I had the best service. I had an emergency issue with my brakes. I showed up without an appointment and explained I was only in town for a couple of day. They worked me in around other appointments and fixed my issue in less than hour. Extremely friendly. I felt well taken care of. I d recommend them to anyone.

Stopped by with low air pressure in my van and they very kindly permitted me to fill up with no charge on their compressor, which was far superior to gas station air compressors that often do not work for higher pressure tires. Very friendly, gracious and helpful employees.

I have fond memories of eating donuts in the lobby with Art Senior as a kid. They ve always done a tremendous job with all of our family s cars. They were great with my Mercedes 190E back in high school and college. When I got my Jetta, I spent years going to the dealership for repairs. When my warranty was up, I knew I could trust Art s. As if no time had passed, they treated us like family. Art, Johnny, and the whole crew are friendly, trustworthy, honest, and they always have fair prices. They are the best!

Quality shop. Reasonable prices.Honesty integrity everything you're looking for in an automotive repair shop. My work van had a check engine light on which needed a smoke test in order to find a leak. They found the leak quickly and repaired it quickly at a very reasonable price. Drove around for a few days after the check engine light was reset and it passed smog no problem.Thank you ARTS AUTO.

Art, John and his crew are friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. I take both of our Toyotas to their shop (a Prius Plug-In and a Rav4). Once I schedule my service and deliver the car, they work hard to get my car back before the end of the day. They are honest, organized, and prompt. They do my regular servicing, brake work, catalytic converter security (for the Prius), and everything else. This is the best shop I've used in Marin County (way better service than Marin Toyota/dealership). Art's prices are fair, especially considering the personal attention you'll get (they even laugh at my stupid jokes). I highly recommend Art's.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

Exceptionally well done work on my 1999 Buick LeSabre which needed both upper and lower manifold gaskets replaced. NOT AN EASY JOB! Also had spark plugs and wires replaced (they were original factory installed) which was an equally tough task given they hadn't been touched since it rolled off the factory line in Flint, Michigan some 23 years ago. Now it runs like a BEAST! Great work by great honest folks.Service: Engine repair
