WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! ZERO STARS! This place has 2 Managers and 1 Service Advisor. When I first arrived the Service Advisor, Manager and I agreed on work to be done on my car. I had to Authorize $85.00. A week later another $420.00 in Diagnostic. 3 days more go by and the recommendation: A new Remanufactured Motor and PCM. Since the motor was coming out of the car I told the Service Advisor that I'm going to purchase Ca. Legal Headers to be installed and he verbally approved. We discussed the Motor Warranty being honored at any AAMCO across the United States. It was a 5 year / 500K mile warranty that covers 100% Labor and Parts. The estimated cost of Repairs which Included extra time for PCM Issues according to the first manager was $8,071.00 Required $4,000.00 Deposit to Order the new Motor. A few days later I brought in a Cashier's Check becoming more "Financially Committed" On this day I met another Manager Named Tom. As soon as he meets me he bad mouths' the type of car I have calling it and the series of cars from Chrysler similar to it all Junk and plagued with problems. There's much more I can elaborate about this guy but I will just say he's not the person I would expect to be in a management position that deals with customers. Just over a week later I came to inspect the work being done on my car. My Recently installed 4 month old New Leather Seats and Center Console had Mechanics Oil stains on them along with all the windows down collecting dust and whatever else migrated inside. The new motor was installed but the Headers were not. They attempted to install some Cheap Redesigned Aftermarket Intake Manifold on my car that appeared to be much smaller than the original stating that mine was cracked!? and no useable. (Weeks later brought my old intake home with the car and it does not appear to be cracked anywhere!) I had to argue with the Manager Tom to install a new O.E DODGE Intake which he finally agreed to. As for the Headers, we got into an argument where this Manager screams at me pointing his finger at me calling me a Liar and that I never had verbal authorization to have this shop install the Shorty Headers. Also, this manager Lied to me telling me that Headers Cause the Valve Seats to drop and damage the 5.7L HEMI Engine. I never heard this being the cause for HEMI Engines to fail so I asked him to produce the source of this information and he refused. I asked him to produce the Engine Warranty supplied by the Manufacturer of the motor and he refused calling it Proprietary Information. He said that He will write up the Warranty when he has the time. After a Month of my car being in this shop I am called to pick it up because they completed their work. The bill increased by $986.00 When I arrive to get my car the seats were never covered with protective plastic and there was more grease stains on my 4 month old new Leather seats! The Car remote control couldn't unlock the car nor would it start because the Battery had died. The Car needed to be Towed out after paying $9,057.00! Tom said that AAMCO Complete Car Care does not do Electrical or Computer Work I was required to sign a release in 3 places on the Invoice. 1. Orig Estimate 2. That I "Approve of the Increase in price. 3. That "I accept delivery of the vehicle and that services were to Customer's Satisfaction" I was Not Satisfied nor Approved of the Increased Price! If you don't sign these 3 places they will not release your car. If you leave your Car beyond 2 days in AAMCO's Possession after they notify you that the work is completed they will charge you $45.00 per day every day you leave your car at the shop! Next! The Manager Tom provides me his Typed Up Warranty that was a JOKE!!! The Warranty is only to be honored at the FAIRFIELD AAMCO TRANSMISSION Location!?!?!?! And he added conditions that make it easy for him to decide whether to Honor the warranty he wrote or not. They left a few loose wires too! Based on my Personal Experience as a Customer here.... I ADVISE YOU TO STEER CLEAR

Took my Stang in after my transmission blew out on me. Great customer service and great staff. Helped with getting my transmission paid for through Carmax and my rental. Thanks Dave

I had my vehicle worked on at another AAMCO in another state and that location was fantastic. I needed this location to check my vehicle and the phone conversation with whoever answered was terrible. I won't be taking my vehicle here if I need more work done.

Nice shop close to home. Took about a month to get my truck to act up because it only did it every now and then. They were very patient with me and turned out to just be a bad wire harness. They were able to fix it and I was out of there super cheap. Met the new owner and wasn't aware they did oil changes too. Just scheduled my 100,000 mile service because they beat the dealer price. I'll keep you guys posted on how it goes.

I took it there because my vehicle there because their was oil going in my water pump and I specifically told them if it was the motor that needed to be replaced to call me and I would not want to spend the money on a new motor. after I took it and supposable they found the issue they said it was an easy fix and that the motor was good. I was so happy and said okay proceed on replacing what they had said what it was. Once the fix it and they called me to pick up my vehicle I notice the one hose was disconnected and the car was shaking and was worse then when I took it in the first time. then I called them back and I said the issue is still there and water was leaking as well. I took in the second time and they failed again to fix it. I requested my money back and I had paid them $1,150, as they only offer store credit and spoke to manager and they only reimburse back half of the labor charges which was less then half. please make sure when you take your vehicle to confirm to you of the diagnose before you pay them. I will never take any of my cars and I would not recommend this place as well.

Quick, efficient, and reasonable service expense, after several runarounds! Strongly plan to return for all other issues on two older vehicles. Trevor was very professional and has won my confidence. I am very appreciative I no longer need to drive 50 miles for complete auto care!

Had them replace the transmission on my daughters 2017 Ford Focus due to transmission being damaged internally. When we picked up the car the gentleman behind the counter stated that the engine mounts are getting worn. My daughter drove the car home and stated that when the car was sitting at idle the car was shaking really bad like a massage chair and that there is a loud noise coming from the left side of the car. When we dropped off the car we did not have any of these symptoms. I am a mechanic by trade and know that after you do any major repairs you should test drive the automobile to ensure everything is working properly and there are no problem. Also it is customary to clean grease marks from the mechanics. There are grease marks on her key chain and center console of her car. Only thing good about this was the price which was about $1000 less than the dealer.Service: Transmission

This location refused to honor a coupon that I found on their website for a free multi-point inspection, a $85 value. The coupon was very specific about when it expired and what location it was meant to be used at (it had their exact address printed on the coupon). I posted screenshots of the coupon here. When I arrived at the location and presented the coupon, the acting manager ("Tom" said he is the manager of the Dixon, CA location and he was filling in as the acting manager here because there currently is no manager at this location) refused to honor it. He stated that it was a marketing mistake that would be corrected within 4 hours.Well, how does that help me? I drove 25 minutes to this location because of this coupon but they simply say no. This is infuriating and unacceptable, not to mention simply bad customer service. Own up to the mistake (even if you weren't the specific person to have made it) and take care of the customer, right? Nope, not at this location.Avoid this location at all costs. They will try to reel you in with false advertising and then pretty much tell you "too bad" to your face when you come into the shop.

I was taken advantage of and I do not appreciate it. I took my car in for a diagnostic, which they said was free, and the mechanic told me he would have to keep it over night and take the battery out of it etc etc, I said fine. After he didn't call me the next day to tell me my car was ready to be picked up I called him and to my surprise he tells me that I'm looking at a bill of over $200. Why? I came in for a free diagnostic and he tore my serpentine belt, didn't even give me the option to find a replacement myself which would have been cheaper, and made me pay the ridiculous amount. Best part is I call corporate asking them to handle the situation and they did nothing about it. I have not been reimbursed for even half of what I was charged and I will be taking this matter to a higher authority. Just because you need your bills paid doesn't mean you should take money out of my pocket, I have bills too.

went for a estimate, instead they end up taking it upon themselves to completely take the engine out and LEAVING IT OUT WITHOUT ASKING or have my permission to do so. so when I went back I couldn't and wasn't able to take the car which I DROVE THERE IN. instead they basically held the car until we paid $7,000 to put a new motor in when we went for an ESTIMATE. there was absolutely no reason for my engine to be out the car whwn i went for a ESTIMATE. Please ask them to put down exactly what they're going to do on paper before you leave your vehicle, which I warn you not to do. they got good reviews, but they basically did what thieving mechanics do, charge you for stuff you don't need and say there's a problem with one thing when really it's something else. My case they took my whole motor out and wouldn't put it back in until we paid 7000.

I was on my way back home to Idaho when the engine light lit on. It made me nervous because I had to drive many hours through country roads at night. I happened to find your shop and you guys treated me very well and quick, so that I could be back on the road again. The mechanic (Hispanic) took his time out of his lunch hour and fixed it in no time. Since then, no more engine light trouble. What a peace of mind you guys gave to me that day. While I did not get my car serviced here, they called me back promptly and answered all of my questions honestly, even if it didn't mean that I was giving them my business. Transmissions are scary to think about repairing, so having someone you can trust is essential and if I need my transmission repaired or looked at again, I will definitely go to these guys first. From the moment I called Mr. Tom He made me feel very comfortable about bringing my vehicle to his shop. The Staff was wonderful from the moment I walked in. My vehicle runs great and it's wonderful knowing my Family and I are in a Safe Reliable Vehicle. I Highly Recommend bringing your vehicle to Aamco. THANKS AGAIN

Worst service I have gotten after spending thousands of dollars there. My car was brought in to have an issue taken care of with the transmission. I chose AAMco because of the warranty. Which I have already had to use less then a month latter, they did not fix the transmission correctly and now the car has been there over a month and they tell me a different story when I go by to see what is going on. the first time I was told at most to rebuild or replace the transmission it would take ten days or less. Not sure why it is taken over a month to fix what they did wrong.I have to call constantly and go to their shop because they never call back, even if they say they will. I have been promised many times they will call me the next day and then again I have to call them . It is hard to believe them when they lie to me constantly.

Took my car in for a check engine light and car not shifting properly. They found electrical short to my speed sensor. After a small fee. Fixed the issue. Have been to this shop before and found out under new management. A lot better then before

Never ever take your vehicle here. Staff kept me in the dark about what was going on while it was in their care. Staff never updated me when my car would be available after holding it over the weekend. When I finally got my car back, it had chips and cuts all over the windshield, and the staff gave me no reasonable explanation for the damage.

Only doing transmission work. Office was open/unlocked but no one around..called from the parking lot and reached someone. He was helpful and recommended 2 other companies

This location is under new ownership. It is a lot cleaner and has a new technical staff.
