We were on a trip visiting Humboldt (used to live in area) and got rear-ended losing our back window. It was close to closing time, and while S&H didn t have the glass we needed, they still invited us down, helped us to get the glass vacuumed up as best as possible, applied a clear plastic sheet and taped it up - even giving me the roll of tape to go. They wouldn t let me pay, and were so kind. We are very grateful! S&H - you helped us get home safe! Thank you!

Called to replace glass. Took an appointment weeks out. They replaced glass on the appointed day and time. No problems with scheduling or insurance. No off street parking. Can take car to their garage on arrival when not busy. Front office person was nice .

They were ON IT ? The price he quoted was Great.They had the glass in My Toyota install fast .And I was on my way.........I would recommend to anyone.!!!!! 5 star service

Excellent service and highly recommended. I was referred to S&H by my insurance company after finding my back glass shattered without a known cause. Melissa and her crew were friendly and professional. I had 2 appointments due to a small issue with the 1st newly installed back glass not fitting my vehicle properly. This was a factory manufacturing issue as the glass appeared to be defective and did not fit as ordered/described. Melissa immediately reordered a new factory glass for my vehicle and rescheduled to reinstall again. She kept in communication via text about the matter and was very apologetic, even though the issue was a simple glass defect and not s&h's fault. At the 2nd appt, the new back glass fit perfectly. They also fixed my chipped windshield free of charge!! The fish tank and free wifi service that entertained my kiddos during our wait times was a bonus! They were extremely busy and worth every minute of the wait. I genuinely appreciate all of the kindness and professionalism.

The best service I've had anywhere since moving to Humboldt County. I got a reminder call for my appointment 3 days prior. When I dropped my van off they were waiting for me at the counter. Like they were happy to have our business. The work was done quicker than expected, and a little over a month later my windshield is still awesome! I appreciate S&H so much for doing excellent business!!I forgot one more thing, great attitudes! Everyone I came in contact with had a great attitude.

Service was excellent. Atmosphere was nice. The sashimi was the best. The roll was called crunchy and spicy and it was not much of either. I enjoyed the hot sake. I will return.

I had my car window broken out by some vandal. 5 days before it happened my friends mother had her car window broken the same way and went to S&H. She recommended that I go there because they were friendly and fast. They were very nice about getting me an appointment and they gave me a very reasonable price quote instantly. When I went in for my appointment they said it could take up to an hour, they had it done in 40 minutes. I'm very happy with their service and I will recommend them to anyone who needs their windows replaced. And, I'll be going back for any future glass needs I have.

Car was broke into my first night in town. Part of the window was still in-place but glass was everywhere. The gal had me bring it right over. They cleaned up the broken window mess and taped a temporary cover in place.When the window replacement arrived, I dropped the car off and it was ready by the time I got back from breakfast. These guys are amazing! They replaced my windshield, and after the dealership ordered the wrong one, S & H expedited the new window, and rushed to fix it before the holidays. I'm definitely a fan of this business and their customer service. A+ service.

They are so nice, gave me a ride to my job, really listened to what I was saying was wrong. I had never done this before, they explained the process to me which in return everything worked out perfectly and I am completely satisfied with their work. Between them and Rainbow Body Shop my car is not leaking anymore and looks absolutely beautiful. Thank you

Fast, friendly, informative and helpful. Amazing work, easy to work with and fast getting what I need and getting my window replaced. If you need auto glass work this is the place to go!Update** I needs their services again and you can add consistent to the list of positive things to say about this place. They did not disappoint and in fact exceeded the high expectations that they d set.

Window got busted by a bear, and had to take my rig in to S&H for a new window. They were beyond helpful and polite. The price was great and I was told the job would take an hour and it only took half that. I recommend anyone go here for any window repair they ever need.

Excellent customer service. Granted, it took a while to find a replacement window for my Nissan Leaf, but they handled everything. Hoping not to need any more replacement windows anytime soon, but I would definitely go back to S & H if I do

If you want the best glass install in the area S&H is the one. Always go above and beyond to make everything perfect. They have been doing my auto glass work for 30 yrs and wouldn't trust my cars with anyone else. Super reasonable prices and friendly people.

It took them 24 hours after ordering my Prius windshield to put it in. It was complicated because there is a mirror inside my windshield. They did a great job! Nice people. My insurance covered everything. I would recommend them.

This place is the best! They have repaired my windshield twice and they have always done exceptional repairs in a timely manner. The lady who answers the phone and schedules the repair (and helps when you arrive) is very, very nice and efficient. S&H Auto is pleasure to do business with and their prices are very good.

Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, they fixed a botched repair job on my windshield in no time at all. Highly recommended because of their desire for me to leave in a safe vehicle, rather than for them to make a sale. Also they have a low key shop cat, so that s cool

As stressful as it is to buy a brand new car and have a semi kick a rock into my windshield S & H is amazing. I've had a pleasant experience and the front desk lady is what makes this business! Happy to do business here!

A rock hit our windshield while driving home and cracked it S & H was able to get me in the same day I called! Everyone was really nice and professional. Made my kids and I feel super comfortable while waiting on the repair. The crack is pretty much nonexistent now! Thank you guys so much!

Apparently a homeless person was in need of the small blanket I had in my back seat of my car and smashed the window to get it. Vandalism is so prevalent in our area that shops are booked out several weeks, it was worth the wait. Friendly, professional staff. No hassle at all. Thank you

My car's windshield got cracked by a rock and these fine folks got me in the same day and charged a very fair price. Excellent service. Great price. I highly recommend this establishment.

My boyfriend called in for an estimate on a new windshield and it was a reasonable price. When the car was turned in I was called back to be told that the windshield frame was rusty and needed to be replaced or I was risking damage down the road again. The extra fee was very reasonable and Melissa, her mom, and the resident kitty had stellar customer service. Thanks for the stress-free windshield! (Side note: my dad's a mechanic so I have trouble letting anyone else touch my car but I can totally trust mine at S&H in the future)
