I highly recommend this place!! I initially chose them based on positive Google reviews, and have taken my daughter's car here twice now. Once for a used car check and oil change, and today when it started acting weird (had a burning smell and strange noises). They were very accommodating and let us have it towed there (we didn't want to continue driving it since we had no idea what was wrong). Jason looked at it just a couple hours later. Ended up being a simple fix and they took care of it (with no charge!!) and we picked up the car same day. We will definitely be back for our regular maintenance needs and any needed repairs!

In less than five minutes after I arrived they let me know I just needed a new battery and didn t even charge. The lady who checked it out for me was friendly, quick and happy to help.

I went to Ron s a few months ago because I leave premier/ oil stop with issues after every service. The last issue was a missing transmission plug. Melissa is so polite and personable over the phone. My dad was a mechanic but has passed away so that was my first time having to go to someone else for vehicle issues. I was so scared of the cost, and if the job would be done correct. Jason was amazing and fixed my car at a very fair price. He is my new mechanic now, I will never take my car to anyone else. I trust him 100%! This last time was for a simple oil change, and running a check engine code. Job was well done. I highly recommend Ron s they are fair and great people. It was extremely scary having to go to someone else with the care of my vehicle but they treated me so well and extremely fair. If I could give Ron's 10 stars I would! Quick and easy to set up an appointment for a routine maintenance check. My car did not need anything (which is always a happy moment!) and to make the moment even better there was no charge for the checkup. The driver from AAA recommended this place to me as the best option due to its swift, friendly, and inexpensive service. I had a breakdown on the highway, so I was towed here. I had to stay in a motel overnight, but the next day they quickly diagnosed the issue (alternator) and were able to repair it that same day!

This company is amazing. We broke down trying to go camping and we got towed to this place. They ended up getting us in within an hour of showing up and we explained our issues with everything and then they ran diagnostics to figure out what the problem was. Long story short it was a quick process, they allowed us to run the parts to them from the store to make it cheaper. We are thankful and highly recommend Rons Quality Auto Repair to anyone in the humboldt area in need of service

The name says it all, Top quality work by the best qualified mechanics In town. The guys are super quick unlike some of these places were you leave your car for a week or 2 , it rarely takes more than a day for your repair and I have never had to go back , it's always done right the 1st time. The other nice thing about them is it is honest work and honest prices .So my hat's off to the guys, the "J" man, David and Ron , and a great big thank you to them for being such an awesome business

I have been going to Ron's Quality auto for about 15 years now. I love how honest and straight forward they are.Ron is great and so is Jason. In a industry where you can be taken for every last penny Ron's is a breath of fresh air.I recommend all my friends to Ron's because he is trust worth. He doe not do necessary repairs.He will tell you honestly if the repair is worth fixing or not.Great local shop with integrity.

Whenever I transferred with the military, the first thing I did after finding a barber was to find an honest and reputable shop for auto repair. Ron's fit the fill. Over 6 years we have had any of our auto work done at Ron's. They have always done an amazing job and are great to work with. If you're looking for a shop that will give it to you straight and not overcharge you, Ron's is the place to go.

Quick, friendly, and excellent service! Jason listened to my concerns, took my car for a test drive to see what the issue was and had a diagnosis within a couple hours. They were able to see me immediately and I didn t have to wait! I ll definitely be returning next time I need work.

BEST MECHANIC SHOP I'VE EVER GONE TOO! They not only walked me through every step of the process for repairing and maintenancing my car, but would even work with me financially for what I could and couldn't afford. They literally taught me how to do my own oil change and went out of their way to be there for me as much as possible. I trust no other mechanic with my car now!

This business was recommended to me by the housekeeper of our hotel. She said they were reputable, honest and was reasonably priced! I had a mild issue with one of my brakes & it was repaired in minutes! This place has integrity and didn't take advantage of me for being an out-of-towner!

Always a good experience at the shop. Everyone who works here is very knowledgable and willing to help. The prices are reasonable and they will not try to jerk you around. If they say your car needs something, it needs it. Always love coming here to have my vehicles serviced.

Had a check engine light come on in my 2002 toyota echo that i had just bought when i was driving through Shasta-Trinity National Forest, this is a Friday around 1:30, my family and i are traveling to Missouri.. I ran down to Mid-Way Motors in Eureka and they offered me an appointment for tuesday. So i called Ron's and Jason answered and told me to come by and they would take a look. They noticed i had a bad coil and spark plugs, by this time it was about 3:30, if i didnt get it done i was a sitting duck until Monday or Tuesday, they said they could get me in. They were friendly, reasonably priced, and honest throughout the process. I would recommend these guys everytime, whether its planned maintenance, or badly needed repair, give them a call. Thank you for your help.

Ron's has always provided great service! They are reliable, honest and caring. I have never felt taken advantage of, which I cannot say about other auto shops in eureka/arcata area.

Took my Pontiac Vibe in for brake pads and they didn't try to sell me anything else. In fact they told me the last brake job didn't lube my calipers, so he did and said they should be good. (which Les Schwabs told me I needed calipers) I was told I needed rotors by another place and I didnt. I have found my forever mechanic! Thank you Ron's. Fast, Quality work at a good price.

After an exorbitant estimate at Antich Automotive of $750 for a power steering fix including new pump, parts and blablabla, I went with Jason and the guys there and one hour, a line replaced and $110 later I got my Toyota running perfect. Avoid fancy big places, the only want to take more money from you, this guys rocks!
