Really really excellent shop, I have been going here for many years now, they've done everything from minor things like changing hoses, brakes, to much bigger things like front struts, wheel bearings, and even my transmission in my toyota corolla. We had a vehicle get stolen and it was stripped some, we were devastated and Wayne and the crew helped and got it running for us again. They are honest and I would not go anywhere else for car repair.

I've been to a lot of repair shops in my 33 years of owning many vehicles, and this is by far the best experience I've ever had. Super fair prices and they do the work that need done without trying to upsale me anything. They were super booked the week I brought it in for the diagnostic test, so I brought it in a few days later and they finished it in half the time that was estimated. My Toyota Sienna runs great now and I couldn't be more satisfied. The staff was really nice, laid back, and straight up. Thanks Wayne

My car decided to throw up a check engine light while I was driving it from the Bay Area to Seattle. It was late in the day so all the shops were closed. I found a place to stay and looked for a shop in the morning. Everyone was busy but I was desperate to find out what was wrong so I could get home to my baby. I kept calling and Wayne s was able to fit me in. They actually sent me somewhere else so I could get on the road faster. I cannot say enough how critical they were to me getting back on the road in a safe car quickly. Thank you so so much :) The world needs more people like the owner here.

I cannot say enough about the speed and quality of the work that way did on our car last minute. He had us in and out of the shop in three hours and gave us a very fair price. He was a kind man and expedient. Perfect service. Thank you!

Wayne's shop is amazing and affordable. They went out of their way to accommodate my timeframe and work hours and even involved me in the part-buying process so that I knew what my options were (more than "used" or "new"). They are friendly, but didn't take advantage of me like some other places in town.

Wayne went above and beyond to help get me on the road. I brought in a van full of problems and he went out of his way to efficiently fix her up and get me mobile again. He is an honest, good hearted man who really has his customers best interests at heart. I'd recommend him higher than any other mechanic I've ever gone too!

Had my transmission kick out on the mountain. By far the best experience i've had from any auto repair, through multiple trucks, and many different repair places; here you will get honest and fair deals for any issue your vehicle is having. If they know someone who can fix up a particular problem faster, Wayne himself would lead you to the right place. 6/5, best experience in humboldt and the rest of northern california.

We were in the Eureka area on vacation when my Ford F-350 diesel engine water pump went out on a Saturday afternoon. I needed to get the truck fixed ASAP to stay on our vacation schedule, otherwise cancellation fees and such would ensue. Problem was I could not find a shop open on Sunday that knew how to work on a Ford 7.3 diesel engine. All Ford dealerships were closed. I then called Wayne's Auto Repair and a mechanic agreed to come in on Sunday and help us out. Wayne's did a great job replacing the water pump and at a fair price. And they were able to do the job on a Sunday which kept our family vacation on track. I recommend Wayne's Auto Repair for their friendly, competent and fair-priced service.

We were traveling in a 1962 Corvair van which developed some problems and we stopped at Wayne's Automotive for help. They were very busy with many jobs to do, but took the time to help us out. All the staff are kind and generously helped us with the logistics of ultimately having to tow our van to a Corvair mechanic in San Francisco. We will always be grateful to Wayne, Guthrie, Brody and Paula! What a great group of people!

My daughter bought her 1st car. We took it into two places in town. (We had just moved here.) The big fancy place on Broadway told us that the car needed new motor mounts, radiator worked on, etc, etc. About $3000 worth of work. We took it to another shop and they gave us another estimate that didn't include motor mounts. The 2nd shop said they could not fix motor mounts. A friend recommended Waynes. We were called to come in to get estimate. Gunther told us that motor mounts were fine, but that the CV boot bearings were bad. He showed us both. Estimate: $300. 10% of what other shop quoted us. They treated my daughter with respect, the mechanic had car ready same day, and he showed us broken cv boot. I would choose Waynes every single time.

I was traveling through Eureka over the weekend in a finicky 37-year-old "classic," and had some engine trouble. In spite of Wayne being very busy with local jobs and backed up, and it being the weekend, he went out of his way to take time and help a stranger, and helped me resolve it. Not only that, but he explained alternatives and other possible solutions with a huge depth of knowledge, and got me on my way again. Incredibly fair and extremely knowledgeable, Wayne just seems like a renaissance man who has the curiosity to get to the root of everything. If you find yourself in Eureka with car trouble, don't even consider going anywhere else.

We stopped in for a check engine light right when the guys were in the middle of lunch. In no time a mechanic came out to check the code (nothing major). Super friendly and very helpful with our issue.

He hasn't done the work on my car yet, but the fact that he is going to change my alternator on the 4th of July, so that I can make the business trip I have I Tuesday is amazing. Such A+ character!

Very honest repairman! He is also willing to explain exactly what is wrong and exactly how he is fixed it so I know I am getting my money's worth! And their pricing isn't bad!

The most honest car repair shop in Eureka maybe in the county they go out of their way to be honest with you they don't rip you off and if you don't need it they don't have you buy it can't ask for anything more

Don't believe they should be a real shop more like shade tree mechanic had to keep my vehicle way longer than expected just to install a few part's and overcharged will not be going here ever again very disorganized place!
