Disappointing experience at this truck repair shop. Despite claiming to offer semi-truck service over the phone, they were unfamiliar with it when my driver arrived. The service was also pricey, and their tardiness added to the frustration. Communication and expertise need improvement.

I do recommend this service center to other RV'ers.My 2005 Cat C7 Fleetwood Expedition Motorhome (91k miles) experienced low power, intermittent check engine light and worn bushings on the sway bar. Jim Buell the GM was able to get it in right away and within a few days they determined a cracked turbocharger, with failed wastegate rod. It was in the shop from July 27 - September 3, 2021.I received good communications & updates (I did have to ask a couple times for updates, but Jim got right on that).It took quite a while to troubleshoot & repair failed components but overall, I am very happy with the service and cost of the repairs.When picking up the coach it was clean and ready to go. Jim had explained the work completed in detail. Overall received a good experience.Again, I recommend this service center to other RV'ers.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic

North Bay Truck Center did an efficient and excellent job in installing/replacing the hardware/kit to my delivery-truck's custom back roll-up door. Everyone that I dealt with there was helpful, courteous and aimed to solve my truck's repair. They even fully washed and detailed the truck and cleaned inside the cab as well; an extra bonus that I was not even expecting. I definitely recommend North Bay Truck Center as a keen top-notch repair shop!

A fantastic company. Everyone is so nice and helpful. They work quickly and Juan even helped me get a hotel room while working on my truck. They offer popcorn and coffee and have charging ports in their waiting area. It is smaller but very comfortable. Have used them numerous times for various different things and they have always done great work. Can t recommend them enoughServices: Transmission, Battery

I have a 2011 Chevy diesel 4500 passenger bus converted to motor home. They were able to squeeze me in and take care of some engine issues, windshield wipers, new tires and more. They looked over my new home and gave me the peace of mind to drive it all over the country. I've had my bus in at least 3 times in between my travels. Took my recreational vehicle over for a service ? Main guy was Jim buell I gave him oil and filter I need changed also tires rotated if possible came to pick my vehicle and it had been hit on the side baby damaged also same side wheels and tires badly damaged ? The inside had been tracked in motor oil all over my new rv damaged no hood not cleanable ? Jim buell denied all problems saying they did not do ? We are now seeking damages

They did extensive repairs to my 1993 F350 4x4 diesel crew cab. They are pricey and they told me that up front, but gave me a Military discount. There work on such an old needy truck was above and beyond. Professional, thorough, done right the first time. I would trust them to do a good job well worth the money for the piece of mind.

Our 2014 motorhome that only has 12k miles on it would not start. After many failed attempts to diagnose it ourselves we ended up having to have it towed to NBTC. From the moment it arrived Jason was amazing!! Sadly our motorhome needed a whole new engine, which we had a good sam ESP warranty to cover. NBTC went above and beyond taking care of us a dealing with the disaster that is good sam. I literally could not have been more satisfied with my service and level of communication . Thank you so much.

Checked Rv engine changed oil and filters. They also sent Big Earl to tow the rig to their shop. The Rv was in a busy parking lot with very little room to get out of the lot. He managed it just fine. They provided great timely service. We have used Ford garages in the past and they didn't compare to the service we got from North Bay.

The guys there are great, professional and knowledgeable. The ladies in the front are awesome, kind and willing to show you the computer screen while they're searching for something you may want, to make sure its what you had in mind.My experience with North Bay truck center was one of the best mechanics shop experiences that I've had. They repaired my '16 Kenworth and did a great job. They are in a small neighborhood and have a satellite parking area for trailers. When my tractor was done they called to say they had a driver available and could go get my trailer if I wanted. When I came to get my truck they had washed it, wiped down the inside of the cab, cleaned the inside of the windshield, cleaned my floor mats, and had even shined the tires! I've been driving for 23 years and have NEVER had this level of service. Kudos to Juan (service manager) and the guys!

My driver went to this place and the people in this are so amazing. They did an exhaust and engine diagnostics on my 2015 Freightliner box truck and ended up not charging us for it. Juan is also very good in handling customers and my driver was very satisfied with their services. Northh Bay Truck Center is also known for competitive prices that complement with their high quality services.Services: Exhaust, Auto engine diagnostic

My 8 year old Class A RV is built on a Ford chassis and trouble lights were illuminated. I live in the Bay Area and I wanted diagnosis by a Ford dealer, but ended up in Fairfield as I was unable to find a closer dealer willing to work on a 30' long RV.The Ford dealer was unwilling to even look at the dashboard air conditioning, but finally diagnosed that the transmission was failing and illuminating the trouble lights.Seeking a second opinion, I happily ended up at North Bay Truck Center. They confirmed the diagnosis and installed a Ford remanufactured transmission. They were also able to repair the dashboard air conditioner and got the smog inspection which was due.I highly recommend Jim Buell, Mike Gillis, and Juan Arellano. I trusted what they were telling me and they better understood how to handle my rig.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic, Air conditioning

These guys are awesome. They're a little bit pricey, but they do an excellent job quickly on your truck. They also provide a ride to the nearest hotel if you'd like while you're truck is being repaired. Pleasantly they also wash your truck and make it look all pretty when they're done. These guys also provide Road assist and are able to help you if your trailer is stuck on the side of the road somewhere

I take my Motorhome to North Bay Truck Center for all chassis service, including smog testing. They are thorough and efficient. The service writers are helpful and friendly. At this time (January 2022), Motorhome labor rates are $169 per hour, which I feel is fair. They have a comfortable waiting lounge with TV, recliners, fresh fruit, popcorn, soda and snack machines. I really like this place. Great location, too. This is a rare find in the Bay Area.

I went in today to get 2 trailer tires replaced. I have an odd ball size so they only had Chinese brand. That was fine. Tires were cheap and fair priced. That was a good part. So I go to pick up my truck and they did the two tire changes and I m looking at my invoice and they charge me almost $300 in labor to change tires. I bought a lot of tires in my day and never once been charge for ShopRite to change tires usually on a semi tire when you have to do it by hand it s anywhere from $30-$50 a tire. Also said the tech took two hours to change to tires which I find a little bit ridiculous. So I m tires they cost $500My shop bill was $1000 for two tires a cost $260 a piece that is an absolute rip off I will never be back and anybody who needs tires in the California area I will send them completely the opposite direction of these folks

My experience with North Bay truck center was one of the best I ve had. Right from the way they speak to customers on phone to how they offer services. I particularly was impressed by a service representative called JUAN, he was very kind, courteous and knowledgeable! I will definitely go back to North Bay!!

I came in from Massachusetts and needed a service at 7,000 miles. they were friendly courteous prompt and did a fantastic job. I have a 24 foot RV with a Chevy 4500 and the complete service switching to synthetic oil was under $400. They also service and change the oil in my generator. Great people I highly recommend

My experience at North Bay Truck Center in Fairfield was a very good one. Juan, Tyler, and the rest of the crew could not have been nicer, or more accommodating. We called this company for the road service and they get our truck towed to their shop charging USD 800, kept our truck for the whole weekend Saturday / Sunday. Started working on our truck on Monday morning.The part which is only USD 90-100 at the freightliner dealership and which is a hose coming out of the air compressor which usually take max 1 hour. Even maximum 2 hours to fix. They charged us USD 120 for the hose and 8 hours of LABOUR to put just 1 hose in the compressor. The total bill including towing and changing a 100 dollar hose was approx USD 2000.A layman can easily tell the sound is coming from this hose and its leaking from here. Don't know why they took 8 hours of labour to put just 1 hose on the truck.Please BEWARE from these kind of shops who takes extra advantage of the stuck drivers and people to make handsome amounts and bills. Upon checking they just keep the truck as a hostage until you will not pay them.

Maybe this is the California standard, but had brought a Mack Truck here at 2pm one day asking for a PM service as well as a basic inspection as i'd be driving the vehicle across the country. Was told it couldn't be done at the time i was there and could be done first thing in the morning if i left it with them, probably take 3 hours or so. Fine. Left the truck.Next day, i call to check in at about 1030AM (3.5 hours since opening) and I am told they are "just finishing up the oil change" and it is brought to my attention it could use tires. We talk tires, we add tires to the list, it'll take a couple hours longer, ok fine. I assumed things therefore got inspected and i'll be squared away by noon maybe 1pm. 12:30 pm rolls around and i have to leave the hotel per their check out time, so i walk to the shop. I get there and we havent even GOT the tires yet. I sit around until 6 pm (after their hours) when they finally wrap up doing tires. Then it is brought to my attention we didnt have time to get an inspection done yet, nor the other little things i asked to do in the beginning (Wire in e-log box, screw the gauge cluster back to the dash board, investigate 2 cigarette outlets that weren't working.) BUT if i want to bring it by in the morning they'll do it....Absolutely not. They had my truck 11 business hours (not counting the prior afternoon). They got an oil change done, fuel filters, and 8 tires. I've had more done by road side assistance in less than half the time. Paid my bill and got the hell out of there. If you dont have anything to do for 2 days, then go ahead and stop here. The work they did, DID get me across the country. But by god are they slow and pokey about getting things done.Services: Tires, Oil change

This is a great shop to have work/repairs on your rv done. They came through in a pinch for me today and this was the second time they bailed me out. This time they took me right in and fixed me up all while the wife and grandson were in the coach. Really great customer service. I brought a 40 year old vehicle in to trouble shoot some vacuum lines/ignition issues. The crew at North BayTruck Center was awesome and sorted out the problems in no time. Got extensive work done on the chassis of my rig and practically got my steering rebuilt,new shocks,new tires,and an alignment. The steering was horrible and the ride was unbearable. I thought it was normal until I went on my RV forum and discovered it wasn't supposed to be that way. North Bay Truck Center did a fantastic job on my rig and it drives like a dream. What a difference. Been across country and it's been a great drive so far.

Had a road call from this company I approved $300 dollars for a jump start. I was billed for 4 hours and 4 batteries that were not approved and received a bill for $1,300 dollars. The other bad thing is from the time I called to the time I got the bill was less than 3 hours but I was billed for 4 hours.. I was told by this shop that I should just be happy they got the truck going??? I was also told that they are the only ones in this area so I did not have a choice but to call them so this is the reason they can do what they want
