I went in to get my car registered, during the conversation I kept asking about fees or additional charges and felt like my question was being avoided. Finally I get her to print out a list of what i m paying for but the additional service charge and credit charge were NOT included on the list. So I go to pay and when they ring me up theres $60+ of additional charges. I decide to walk and give the DMV a call and they tell me they wouldn t have these extra credit and service fees. I was planning to go to the DMV anyways the next day to get a new license so i decide i ll just kill two birds with one stone and handle it all there. The lady texts me the next morning asking when im going to come in and pay and i tell her my plans have changed. She then proceeds to keep texting me and harrassing me saying i owe them money and guilt triping me saying im stealing from a family business. They are also sending notices to an address of a family member where I dont even live, but used as a temporary address while I was in the middle of a move. I have EVERY right to change my mind about a transaction up until the point of payment. Shady business practices and they were not upfront with me but decided to process the registration without me paying first which is extremely unprofessional to process something without my payment. Just because i say im going to pay does not mean i am not allowed to change my mind about a transaction, especially when they did not tell me about the fees up front when I asked.

Posting this on Google, as well as Yelp...I was skeptical to use this location as some of the reviews are contradicting, but...THEY WERE WRONG. Kara is amazing! She helped me with a title transfer last week, and was extremely friendly and witty--great customer service rep.!!

To be honest I didn t have a good time with them. It s an older lady with a younger lady working there when I went. Older lady was fine but I didn t have too much interaction with her, but the younger lady was really shady and like just didn t make you feel like you were welcomed. Looked at me with a certain look that you would give someone if you were judging them. I d talk and there would be moments she would just ignore me or pause for a bit then speak. She seems like she has an attitude with men based on reviews and what I experienced, because when I went there was a female customer in front who talked really nice with them, but when I went up and introduced myself and explained it to them she just really had this attitude. Overall they get the job done but poor service mainly by the younger blonde lady. Especially in the phone call, really defensive and has an attitude. She s like a angry college student who s entitled to whatever she thinks she rates.

I had been there before and it had been great. This time I went in to register a car from out of state and the receptionist turned me away telling me that I needed additional paperwork. In short I had to drive out to the DMV, it turns out I had all the required documents and because they were all notarized I didn't need a bill of sale since I had the title as well. She was 100% sure I needed the bill of sale , but I had already done my research prior to heading into the office.

What a wonderfully pleasant experience here at California Auto Registration! Kara was extremely friendly and both young ladies were so helpful and down to earth. It was quick and easy and well worth the reasonable price to avoid the hassle at the DMV! Thank you!

This is a great family owned business! Kara was able to answer all of my licensing questions which resulted in me actually saving money!! They are great people and I will absolutely be back with any future registration needs.

Before I ever went here I went to other places in town to ask about how I could put my name on the title of a car that I bought from this lady who's mother name was on the title but her mother had passed away. Everyone else said that it could not be done. But this gentleman did know and he helped me. I am now am a loyal customer. He knows the in and outs of DMV and he does not know he will find out for you. Really nice place and great service.

LOVE This place ! Never wait at the DMV again....when you can pay someone to stand in line for you and get things done ...super friendly...wait time is only 10 to 30 minutes when they are packed! OTHERWISE it takes 5 minutes ! I have 7 cars, 2 bikes in my household and I would get rid of 5 of them if I had to visit the DMV once a month for 9 months out of the year!

Not trying to play the race card but I walked out, from the start she was very rude. If I m paying for a service I expect to be treated right.. I won t give my money to a place that ll make me feel a certain way. I wish I could ve had a better experience

Very Friendly and attentive staff. We moved here and had to register our vehicle from out of state. Service was great - we'll be back to get the rest of our vehicles registered!

In and out in less than 5 minutes. Clean building, air conditioned, and no waiting in line at all. Extremely professional and attentive staff, happy to help and answer questions. Definitely recommend!

Should of gone here instead of all auto registration !! Now I have to wait 2 days to get my sticker!! Instead of getting it right here and then! If you want your registration sticker after you pay come here if not go to all auto registration !

New plates, new registration, new tags in no time flate. Not cheap but better than spending 3 hours in that DMV pit.
