Terrible customer service. Owner was very argumentative when I brought up an issue with an exhaust tip I had them weld on. Tried to say motor mounts could cause my exhaust tip to look crooked. Find another shop to bring your car to if you value professionalism, honesty, and fair pricing, if you don t care about these things, bring your car here!

Bay Area Muffler in Fairfield Ca did a great job on fabricating/weldingCap J-Pipe in front of my flowmaster muffler to get rid of the cabin resonance and drone at certain rpms. I have a 2006 Ford Expedition.Jesus and Hector were friendly and professional. Honest shop and quality welding is for sure present.Thanks again for the great work.Service: Exhaust

Bay area muffler are good people, mom, dad and brother help made me feel at home. Business is great, price is great, and job is excellent. I would recommend to anyone who needs welding and exhaust work done.

Will say this is not just the best muffler shop but hands down the best automotive shop I ve ever been to & experienced. Jesus and his brother Hector are not just professional and take real pride in their work, but they are honest & positive people. I would recommend this shop to anyone & everyone looking for exhaust work.

He was honest and polite but he can t work on my car because he admitted that he was by himself and he didn t want to tackle the job. Plus he honest with me and I had done the same job on my Nissan Quest and I didn t want to have to replace my cat on a 2008 Nissan Quest Bank 1. I did everything from watching YouTube videos to clean it . So I just took it to the dealer and was charged $4800.00. My van has 84,112 miles on it.What caused it to malfunction was a misfire. So I had to put in new modules six of them.I want to add that car washer that spay water and detergents with short out the wires faster. I love having a clean engine but after 14 years something was due to short out. So I spoke to the guy and told him that I have the engine wash once a week and he said I needed to stop. That s what cause the wires to short out and cat to go out early. Cold water on a hot cat doesn t mix well.

They've been around a few years, I knew them from the beginning and they are still amazing people! Great prices, high quality work, speedy service, I have nothing but good things to say about this shop and the people! They truly care about their customers and I left beyond happy with the work I've received! If you ever need any work done on your exhaust, I would only ever recommend Bay Area Muffler, it's an all around amazing shop! They are the only shop I would ever trust to work on my cars exhaust!

Came in with my 1998 Tacoma to quiet down the drone noise in the interior and left very happy with the result. He didn t have room for me in his schedule until 5 hours later but given my situation he was able to squeeze me in. Also his welding skills are phenomenal, that exhaust isn t going anywhere. Also not to mention the customer service! I felt right at home with his wonderful parents and brother it made the wait pass by fast. (Was on a Saturday which is their busiest day )

One of the best repair shops in the Bay Area. Jesus and his brother really did an incredible job on my cars. First they installed a muffler on my Nissan Altima then installed a cat theft cover for my Toyota Prius. They really treat you like family. I had such a positive experience here, not only was the service great but the vibe was very exceptional. Both workers were professional and friendly. They booked me an appointment immediately and fixed the issue. My mustang sounds great again. I contacted Bay Area Muffler because a pipe was hanging and my Minivan sounded like a truck. Called at approximately 11:30 4/14/22, had an appt for 12:30 that afternoon and was out in less than an hour. Jesus and Hector were thorough, personable and most importantly, honest. Best shop to go to for anything you need done to your exhaust!Jesus and his brother Hector are great folks and the work they did, another exhaust shop was charging me double! THeir work was way better quality too and I actually felt like they care about my car.I needed to get a new catalytic converter welded onto my nissan 240sx and not only did Jesus do that but he even went out of his way to correct the mounting of my exhaust that a previous exhaust shop did very poorly. Apparently the previous exhaust shop, when they welded on new flanges on my exhaust they didnt even bother to check that my resonator was so close to the ground! Jesus noticed it right away and he fixed it so my resonator had inches more of ground clearance. He even told me i was missing a nut from my exhaust manifold which was causing a hissing sound that the other shop didnt see!Anyway, they are very considerate of their customers. They made custom extended ramps to accommodate for lowered vehicles so that they can drive up the lift ramps. They have a dope waiting room with a giant tv, sick artwork on the wall by Jesus, and really cool custom welded figures outside made out of exhausts theyve worked on! Perfect for taking pictures of or with haha.I can go on forever about how much good things i can say about this place, the quality of their work and how they treat their customers. Just know if you go here you will be well taken care of!I highly recommend! Im never going to any other exhaust shop!Service: Exhaust

Awesome shop with great service. They added a cat-back exhaust to my car at a reasonable price. Quality was spot on and the service was quick and friendly. I recommend this place to anyone that needs exhaust work done.

The owner was prompt & block out time to focus on my Caddy CTS. He was thorough; tapped all parts of muffler & cat converters for broken pieces, cut/weld to inspect. He was a pro & gave correct diagnosis the first time around. My problems were engine compression due to wrong oil grade! Follow owner's manual!! And I had a bad ball joint that created loud noises. He saved me $$$

I went into the Bay Area muffler shop to get two new mufflers for my 2014 Challenger RT. I told him how I wanted it to sound. And just like magic he put two new high performance mufflers on. And oh how she purrs. He takes a lot of pride in what he does. It's not too loud and it has a little bit more poop makes my Hemi feel good . I have zero drone. You know the kind you get at 2000 RPM. If you have a Challenger with a hammy go see Bay Area Muffler in Fairfield. Thank you Bay Area Muffler for such a good job. You are number one am I book.
