My old, first-car Honda was having a really bad time and it was time for an upgrade. That car had a large number of issues but still they took it in for trade and got a margin of my price knocked down! Not only that but they were kind enough to buy the parts for me to fix up the very minor issues the car did have! Tom over there is a truly empathetic and kind person and I'm very glad he helped me through the process.I opted to do the repairs myself and she's running like a dream, significantly better than my old Honda making blender noises on the highway.I see a lot of older reviews speaking in disappointment, and I know that not everyone's experience will always be the same. However, I would like to express my gratitude for how my experience went.I would recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a good car with a good price. Though, I'd say with them as I would with any other dealer, take the car on a test drive and have a PERSONAL (not a shop) mechanic inspect the vehicle. They'd likely want you to do that first as well, a lot of shops will upcharge you around here. They told me to bring it back if I had any issues so they could try themselves before taking it to another shop. I'd say that'd be your best bet, my experience proves to me that they cared about my time with a new car and not just a dollar sign.Inspect it first, then talk about how you can work a deal out that'll benefit the both of you. They're good people, give them kindness.

Oh they are sneaky! Not Cool!IF I could give them 0 Stars I would!I was aware of many horrible reviews BUT I wanted to give them a chance. They failed! On February 21, 2022, around 10 am I took a test drive of an 2012 Nissan Quest. I took the vehicle to my mechanic and the report came back that this vehicle was NOT SAFE TO DRIVE.It had the following issues attached.I submitted my findings to Eureka Auto Wholesale and they seemed generally concerned. Though later that night I noticed the car was still on their website.Today, February 22, 2022, around 11 am my co-worker called Eureka Auto Wholesale and asked if the vehicle was available and if she could take it out for a test drive. They said YES! Unbelievable! This vehicle shouldn't be driven. It's not safe! This company has been made aware of the situation and they are not doing anything about it.I have reported them to the BBB.Don't give them your business unless you make sure the car checks out from a 3rd party mechanic.

All the negative stuff you think about a "bad used car dealership" is manifest in this business.A. The name itself is misleading and makes no sense. They don't deal in wholesale, and their prices are based on Kelley Blue Book values or higher. There is no deal here.B. When we bought a car from them, they told us they had performed a standard maintenance check on the vehicle and replaced all the fluids, and that everything checked out. Great. But when we took it to a mechanic after purchasing it, he showed us that all the fluids desperately needed replacing (including the oil, which was literally black). The car also needed $3000 worth of repairs (4 out of 6 engine mounts were completely cracked and detached, all four brake pads were dead, the tire sensors had been completely removed (?), the trunk didn't latch right because of an UNREPORTED accident, which also resulted in there being no spare tire or jack, etc.) In short, the car was a completely lemon.C. That said, the salesman was very nice and seemingly empathetic. The kind of person who, I suspect, has a hard time sleeping at night, knowing he's part of a truly terrible operation, but maybe can't get out? I don't know. I don't really want to know. All I want is to protect other people who may be considering buying from this company.Don't walk away, RUN. You will be burned.

Please!! Do not buy from them! They assure you all vehicles are safety checked and smog checked and have no problems.Unfortunately, I bought a car here. After one week driving the check engine light came on. I drove the car off the lot and the only thing they did is to reset the lights car panel with some code reader tool. The check engine light came on again within a few days. After asking them to fix the problems, they didn t want to do anything else with the car and they basically told me to deal with it.I took the car to the shop in Arcata and they found out the car needed over $5000 worth of work to get it running properly. Some of the many parts to be fix were the Catalytic Converters which have to be in perfect conditions to pass the smog check. Somehow, they managed to pass the smog test with the car in that condition. To me that is suspicious. It's up to you If you don t want to believe what I said. However, if you absolutely need to get a car from them, make sure to bring it to another shop to look over the vehicle before you buy it. It will save you a lot of money. The cost for inspections in any shop is around $120 - $220. This is nothing compared to the thousands dollars you probably will have to spend to repair it.Do not take their word that a mechanic checked the vehicle, they are dishonest and deceitful, do not purchase a car from them!!!!

My daughter bought a Toyota 4runner in February 2018 in just one month later it's in the shop needing new brake rotors, front and back brakes, a transmission flush,They didn't even sell here the vehicle with a fresh oil change, They said they only top it off if needed, she is a single mother with two young children, she paid them $6900 cash,I'm reporting them to the bureau of automotive repair today, Please don't buy from this dealership, They don't care about your safety whatsoever. That's why on their reviews they only have 2 out of 5 stars. Very unprofessional and unbelievable.

Cheap cars. Bought the 30 day / 1,000 mile warranty, car didn't make it 24 hours or 100 miles with out dying. Once they had the engine work done, it came back with the dash electronics shorted and glitching out, and a heavy shaking at 55 mph. Took it back to their shop, and was told it's not covered under the 30 day warranty. Just spend $3,400 on a car I've been able to drive home four times in 3 weeks! Go somewhere that actually knows what's going on with the vehicles they sell, and isn't just trying to make a percentage off of auto auctions.

I was looking for a car and had been for about a year. I had never heard of Eureka Auto whole sale so my husband and I stopped there to look around. The staff was very friendly, but not pushy. We found an '03 Nissan Altima that my husband loved. I was not so sure how I felt about it and I said no to the car. Tom (who took us for a test drive) let me know that if I changed my mind I could call and put a deposit on the car, which is what I did the next day. I paid $5000 out the door. The dealership paid for the tags and gave a 30 day warranty. I had some minor problems and they got me right in and fixed the car the same day. I would totally recommend buying a car here.

I bought a car for 5,000. Paid in cash. It's been two months and I still have not recieved the registration or anything for that matter. It has been 8 weeks. After I bought the car. I started noticing more and more problems. There was a valve cover gasket leak. It was burning oil really bad. The radiator housing was damaged. Luckily I didn't blow my engine. The timing belt was extremely worn. And same with the pullys. Luckily I had a family friend fix the problems. Just for the repairs I was looking at a good 1,800 dollars! If not more. I'd highly recommend going elsewhere to buy a car. The cars are cheap for the price but not reliable.

I bought a 02 Outback from them and 6 days later it needed a thermostat. They agreed to fix it under warranty but I had to pay $95 for towing it there. After taking it to my mechanic I noticed a lot more was wrong with it. It needed steering rod boots for both sides, had an oil leak, had an antifreeze leak, the window would creak and crack when I rolled it down, A/C didn't work, I had a fog light and license plate light out, 2 leaking tires, a left turn signal that only worked sometimes, my brakes were old, and my cruise control didn't work. He agreed to fix the tires and recharge the A/C so far (I'm still in the process of negotiating). My friend bought a 4 Runner there shortly before me and they love it so I guess it's hit and miss

My daughter bought a car there and it had a 30 day warranty. During that 30 days her check engine light came on multiple times and she brought it in to them to have it looked at and they did not address any problems it had or even check what the problems were they just shut off the light. She worked REALLY hard to get this car as it was her first car and I was not able to help her financially. It has only been about 4 months since she bought the car and it needs a whole new engine. I called just to calmly inform Eureka Auto Wholesale and the manager hung up the phone on me. I would not buy a car here they are crooks.

I didn't like this place at all. I bought a car there before and it is still alright, but today my brother and I went in and a guy named Darrell started being aggressive towards us. Stating that we only test drive without buying the cars. Well of course we aren't going to buy a bad car. He then started telling us to go somewhere else. So we did and I recommend no one go there.

Brent was nice and welcoming, allowed us to test drive several cars. He answered all of our questions and we decided to make a purchase. Didnt even get 100 miles put on the vehicle and the check engine light came on. Made an appt at McCrea Nissan for a week later. Wouldn't you know it, catalytic converter failure. Wow i was shocked! Drive less than 100 miles on the car in town throughout a period of 3 days and had to shell out $1350 more to replace the catalytic converter. Muffler shop said they had 4 other customers who purchased recently from here and tbey had to replace the same part on the vehicles they bought. Something fishy going on at Eureka Auto Wholesale. BEWARE buyers. The "30 day warranty" at this place only applies to what very limited ability they have to repair in house. Dont get sucked in! Will never buy here again and surely will never recommend them to anyone. Bad business practices

I bought a vehicle from here it was a 2012 Ford focus i had it for 3wks when the transmission mount broke which broke the CV axle! I bought it as is but there is this thing called lemon law and they weren't even going to do anything about it at all... I'm going to take them to court on this because I don't know why they think they are going to get away with it! So careful if you choose to buy a car from here

I bought a car to have the tires blow shortly after. Then noticed a oil leak wich was a cam seal. A costly fix. Then a thermostat sensor followed by the transmission starting to fail. Eureka auto wholesale and it's employees are crooks. I wouldn't deal with them I just wasted 2500$ on car and 600$ in repairs not to mention the bad tires...not the tread but they were weathered and unsafe, the tire shop employee said they must have been super old. Save your money and buy a vehicle somewhere else. When I called the salesmen he said cars are mechanical and offered no help. So unprofessional and rude after the purchase.

When searching for a truck, the salesman Brent, was unprofessional with how un polite he was and hovered the whole time. The truck didn't run well and he said it did.The old guy is really cool and makes it worth 3 stars tho but Brent brings down the company and would recommend not to talk to him about any cars or buisness

The cars are not actually smog checked and they have way too many miles on them for the price point. Cars are expensively priced and unreliable. Never shop here, listen to all the reviews.

Do not recommend purchasing from here. You re putting your family in danger if you do. They do not answer complaints or concerns, just avoid and make you run in circles. I know multiple people who have bought cars and only days later had irreparable issues with them.

Don't do it! I recently purchased a 2003 Jeep liberty here, paid in cash, in full. Three days after purchase the car displayed nine separate obd codes for a broken radiator, electrical problems, windows not opening, it leaked through the roof, the abs brakes were disabled at the fuse box, ignition coils failing,i was handed from person to person on every call finally to be told that I hadn't purchased a warranty, which was never offered. My mother age 72 and i, a disabled person, victimised by a fly by night Enterprise using predatory business tactics to sell substandard merchandise.

Although I purchased a Suburban at a great price, I'm a bit disappointed with the follow-up service of this dealership. I paid CASH, in full, for my vehicle; I am not a "Buy Here / Pay Here" client. The title work has taken forever to finish. The sales staff has no idea where the paperwork is, DMV has no record of the paperwork even being filed. I'm still driving on temp paperwork after 45 days from purchase!DMV says it should have only taken a maximum of 2 weeks to complete the sale/registration transaction and that I should have had my permanent plates by now.IF you purchase from Eureka Auto Wholesale, make sure they have the title to your purchase ON SITE! It would be best to take your own paperwork up to DMV Eureka and process the paperwork, yourself! This dealer can't seem to process anything fast. So, in short, the vehicles they have are decent, but their follow-up service is lacking.

You have to be smart and you have to accept that you're getting an old car. But they are straight forward and not shady at all. Highly recommend if you are looking for a cheap type car.

I bought a 2002 Ford Focus. I took it to Leon's to have a pre-purchase inspection. The Inspection cleared. Never the Less, a day later, the check Engine Light came on. I took it to Eureka Auto Whole Sale. They plugged it in. I needed a new Catalytic Converter. Woah! But Allen took care of it for me. Even without a warenty. I definitely recommend Eureka Auto Whole Sale.
