Stopped by just to look at a couple cars and ended up getting a good deal and buying a Forester. So happy with the way things worked out. Buying a car can be stressful but the guys at McCrea Subaru are down to earth and not the typical car salesman... Would recommend to anyone looking for a car. They will take care of you. I received an oil change and a tire rotation. They were very quick and polite but they did not put a sticker in the window telling me when my next oil change will be and my radio station was changed. Next time I will put my vehicle in valet mode.

I can't say enough about the service department here. I am from out of town and took my car to get an oil change. From start to finish this was a wonderful experience. Shannon was phenomenal on the phone when scheduling me and giving me directions. The service advisor Jesse was excellent. I also needed new rear brakes which they were able to do at that time thankfully. They also advised me that I had salt coating the bottom of my car (thanks to cruising across the salt flats in Utah) and suggested a local car wash to wash it off and the importance. Highly recommend their service department.

James Wilkinson in the maintenence department is amazing! He assisted our family with an engine replacement and dealing with the warranty company. He was always there to answer my questions regardless of how many times I called. He also was quick to call me back if he was in the middle of something when I called. TOP NOTCH customer service right there!

Service department was efficient. I dropped my car off for a routine oil change and inspection. Additionally, the car needed an update to the informatics system. This was completed as well. I was kept advised and on the status of the work being done. This is my second Subaru from this dealership and the service department has been great. Wonderful staff.

Service center is the very best I ve ever experienced and that s a lot coming from me since I grew up with my father working in the car industry! Ken and Jesse welcomed this out of towner on a long road trip and not only explained exactly what the issue is with my car, but logged and documented it for me when I get to my hometown dealer. Then, Ken helped me get information on Crater Lake which is where we were headed and then recommended an awesome restaurant which our family thoroughly enjoyed (thank you Ken for the cranberry bread recommendation too). I can t say enough great things about this place the only bad thing is they aren t my hometown service center! With gratitude and appreciation!!!

Had a great experience with Sage and the team. I submitted an inquiry online and they contacted me right away. They brought the vehicle down to Fortuna so I could test drive it! Very professional and kind. Later that day, Sage made a second trip to Fortuna to pick me up and take me to the dealership to sign the paperwork. I was able to drive my new vehicle home the same day. They made the process easy and hassle free. I would definitely recommend McCrea to friends and family.

Best auto service ever! I've been coming here for years, with various cars. They are friendly, professional and efficient, and go out of their way to solve any problems. Once they even worked on my son's car before they opened, as we had a problem with the radiator and he had to drive back to Oregon to college that same day. I highly recommend the service department at McCrea Subaru!

Sage Highinson should teach classes in customer service! He knows his product - but most of all, he knows how to listen to his customer! I stopped by on Saturday to check out a Suburu Cross Trek (after being a loyal Honda customer for many years). I drove out just a short while later a newly loyal Suburu/Sage customer. I m an older woman and I have found some car salesmen to be condescending NOT SAGE!! He made the entire sales process easy, simple, painless!

We love this place. JP was a great salesman. He was helpful with all our questions and he was not pushy in any way. They have several arcade games for kids (and adults). Their new and used selection is great for Humboldt County. Treat drive a Subaru today.

Do not buy anything in this location they are a bunch of crooks and will take your money if you look unsuspecting. This dealership took advantage of my situation by selling me something I could never use.I purchased a oil change warranty to cover me for five years however they did not Inform me that I could not use the warranty at any other Subaru dealership location.I was very clear with the dealership letting them know that I was moving out of town and thought my warranty covered at another Subaru dealership.$900 down the drain and I never received any of my oil changes. Do not buy from these crooks they will take your money and run.

I made an appointment to have an oil service and any other needs for an18k mile check up. I was delayed in returning to the area, contacted the dealer explained my situation and the appointment postponed for one day. I was notified by text that my appointment was a go, scheduled and affirmed the time. Upon arrival at the service location, the usual check in process started and about 1/2 way through another representative came to the counter and told me they could not service the vehicle because I had flown.Regardless, the information was known and could have been discussed thoroughly over the phone and providing their rationale to cancel my appointment. Instead, I spent travel time and arrangements to leave my car for the service, only to arrive and be told they couldn't service the vehicle. Poor service communication. Would it have been prudent to tell me this over the phone when discussing the situation the day prior to the appointment.. To me it is appalling that organizations do not have any regard for consumers. I really would have been understanding if they had told me the day before or prior to arrival. This behavior is not acceptable.

We are from the Bay Area. We were moving the grandkids up to Arcata for school. The Subaru axle bearings on right side went out. Husband is a journeyman mechanic could have fixed ourselves but no tools. Took it to Subaru, thinking it s a dealer they would have the parts and trusted a dealership not being from the area. Took it in on the 5th as we were leaving and before we got home they said it would be 1,100 dollars to repair. My husband knew it was too much for the job so took it to Napa care center and they charged half as much. They charged my grandson 185.00 for diagnostic. No test drive, no putting on rack because you can t see the axle taking off the wheel. I called and talked to Shannon, she said Ken Gordon the manager would return soon and call me. That was Monday, the 11th, today is the 14th. I get they wrote up an invoice so charge me for 15 minutes, but they charged for an hour for nothing. Sad, taking advantage of students and seniors.

Not only do I love driving my new 2018 Crosstrek, both in town and on road trips, but the service department is pretty awesome as well. I've been in other dealerships where I have felt like a second class citizen because I am a woman. Not here! The guys were great, helpful, had a nice sense of humor, and did an excellent job of servicing my car. It was only in for an oil change, but they performed a whole series of checks on it - which a) nicely surprised me, and b) made me feel even safer driving the car. Double thumbs up for McCrea Subaru Service Department!!

My daughter recently experienced significant issues caused by a shoddy service she received at another garage. The folks at McCrae Subaru diagnosed her problems and worked with her every step of the way in getting her car back on the road. They were also able to perform a few extra unrelated repairs at no cost to her. She is 900 miles away from her mom and I (dad) so it was difficult for us to provide much help. Ken Gordon stepped in and really took her under his wings and made all of the difference for her. We can't say enough good things about the entire organization. They truly care about their customers and prove it daily.

This is my first Subaru. The only reason I considered a Subaru is because a friend spoke highly of all Subaru's. I ended up test driving my Forester twice and Charlie, the car salesman, was so nice and accommodating. Once I made the decision to buy, everything ran smoothly. I would definitely buy from them again! I have recommended them to everyone who has commented on my new Forester.

I'm very happy and pleased that my car purchase with McCrea Subaru ran smoothly! Thank you to JP and Shawn for making me comfortable and safe during this pandemic. JP took me on a test drive plus thourghly went through all the safety features in the car. It's really nice to have a vehicle that I know is dependable on the road and fun to drive. The guys who work at McCrea Subaru have fun so much so that i want to retire and go hang out there, drink coffee every day and mix it up. Their work is supreme. They listen, they get your car for you if it's raining, they remember your name. Sheesh, it's the best service I receive anywhere, in any business. The workmanship is consistently beyond my expectations, the cost is always a little less than the estimate and i never feel they make up things to meet service quotas. Heck, these guys don't have to. People line up to bring their vehicles in there. Sometimes they'll just fix things when you drive in thinking you're there to schedule an appointment for a repair. Okay, I'll shut up now in saying, five's just not enough stars for this crew. They're more like a 10! Thank you, guys, you truly are the best
