. Well three weeks later here we are and I have still not received a quote. I have since taken my business elsewhere. The only reason I m even giving this place 2 stars is for the technician who helped me on the day I went in. If you don t feel comfortable working on someone s vehicle you should just say so and not have them waiting in limbo for 3 weeks!

I brought my car in for an oil change and to have the differential fluids changed. I was putting off a transmission service due to funds. When I picked up my car, the guys here told me that they were able to do the transmission service anyways because the diffs and transmission were housed in the same location (at no extra cost)....they didn't have to do this, I wouldn't have known any better, and they could have charged me separate costs, but they have integrity! Absolutely recommend them.

We've been going to Eric's for years now and they've won our business for life! Eric's is trustworthy, reliable and fair. Their mechanics are knowledgeable and precise. As a female customer, I appreciate that when I go to Eric's, I don't feel at all intimidated. Eric is always happy to take the time to explain any issues with my vehicles and answer any of my questions with honest answers. They have never pressured me to have any extra work done on my cars, the way every other place I've taken my cars to for oil changes have done. This business is such a huge asset to the Fallbrook and Bonsall community. I would (and do!) recommend Eric's Precision Autoworks to anyone looking for an honest and friendly business to take care of any of their auto needs.Jen Healey

Went into Eric's to get my air conditioning fixed and sooner than later my husband and I noticed fumes coming out of the vents... When i told the owner Eric, he accused me of the time difference between the last visit and now, like half of America didnt lose their jobs... The carbon monoxide coming through my vents could harm my family and I. And the owner Eric cared less. I would not recommend this shop.

Excellent service and price! The employees are very fast and reliable. I took my wife's 08 Aveo in for a new timing belt, serpentine belt, pully, and water pump. It took about 6 hours for them to get it done, and with a military discount of 10% it cost me about $500.00. The work also came with a 1 yr warranty. My wife has been driving the car for 2 months since the work was done with no problems at all. I couldn't have been happier with the whole experience. This place is the best around!!

Good work, no runaround. They're busy because the work is quality and you can trust what they say. Might take a few days but they won't rip you off and the work is solid. The owner is always around and usually the man you speak to as a customer. That right there should tell you everything.

I brought in my truck because it was driving bumpy, had check engine sign on... it just needed to be checked out because it obviously needed work to be done. At Eric's Precision Autoworks, they took care of my truck and gave me a loaner car for the day. The work was done to my satisfaction. My 2006 truck is running like new. Thank you.
