Parts Department has went down hill and very rude.Definitely not buying a new car from a place you can't get parts without a hassle from the parts and service Departments....

Today I was a bit of a difficult customer. I spent the day trying to get the best deal possible. The sales person and manager were patient and helpful to find solutions. This is the second vehicle we purchased and we will go back to purchase additional.

Thank you Northwood Chevrolet and Michael Cark for the great experience. I enjoyed working with Michael to assist me with my first purchase of a new vehicle. Michael made the process very easy. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He was very helpful, patient, and I appreciate the time he spent working with me. Great customer service. I have purchased 3 brand new vehicles here in 6 years! They were ALWAYS helpful, courteous an knowledgeable. I don't remember the first guy but the second one was Chris and the most recent was Dimitri. They took the time to explain all the goodies the car came with. The finance guy was witty and fun and even bought our lunch for us while we waited. My other family members have purchased a total of 9 new and used vehicles there based on our experience and they have all been satisfied and will purchase again should they need it. Thank you Northwood for making us feel welcome and special!

Needed to get my new vehicles break in oil change done.They told me it would be over 2 weeks before they could do it. AN OIL CHANGE?!?As well they didn t even have the oil needed for the new car.This place seems to be a Hyundai dealer more then a Chevy dealer

Nice people work there, but I have to wonder about their follow through.They said there was evidence of oil leaks around the engine block when they replaced a belt, yet they never checked the oil level. I went to an oil change place the next day and they found that my car was critically low on motor oil.

I needed to sell my car on the fly and brought it here to Northwood. They not only gave me a good price on my car but Adam also made me feel completely welcome and made the process easy for me to do with my 4 year old in tow. Took care of me and my child. Dmitry also helped by getting the car checked out immediately. Anytime I have ever had business at a car dealership it has always taken the entire day but these guys made this happen in a short amount of time. I was very impressed and pleased.

I spent 10,000 on a new transmission here last year. Bret ( the head mechanic)was amazing! Unfortunately while my truck was here my mini max tuner screen was stolen. That s a $900 screen. I asked about it and they said some guy who was working on my rig had quit so it could have been him. I was never given a replacement. Sad that this shop doesn t take any responsibility for stuff that happens there.

I purchased a car for my daughter. The salesman Mr. Cark was very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, answered all my questions, along with my daughters.I would certainly go back to this dealership again and refer Mr. Cark to my freinds & Family. What a great car buying experience! Liz was my sales rep and she was awesome. We communicated back and for for a good eight months as I took my time to purchase and she was always willing to help me every time I reached out and had a question. I ended up buying just the right truck for me--a new Chevy Colorado. Liz even made sure to help me order some sweet looking running boards and the black and silver Chevy logos that I liked so that I was able to get exactly what I wanted. She went above and beyond!My finance guy was Adam and he did a stellar job helping me explore all of my options. Adam is quite knowledgeable and was fantastic at making sure that I was able to get every dealer incentive or discount that I qualified for. Adam and Liz were a great team and worked very well together--it was a real pleasure purchasing a vehicle from them.When I (rather embarrassingly) lost both of my keys and key fobs shortly after, Brent in the service department, as well as all of the others that I interacted with were very helpful in (not only getting my running boards and chevy logo's installed on my truck) but they did a great job helping me get my keys and key fobs replaced and getting me in and out of the shop quickly.The thing that really blew my mind was that Liz and Adam checked in on me when they heard that I lost my keys and they were so great at making sure that I was able to get back up and running ASAP.Not only do I now have a sweet looking truck that is totally a blast to drive but I have the memory of a great buying experience. It seems like a pretty rare experience to have the urge to rave about interacting with a dealership nowadays. Thank you Liz, Adam, Brent, and Northwood Chevrolet!

After one interaction I'm convinced this dealership is a cover for other illegal operations. Walked in, and immediately let them hook me with known shady car salesman practices like taking my keys, trade in offer talk etc. After 10 minutes of talking they caught on that I was knowledgeable about their tactics and they immediately told me the vehicle I'd come to see was miraculously sold. I told them I'd pay cash out the door which most car dealerships would jump at to upsell or cross-sell, but these guys just let me walk when they realized I'd negotiate a fair deal. Definitely a dealership to avoid. If they're not a cover for an illicit operation I'd be surprised because they certainly aren't trying to sell cars.

The auto service is good. the sails department sucks . Had to go to Los Angeles instead. Felix Chevrolet gave me a amazing deal no money down and drove off lot with new truck.

I have come in many times to do my car shopping and everyone here is the best. Knowledgeable on the vehicles and easy to work with. We bought a Chevy Volt last year, they worked with us to get a good rate and a payment we were comfortable with. The service Department always takes great care of us as well. They looked over our older suburban before leaving for a trip to Spokane and fixed our AC very last minute. Couldn't as for a better Dealership to deal with.

My experience was great, except that this time my car didn't get washed, and I am wondering if it is because of the water shortage in Humboldt County, and they failed to give me the sticker for my next oil change, I still have the old one on there. Otherwise, everything went well.

So I bought my truck from Northwoods new in 2016. I made a service appointment 3 weeks ago and told the service person I would have to wait for it as I wouldn't have a pick up person. I was 30 minutes early and left my truck with them at 0900. I had all the service it needed completed as requested but, BUT, I didn't get my truck back until 3 PM today. So my question to Northwoods is why have appointment times at all....... I mean for drive line fluids and a fuels filter on a 2500 HD. it shouldn't take 6 hours.....Especially with an appointment and me telling you twice that I would be WAITING For my vehicle.... I had a great experience at Northwood Chevrolet. I am doing research on my next car purchase and want it to be an EV. I spoke to Ash and he informed me of all my options that Northwood could offer. He listened to my questions and had very well informed responses, even mentioned he owns an EV himself, and highly recommended them. Thanks Ash for taking the time to answer all my questions. When I am ready to pull the trigger, your my guy.

So, dropped my car off for the check engine light and something to do with the car not taking an electric charge to the battery (hybrid volt). They charged me $190 for one hour of service to fill the battery coolant. I wasn t impressed by this, but the thing that really earned them the 2 star rating was that they didn t even charge the battery (not even like 5 miles) to make sure it was maintaining a charge. Fail. Come on guys.

My 2016 Chevrolet Colorado diesel truck had a catastrophic engine failure July 12, 2021 at 42,233 total miles driven. Just got my truck back on December 21, 2021. Five months one week and some days later, I have my truck back.Being a working truck, this was a considerable amount of time without a truck. Being warranty work, the standard line Northwood Chevrolet gave me for a comp vehicle was three days at $30 per day, or $90 total. I was lucky to have access to a another vehicle. However, if I had to lease a separate vehicle for 5 months, I may have paid several thousand dollars for an auto lease plus added insurance. Northwood's policy is not to comment on such matters, and perhaps Chevrolet USA should be taken to task for such a glaring warranty work inadequacy of theirs.To be fair, Corona virus, and supply line problems have plagued all business, including mine. And, they did not get the truck into their shop until August 8th or three week after the truck had broken down. So, in total it took Northwood Chevrolet four months and two weeks to fix my truck.Another item which must be mentioned, although the new engine arrived and was installed in November, a necessary timing belt did not arrive until November 29th. It's at this time that Northwood decided to reschedule the installation of the new timing belt until December 15th. No reason was given to why they decided not to install the timing belt, which was in their possession, for an additional 3 weeks.I gave them two stars instead of one star because I did get my truck back eventually and "Brent" the service representative was always courteous to my many phone calls. Their service manager, however deserves less than a star for their lack of sympathy and non-communicative approach to client services. They did give me a one year warranty on the new engine, but I doubt I will be back to do any more business with Northwood Chevrolet in Eureka, California.

We have purchased two vehicles from Northwood Chevrolet and both experiences with the sales department were amazing. I highly recommend this dealership, the sales and finance representatives are very knowledgeable and professional. Make sure you ask for Chris the next time you are in the market for a new vehicle.

Sorry that others have not had the type of experience that my wife and I had on 1/26/20. I had decided to purchase a 2020 Hyundai Sonata Limited and the exterior and interior colors were not available within 200 miles of where we live. I went on Hyundai's vehicle search and Northwood Hyundai/Chevy had the exact vehicle.I contacted Liz Bagnell, Sales Consultant and she confirmed the vehicle, sent pictures and negotiated a fair price. Some dealers in my area were asking for MSRP or higher due to first model year and availability. NOT! Once we agreed on the (out the door) price, then I had to convince my wife of making a 610-mile, 11-hour (roundtrip) drive to Eureka. Liz was helpful in the process here too. We rented a vehicle one way for the drive and were able to see the beautiful western shoreline, (through fog and sunshine).We had requested that by the time we arrive we would be exhausted and that we wanted to truly get there and (sign and drive). Liz and the staff at Northwood Chevy get 5 Stars just for that. Most auto closings seem to take a lifetime. As a 60+ family man, I have purchased numerous cars. The time spent purchasing this one was painless and record breaking.Another service that I have never experienced was the details and time Liz spent with us going over the features and operation of the vehicle. Sure, most dealers give you an overview, but I have never had a sales rep sit in the passenger side and go through a checklist of the major components on vehicle operation. Let's face it, once you've signed, it s on to the next client. Liz as well as the Sales Manager were concise, professional and made this the best auto purchase we've ever made.I am a small business owner, and I know we're not always on our A game. However, the Northwood team was. You always hear of the poor service, etc. I wanted to give credit for a job well done.While I scratched my head knowing I wanted this vehicle enough to drive 600+ miles to purchase it, Northwood Hyundai confirmed that it was worth it. We'd do it again!

I went car shopping on a Saturday with my infant son n sister. I was determined to buy a car that day and thus I came prepared with the finances and the knowledge of what I wanted to test drive and the information on said car. First off, when I got to the dealership no one was around, took someone forever to finally come out and speak with us. Secondly, I was met with the most arrogant guy at Northwood Chevrolet whom just made our experience unpleasant. Not very knowledgeable about the car I was interested in and despite me having cash in hand, no one there seemed to be very motivated to make a sale. I felt as though they had a prejudice towards a single woman with an infant, whom had the knowledge and money to make a sound choice without being taken for a ride, no pun intended. The car I was considering at their lot had 41+ thousand miles in ONE year on it and it was a concern to me, something the arrogant sales guy kept trying to play down like it wasn't a big deal. It had been a rental car before, it was definitely something to be concerned about. They were unwilling to work with me on the price and honestly, I was unwilling to work with them on the price they quoted me, more so based on their poor attitude, then the car. They play superiority games there that someone with a psychology background, aka me, can clearly see right through. I wouldn't recommend this place. In the end they lost out on a 20+ thousand dollar sale based on poor attitude. I went ahead and purchased a great car at Mid City World Toyota and the guys there were the complete opposite, kind, positive, welcoming, good sports and very helpful. Save yourselves the trouble of dealing with unprofessionals whom clearly lack the motivation to make a sure sale and visit Mid City World. In the end, I went home with a great car, with very little mileage, for my son and I. :)

Chris Ringler made my car buying experience a joy! Every other time I bought a car I felt bullied and taken advantage of. I love the fact that I never felt pressured to buy a car. Our 2019 Corvette Grand Sport developed a "secret sound" after about 8400 miles. This seemed to be emitted from the area of the forward portion of the torque tube. Brent coordinated and Vic performed about twenty hours of labor diagnosing and replacing the torque tube assembly, not a simple task. My experience with Northwood Chevy maintenance was that they were concerned, knowledgeable and efficient. Hopefully this fix will prove long lasting, time will tell, but I felt the dealership was quite responsive.

Liz is great, she was very kind, friendly, knowledge, professional and exteremely patience. As I was indecisive to say the least :) she just answered my questions and allowed me to work through the process. She never got pushing at all and I highly recommend her... Thanks Liz, I love my new Chevy Trax LT.
