Great car shopping experience with Mid-City Toyota. I saw a car online, and they quickly followed up with me. Sadie was helpful in providing detailed and timely information on the car.Ultimately I did not purchase from here, for now, but if I'm looking for a car in the future, I will definitely be considering talking to this dealership again.

This place is getting 2 stars because I had a great experience buying my car from here and have had good experiences with the service department until recently. I brought in my car (09 Prius) for a major service and the day of on the way my tire pressure light went on. Perfect timing I thought. I take it into my scheduled appointment and tell my service rep about it and some other non-emergency issues I ve noticed. One was a broken touch screen display, which I was told would have to be sourced used and would cost over $1000, pass. The other is my horn, had to disconnect the fuse last winter because it just wouldn t stop honking. Diagnostic was going to cost $350, pass. Anyway I was told it would be about 2 hours so I took the shuttle home to wait. After 4 hours (!) I text my rep and rather quickly get a call that my car is ready. And I was told that my tires were fine but they were unable to get the sensor light to turn off, it would cost $200 for a diagnostic but it might be a worn out battery or something. I asked one question Do the tires hold air? I was told yes they are all fine. They even wrote this on my report after the service. I believe that it could be what they said since the car has some minor electrical problems already with the horn and the screen. No biggie. Pay them $600. One week later, after driving in my car with the tire sensor light on, my husband goes to use the car and the front right tire is totally flat. He fills it up with outlr air compressor and guess what? The light TURNED OFF! I took it to Gosselin and they identified and patched the hole within 40 minutes. And the light remains off. Thank God I didn t pay $200 for literally no reason and that I didn t wreck my car or blow out my tire by driving on a tire with a hole in it! Never going back to this place again.

I bought a new Rav 4 Prime in the beginning of July, 2023. The car is great and the sale went smoothly. We paid about $5000 over markup price. After we signed all the papers and gave them a check for the full price they asked, we were told they only had one key for it. They gave us one key. We were told the extra key would arrive sometime around the first oil change. Kind of vague. It s now October 10. No extra key. We have called many times to check up on the key. I called Toyota as well. I have been told by Mid City sales to be careful with my one and only key so as to not lose it. I have been told by mid city to call a locksmith to make me a spare key. We called mid city again today and were told the spare key would show up in the first quarter of 2024 and it was out of their hands. Sigh. This has been endlessly frustrating. I m in the 4th month of owning this car and still have not received a spare key.

We bought our first car, a Toyota, from Austin Alley. He was helpful, honest, and communicative throughout the whole process. Whenever we had a question, he always responded quickly, and he was also very flexible when coordinating picking up the car. He kept his word on all promises, and there were no surprises when the car arrived. Both he and the finance manager were straightforward and never pushy. This was very important to us since we drove from several hours away and didn't want any surprises. Overall, we had a great experience and appreciated his expertise and guidance. Would highly recommend him and the dealership for buying a car!

I had a great experience purchasing a new Toyota from this dealership. Jeff Clayton was an amazing person to work with, friendly and cheerful. I was not a local buyer since RAV4s have been hard to get a hold of and I had to call a bunch of dealerships to find something. Jeff and the mid city team were the best, they went out of their way to get me the car, were professional and respected my decisions. Thank you!

Dont ever call them they are rude un helpful and will try their best to not get you to a tech only reason why i dont give one star is cause after they charge and ARM AND A LEG and they mostly get the one job done do not recommend for a personal mechanic

5 stars for Tanner in the service department for being friendly, respectful and communicating well whenever my car is being serviced. I bought my first ever brand new car there recently and had to haggle with them to get rid of their $2000 market adjustment over MSRP. I was happy to pay full price for the car and wanted to support a local business but couldn t stomach paying $2000 over MSRP just because they could charge that if they wanted to. They worked with me a little, after over an hour of negotiation, but still had to pay $500 over MSRP. I would have rated them a full 5 stars if they didn t do the dealer markup, which just makes them seem a little greedy to me.

Unfortunately when you compare this dealership to others, mid city is lacking. Grants Pass Toyota can do an oil change and tire rotation on your car in 15 minutes while you never even have to get out of your seat. Mid city took a little over an hour and that was with an appointment. The bagels and cream cheese in the lobby were pretty decent.My problem is that some of the service advisors can be condescending, I asked him to please be careful with my car because it means a lot to me and he told me that it is a "moot point".On my more recent visit I dealt with Tanner who was a very respectful service advisor and he remained positive and friendly the entire visit.

Let's not purchase cars from people who bait and switch their cars.My husband was waiting for a car to arrive expecting the ticket price on their website listed with the VIN attached but they marked it up 2k as it arrived WHILE HE WAS THERE WAITING FOR IT TO BE UNLOADED. The salesman REFUSED to match their listing price and said that our money wasn't good enough to keep their listing price because other people were interested and they'd buy it with the markup. My husband verified they wouldn't budge on the mark up and walked away. Two days later those "other parties" must have also refused to pay the mark up because my husband received a text from the salesman trying to back track and honor their list price... too bad my husband bought a motorcycle instead.Don't buy from here. Don't trust their salesmen. Don't let their website fool you because you won't get what they list as the price online.Reported to the BBB for the bait and switch.

Did a road trip in our new 2021 rav4 from Vancouver, Canada and on the way back up, our service sign came on. We took it here to get it looked at, and was told it s for the first service for the car, tire rotation. They said it s safe for us to drive the car as is to Vancouver Canada and get the work done there if we liked. We appreciated the honesty and help and not trying to force us to get the service there.Friendly staff and helpful.

They overcharged me to put the wrong bolts on my wheels and then told me I had to fix a perfectly good part for $400 more than other shops. Don t go there unless you want to make your car worse.

Cost too much. Total rip off. Was on vacation they wanted to charge more then the car was worth to even look at it and that doesn't go towards the fix. Ended up buying from them because I had no choice. After selling the car later getting a hold of their finance team is harder than pulling teeth. Won't fix their voice mail can't leave a message they won't call you back get ready to be a pest. It's been months and it's still not resolved 0 stars

Unbelievably inadequate service. I would never go here if I had another option. No one here has even bothered to learn about the $50,000 plus priced minivan they sell. Thanks YouTube for showing me how to fix an issue that the dealership told me multiple wasn t possible.

I bought a 2011 Toyota rav4 limited from them in May of 2021 and was seriously impressed! I am so thankful for Mike Shapiro and Kimberly Cooper who made the whole process a breeze! They worked with me every step of the way to help make sure I could leave there with a new to me vehicle. Excellent customer service and a great services department is what you will get when you go to Mid-City Toyota!

Great service, the service guys have always been kind and helpful. They informed me how long it would be and finished short of it. They provided the documents I needed. I easily got a quote for another service. I'm glad they are in the area so I could get a recall for my Toyota's registration done before it was due. I got an appointment the next day when I called in the afternoon.

This place is a rip off. It cost me $1500 for a tuneup. Yes they quoted me this number but they did NOTHING but diagnostics. The labor and parts was like $600. (I had recently had my oil changed so that was not even included!) All I could picture was several cars hooked up to diagnostic computers and each owner being charged $150 per hour. It's a racket that they know they can get away with as they are the only game in town (I was living in Crescent City at the time.) I believe in getting serviced at Toyota dealers for my Highlander but am rethinking because I am tired of being ripped off and taken advantage of.

Bought my Tacoma here earlier this year.. built it online and showed up for the appointment.. Could not have been a better buying experience unless someone else payed for my truck. Have been back for the scheduled service, it was on time and done quicker then expected... I Would highly recommend coming here and I'll be back for another one in about 72k miles...

This place is a scam. Brought our car to get checked, saw it parked in the parking lot without anyone checking it and got charged for the hour it was parked there as they "checked" it. They said a part was broken and needed to be replaced.Brought it to a trusted mechanic who said the part wasn't broken at all.The trusted mechanic quoted $250 for a replacement, but this dealership quoted $800.This place is a scam. DO NOT trust them to do any maintenance on your vehicle. They will scam you, they won't check your vehicle.

Went to get my ac fix. Was quoted for 700. After three weeks, I ended with 3k bills for fixing my ac system. They were like oh its this, it's that, Maybe it's this, maybe it's that but we're not sure what it is. The service guy was like I don't know what you want me to do. I was like why u asking me that, like if I knew what was the problem I would never brought it there. You guys were supposed to be the expert. lol Got charge for like 5 Diagnose. Like really you have to run that much for an ac system. I'll just go for my regular maintenance only. Other then that I'll look somewhere else.

Good Toyota service here. The service staff is too small for the size of the dealership. I wait too long to drop off and pick up my car. They used to wash the vehicles that they serviced but quit for the drought and never got word that the drought ended.
