Everything seems to be locked, which I can understand, as there seems to be a lot of homelessness in the area, but not everyone is there to steal. I purchased 2 items, and they took them to a specific register. I wanted to use the self check out, but the associate said they weren't allowed to get my item from the register that they had been taken to. I went to that register, and it was the register with the longest line! The person being checked out had a full cart of items and something that didn't have a price on it. Growing impatient, I asked an associate if I had to make my purchase at this register, when I could check out at a different register or self checkout in minutes. She told me she could take it to self check out, which is what I asked before! When she took it to the self check out, she handed it to the associate who held it until I was next to check out. She then scanned it for me and walked away. The whole process was just over the top. I have to think someone could be responsible for getting the items that customers are not allowed to take to the checkout. It's already frustrating that you have to wait to get the item from the locked shelf, then have to wait to buy it as well!!

It's difficult to give anyone more than a single star when they lock up everything behind a glass door and escort you to the cash register when you ask to unlock the cabinet so you can purchase a pair if socks. That said, the staff are always friendly, especially Luke, who is doing his best to deter shoplifting.

We thought this store was closed because the mall entrance doors were always locked. We finally discovered the side entrance far from every other store in the mall. The store was packed, but only one register was open, and three self-checkout machines were closed. There were at least a dozen customers in each line. We won't be back.

I had planned on going in and buying something. But then I was told I couldn't park my truck overnight in the parking lot. I was prepared to spend money and was told they'd have my truck towed if I slept in it there. What happened to Walmart being a safe place for trucks?

Great little Walmart. No fresh produce though obviously because they are small. I love the premade salads but they didn t carry them, that s why I mentioned it. No trucker parking though. They are part of a Mall and the Mall Cops are not going to let you spend the night in their parking lot. Unfortunate, because they have TONS of parking! Some stores are closed down and so it makes a perfect spot to shut down and do a little Walmart shopping but no. Thanks Mall Cops for keeping the parking lot trucker free.

The pharmacy staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. Pharmacists Tiffany and Jerry always make sure their patients know what the meds are and how to take them. My meds are on auto refill, and they are ready a few days before I need them. This is the best pharmacy in Humboldt County

ZERO STAR. KICKED OUT BY LP FOR BEING THERE IN THERE STORE FOR "SHOPPING TO LONG" = now when in go in the always have there plain clothed LPs follow me. .... heya, it's okay now I know what being a celebrity is like! Thanks so much!!

Curb side pick up is the way too go! Easy system to use and I love the fact you get to choose when you want to pick your order up. Everything about it was a great experience.

It's time consuming as many items are behind locked shelves and many times the wait time for someone with keys is very long.Don't shop if you need to get anywhere within a certain time frame as you may find yourself delayed if you need an item behind these barriers.Self check is a nice feature.

This is by far the saddest Walmart I've ever been too. And I've been to quite a few this past summer because I relocated from Washington to Cali and this store has very little merchandise. Everything is locked up so u have to look around for a employee and I had to have them unlock a backpack for my daughter. I asked 5 staff for them to get me the item and no one had keys and the one lady told me she would go find someone with the key and never did I say waiting for 35 mins. It's so sad because I can't be mad I know it's because of stolen merchandise. But they really don't have much here at this Walmart.

I'm giving this walmart 2 stars because they seem to hire people on the spectrum which is great but also not great because sometimes I don't want to wait for someone to stop licking windows before helping me

I was gave 4 stars 2 yrs ago but now I have them 2 stars because I think is ridiculous that all items have to pay separately that's mean we need to pay them more tax in one building that just way too much for me. Idk about other Wal-Mart but this one in Eureka CA they doing it separate pay if u want to get item that locked, u need to pay to the cashier near by first.

Attached to a mall and had big sign. We go in and walk and walk and finally get to what used to be the entrance and greeted with a sign that entrance is now permanently closed. We walk and walk back to our car and drive around to the other side to find entrance. Once inside most everything that can fit in pocket or purse is behind locked glass cases. But there were clerks with keys. They actually had human checkers. Seems high crime area and were approached by beggars and people on drugs walking down middle of the road. Avoid unless you really in need. Clerks were very nice and professional. I mentioned to one need sign at other entrance that entrance is closed. Just some elements unnerving.

Eureka California WalMartThey don't do auto refills any longer they claim its against the law, but other pharmacies like Walgreens do it. They constantly screw up my prescriptions, when I run out of refills they wait until I try to get a refill to tell me I'm out of refills then they forget to fax the dr for more refills. In the meantime I run out. Then they lie and say they faxed the dr, but the dr doesn't get back to them so I call my dr and they have not received a thing from Walmart requesting refills. They sent me a survey to review them and when I gave my honest opinion the pharmacist Emmet called me at home early one morning and chewed me out. Called me a liar. Now they won't fill my prescriptions at all. It's been at least 6 months since I did the negative review and today, 6 months later they told me to go to another pharmacy because of my review. Emmet no longer works there.So my advice is if you want to pick up your prescriptions all at the same time go somewhere else and if you get a survey and are not happy with them switch pharmacies before you give your review.

Usually has what im looking for at affordable prices. Most times if not in store they will have it online. I tried doing the curbside pickup once during covid but still had to go inside all way to back to pick up my order only to realize i had to go get over half of it myself. This may have improved since idk i havent tried it again.

Walmart is like an Amazon that you don't have to wait. Walk in, get what you need for a great price and go. Something breaks... No problem, get your money refunded with no questions asked. I do wish that they had the little hand carry baskets. Pushing the big shopping cart can be a pain.

I went there to shop for a dietary supplement prescribed by my doctor. Only other place that sells it is Eureka Natural and I I dislike shopping there.

This Walmart lacks much as it is not very large, so many of the things I am used to getting at other Walmarts are not available at this one. Also, there is not an Automotive area where I can have my vehicle's needs met... like oil change and tires.

For a large box store they do a great job with keeping staff. Same friendly and familiar faces give the shopping experience a boost in comfort. Could be a little more product specific training but I imagine product supply and rotation factors into that.Ample parking and the hours are great for almost everyone. Prices are higher than we are historically used to seeing but fairing well in comparison to all other retailers in the area.

It's Walmart. Many items have to be unlocked by an employee and taken to the register (including things like socks, fishing hooks, sweatpants). They closed off the mall entrance, so you can't easily shop at both the mall and Walmart. It is becoming more inconvenient over time.

Wasn't my favorite shopping experience bc I didn't really like it's layout, however Ms. Mary in the fishing department was so nice & knowledgeable & accommodating. Thanks for your assistance with the jump starter & the cables started my ol'girl right up!

Employees friendly & willing to help you find what you are looking for. Prices are better than some other stores, but I always do price checks where I go. Equate brand is cheaper than name brands, even though same ingredients. I like the varieties of products.

Came in looking for a new headset and Legos. No sales on any of the Legos which is surprising for a Walmart. Otherwise good

Keep your expectations low, and you won't be disappointed. The staff is always friendly, the store is clean, and the displays are fairly organized.

Bought my son a new bike back in November and the crank bearings are already worn out! No grease and no seals on anything that should. The bike is useless now.
