I would recommend this place to everyone and anyone. Not only do they do good work, but they are also very friendly, personable, and helpful. I had a really difficult problem with my Tacoma ABS with insurance and they worked with me so much during this stressful time. They are honest and straight forward and stand by their word. I was more than happy working with them compared to working with Mid-City. I would recommend Eureka Break over the dealership any day. Thank you Eureka Break for your help.

Always great service! Bryna is always a pleasure to speak with and always greets her guests with a smile. The technicians are also very knowledgeable and honest from the past 3 years I ve had my vehicle serviced here. I am always pleased with their phone call updates and fast service. In all seriousness, Derek is the best! This guy goes out of his way to make sure that everything is done to your satisfaction, and that applies to all of the people working there. It's a little tucked out of the way, but well worth the hunt!

Positives: Friendly receptionist who went above and beyond, shuttle service, willing to allow me to use family member discount at auto part store after initially saying they do not do thisNegatives: Found 3 bolts under the hood, initially failed to tell me that after they resurfaced front rotors it would take time for brakes to adhere to rotors so I may still hear sounds when braking. Supposedly did oil change but 1 week later heard rattling sound, checked oil and had auto part store check to be sure and dipstick showed just under low and came out black. Had to buy oil (They did have me bring car back in next day to supposedly put bolts on undercarriage where they claim they came from??? Test drove car to address my concern about braking noise and said I can bring back if continues).Most likely normal wear and tear but definitely worth mentioning: 1 week later my check engine light came on and scanner indicates B1 Sensor 2 needs replacementFinal thoughts: Definitely won't be taking my car back to EB&A to do this repair or any other repair. My trust in them is so low now! # I can't even, #proceed with caution # multiple people in the industry asked me why I took my car there, and said BIG MISTAKE!!!!

After 20+ years of excellent, friendly, and compassionate service, I reluctantly had to leave the Eureka area.I still bring my minivan back for regular diagnostics and preventative maintenence. They are thorough, trustworthy, and willing to work around my schedule and personal needs.I highly reccomend Eureka Brake & Automotive both to locals and to travellers experiencing unexpected breakdowns.

This is the most professional, timely, and caring Auto company in Eureka! Their service was amazing and their staff is friendly and very helpful. They helped my family when we were going through a tough time and are so compassionate. They are care about their work and community! I would recommend them for all Auto needs!

Being a first time Jeep owner and a girl comes with ups and down. When I called my local 4 wheel shop and they told me they didnt do warranty work I asked them for a referral. They sent me to Eureka Brake & Automotive. I was very happy with the service, quickness and consistant communication. So when my transmission went out recently I knew exactly where to take my vehicle. I went in with a laundry list of issues. Due to warranty companies, adjusters and negotiations the repairs took a little longer than anticipated but Bill was great at keeping me updated on what was going on and explaining further when asked. He was very patient with me towards the end when I was calling every couple days for an update. I will continue to trust the team at Eureka Brake & Automotive with my beloved Jeep Wrangler, Betty.Services: Electrical repair, Steering & suspension replacement, Transmission replacement

Wow. The first thing you should know is these folks really mean business. They have nearly mastered everything that encompasses customer service, professionalism, and quality workmanship.I called a few days ahead to schedule my van for a full brake inspection and a hefty repair ticket.I dropped it off first thing in the morning and they immediately got to work as they knew I couldn't wait til Monday.First if all I was thoroughly satisfied with, and confident in Logan's diagnoses over the phone and his exploratory line of questioning that led me to believe he really knew what he was talking about. I felt good that I had picked the rught shop to take care of my van in the time alotted and without being oversold unnecessary services.A few hours after I dropped off my ride (And was given a ride back to my hotel by their courtesy shuttle!!) I was called back by Logan to discuss what all I needed to have done.He helped me cherry pick the most important repairs to keep me safe, while staying in my budget. I don't have the luxury of paying with credit or waiting a few days longer for parts, so they went above and beyond to search high and low for a used or new, or compatible part I needed. Going to far as to send guys to another town searching.That really impressed me.Another thing that really impressed me was the willingness of the owners, Steve and Lacee to get deeply involved and even get their hands dirty when necessary.It shows they really do care about the customer and they put service above all else.I walked all the way back to the shop when my phone died mid day and I knew there was still some discussing and deciding to be done. Lacee then dropped what she was doing to personally give me a ride back to my hotel, where I was picked up again by them a few hours later to go retrieve my vehicle.This is such a big deal to me. I was in an unfamiliar town, with no other mode of ttansport, and no credit card to use uber.I could continue singing their praises for another 2000 words but the main point of it all is, these folks will treat you right. They will go out if their way to give you the best possible service. And they will do it all in an honest upfront way that really builds trust and confidence.I hope you find this review, and I hope you at least give them a call before deciding on a shop. Give them a fair chance and they will likely blow you away.

They really saved me and my car.I'd been in and out of shops for months with my car constantly breaking on my 2 hour drive to work!!! They were finally able to diagnose the blown head gasket, got me fixed, and back on the road again. I am proud to say that it's been 500 miles since I was last here. And my car sounds very happy.Very polite and amazing front desk staff and mechanic. And I called him all the time for updates. And I really appreciated how much time he spent explaining everything to me.Highly recommend, even if they are on the expensive side, it's worth the peace of mind that it will get done right.

I m very much pleased with the service I received and the fact they kept in contact with me throughout the repair work that ran into a few snags with my vehicle and finding parts. Eureka Brake & Automotive is not only professional & courteous when you call them, they get your car in usually within a day. I've always had a good interaction with whomever I'm dealing with & recently the mechanic who worked on my car went out of his way to help reduce the costs of back to back problems that occurred on two consecutive weeks. I thought that was so kind, as he didn't have to mention it. The fact they are willing to work with you is really important, the service is 5 star & I've never had a negative issue with them these many years. AND they have a shuttle van for those of us who need a ride! They offer a AAA 10% discount on labor & send you other perks & discounts as valued customers. All that is really helpful! I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for competent, professional, courteous and pleasant people in this type of business.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I had my Mitsubishi endeavour alignment fixed at this location. It was fairly inexpensive and quick. Bryna gave me a ride home so I didn't have to wait the hour it took to do an alignment for all 4 wheels. Shane was very friendly and through while explaining what they did to my vechile. I'll absolutely use them in the future very friendly personable staff that went out of thier way to be accommodating and helpful with me. I recently moved here and Bryna was even suggesting places to apply and had alot of empathy towards me. Thankyou guys for everything I appreciate it

These guys are absolute champions. We got towed here after our Subaru broke down on Monday evening. They were able to look it over first thing in the morning and quickly let us know the issue. Unfortunately, we weren't able to afford the repairs (because our engine was totally shot), but they were nice enough to let us store the car there for a couple days until we could make arrangements to move it, and they were even nice enough to help us load our sad broken car onto the trailer and secure it for transport. Thank you to Shane, Austin and Derek for all your help and kindness!

I ve been having issues with the brakes in my truck not feeling responsive, so I brought it in to see if they could figure out what was wrong. They performed a full inspection, adjusted the rear drum brakes, performed a brake system flush/bleed and recommended replacing the front rotors and pads due to glazing caused by high brake temps. I will be doing the pads and rotors myself, but even after the adjustments and bleed they performed my brakes feel way better, more responsive and less squishy. Service was top notch.Service: Brakes

I went to Eureka Brake because they had sent me a coupon but the service I received was really top notch. Everyone was friendly yet very professional. They had a comfortable waiting room.The mechanic called me with an estimate and an explanation of the problem (not as bad as I had thought). The bill was reasonable and the work was done quickly and efficiently.I m going back next week to have more work done on my Subaru.Services: Engine repair, Brakes

Fast, friendly and very reasonably priced. Broke down on hwy1 and AAA towed my vehicle here because the driver said it was the best place around. Arrived late and stayed at a motel. This repair shop is honest and was quick with diagnostics on my car. They let me know that my car's repairs were above and beyond cost what the car was worth and told me where to go to scrap it. Although I couldn't salvage the car, I was appreciative that they let me know before I started making repairs. Since the scrap yard wasn't open, they let me keep my vehicle in their lot over the weekend free of charge.Bonus, they are AAA approved and completely covid compliant. I appreciate their professionalism and will be going to them from now on. I 100% will be recommending them to anyone looking for a quality repair shop.

I brought my car in for a simple testing of the coolant system and they told me what I needed to find out but didn t have the tools to determine for sure. It was quick and efficient and they provided me with multiple quotes for different things and options. They were very friendly and treated me with respect. I appreciate that for sure and although I m gonna try to be my own mechanic for the most part I ll be back if there something I can t tackle or diagnose myself in the future thanks guys. I had called around to speak to knowledgeable mechanics in the area about bringing in my Subaru to have the check engine light diagnosed. And so glad I called and spoke to Derek. He was able to look at my car later that day, had the parts ordered and repaired and my car was ready to pick up the next morning.The staff and mechanics are honest, trust worthy and did great work. I m with a fire engine that needed our emergency brake tighten up. They were able to get it in right away. They took a look and found it would take a lot more time and a bit more extensive to get the job done than what we were looking for. They didn t charge us for the job of estimate. For it being only taking the tires off to see what kind of system it was. We were blessed to find real friendly people of value.We hooked them up fire swag :)

HelloWe live in Southern Humboldt, We re always in need of more services in our community...appointments, here, are sometimes weeks in advance...We ve had the need to use Eureka Brake and Automotive 3 or 4 times. Not only, were we told to come in early the next day, but from the front desk to the service managers/ mechanics.....We were always given clear and concise information on our cars, cost, future maintenance needs and keeping us quickly informed with new discoveries,..Even though the drive is almost 70 miles to Eureka, We going to schedule more visits to Eureka Brake and Automotive..Thanks for AskingDoug and Ruth BattlesService: General repairs & maintenance

I brought in a van for a new belt and tensioner. They identified some additional problems and made no fuss when I opted not to have them fixed. They were professional and polite, and the price was very fair. They helped us a great deal by getting the work done quickly so we could get back on the road the same day. We took a chance on them and we are glad we did!

Was quoted 1500 for a clutch job, took it to simply performance who quoted my 800. When confronted, they said they could go as low as 1300. Save yourself the time and money, go with someone else.FYI - They also ran a starter test and missed my bad spark plugs. I guess they don't know how to diagnose old trucks!

This place is wonderful. Had a check engine light come on. Took the car to them to check it out. Turned out it was the same problem that they repaired a couple of months ago. They did the repair again under warranty. I didn't even have to ask about warranty repair, they told me it was covered under warranty. No hassles at all!! They worked my repair into their busy schedule. I had my car back in three days, including waiting for the necessary parts to be ordered and received. This is a great shop!! They are professional, friendly, honest and they honor their warranty with out any hassle. These guys are fantastic!!Service: Engine repair

How often do you find great service, professionalism, honesty and integrity at a car repair center?Eureka Brake has a great team, Steve, Walker, Karma, Ryan and others. They take excellent care of people and provide true value. The staff are easy to work with and schedule appointments, are well trained and they do not take advantage of customers or pad the bill! The shop is very clean and shows pride of ownership.In our case, they checked out a potential oil leak in my car and didn't charge me for an inspection, where other shops would have. My wife's BMW needed brakes before our move and they set us up immediately with an appointment and made sure the car was safe for the drive and move. Eureka Brakes goes the extra mile!I highly recommend them!

Only took 1 day, price was very reasonable, and result is like having a new car! Both drop off and pick up times were after closing time, but staff was still very accommodating, pleasant, and helpful.
