Took my wife s Cadillac XT 5, to Dick s muffler for a small job. I bent the right side back tail pipe pretty bad on a in ground barbecue pit. Highly recommend Richard. Did a great repair job on our exhaust. Very reasonably priced as well. Richard s a lifetime Fairfield native as well. Fun to chat with. Thanks Richard. From John B

Great experience! Richard was professional and well informed. Needed a catalytic converter replaced for smog. Reasonable prices, great service. Locally owned and operated business that's been here since the late 60's.

I've had a lot of work done on my cars by various shops, sometimes paying twice to have things done right. This shop does the best work I've seen over and over again. Prices are fair, service good, work excellent. I'd definitely recommend...

I appreciate your honesty and the repair you done on my vehicle with the Cadillac converter which pass all the smog test, and the quickness you done it in. Had a leaking exhaust, and no idea where it was comming from. He had me on a lift in less than 5 minutes and told me exactly what was wrong. He also took the time to help me source a CA legal replacement to save me on cost!

Honest!!!! You really shouldn't be going anywhere else. Been around a long time. Affordable work.. Free estimates. ((Pulled in to inquire about cat replacements.. he said "you dont need new cats!! You just need to tighten some things down.")) He wasnt trying to pull money out of my pocket. He showed me where my issues were and told me what to do to fix it. He then said if I didnt want to do it myself he would take care of me. His quote was only a fraction of what I was planning to fork out!!

I would definitely recommend this shop to anybody with any type of vehicle. He works on all brand. I brought in my 2006 C55 AMG and Richard did an awesome job I would definitely bring back my vehicle if I needed anything else.

Came down from Oregon for work with my 92 civic lx. Had a bad flange and running straight pipe. Smell was horrible and it was loud. Richard got me right in and put a new catalytic converter on, new flange and even replaced a piece of pipe that had a big hole in it. He did a great job and fast. The price was reasonable. Will definitely bring him my business if I need exaughst work again.

I purchased a set of headers and full exhaust system from Banks Inc. I then needed to find a shop to install them on my 1996 Ford F-250 7.5L truck. I checked with several shops and my request was refused due to the reputation of the exhaust bolts breaking on those Ford engines. Dick's muffler shop offered to do the job at a reasonable cost if I could leave the truck for a few weeks. As expected they ran into many fitment issues and had to shorten the pipe going to the EGR valve, move the threaded hole to allow the front Oxygen Sensor to reach the exhaust system and as expected they needed to drill and tap the heads due to many head bolts breaking during removal of the original exhaust manifolds. I gave Dick's muffler shop five stars for their willingness to take on my project and completing the work in under two weeks at a reasonable cost. The truck runs great and I am looking forward to it having more power to pull my fifth wheel trailer this summer. Thanks Dick's.Neal Randles

Called around got the runaround from other shops called this Dick's said he can take menow and change my Cadillac converter out took care of me with an hour and a half and I was on the road. great service, quick service& Great price it was a great deal will definitely come back

Called in to have a full Z06 exhaust installed on my corvette which currently has a bad cat. Whoever answered the phone said that installing a used catalytic converter is ILLEGAL(!?!), which isn t true, before promptly hanging up on me.They may do decent work, but plenty of exhaust shops in the area do as well. Use one of them.
