Went in first thing in the morning to get a smog and oil change and was greeted by every person I saw. They took my car immediately and gave me a very short time estimate of 2 hours, which amazingly is how long it took!I have never had such a short wait time for any car maintenance. It usually takes a shop 2 hours to plug in the diag machine and tell you an error code. The price was also extremely fair, far less than any big chain shop even when using 'coupons'.If you are tired of being haggled and conned by the big auto shops and want good, friendly service with the family feel, this is the place to go!

Great customer service and was honest about the issues for my vehicle. I saw 2 bad reviews posted here. Ignore them, they fit statistically with that small percentage of people you can never make happy. Moe and his team is very professional.

Me and my family have been taking our cars to Moe for over 5 years and we see no one else BECAUSE we've been everywhere and not one other person/ place was as honest, quick, empathetic, or as reliable, as this place has been. He is honest about what work needs to be done, he provides photos of things if you need it for insurance and warranties. He provides itemized receipts and transparent prices BEFORE I pay. He doesn't beat around the bush. He has helped me with my kia soul 2016 for roughly 3 years straight each time it's had issues. Finally it needed a new engine entirely and he was able to get me the lowest prices, quickest service, and I had a my car like new in less than 2 weeks. He honors warranties and tells you when other shops have lied to you but he will provide proof. ANOTHER SHOP SCREWED ME OVER WITH MY CATALYTIC converter, and moe was able to find me the right part for less money and a better warranty from the manufacturers themselves. If you are from here or an out of towner needing help, either way, bring your car here if you want to not break the bank or lose your car. First time coming here recommended by a coworker, i highly recommend road star auto! Moe is a great guy great customer service great staff they are highly professionals they know what their doing, prices are reasonable! And most important their all about quality work and customer satisfaction! Im so glad i came here next day repair so easy to work with. These people are straight up scam artists, 300 dollars for an transmission fluid change, when the dealer was charging me 224, might as well take it there

Exchanging info was fast & easy as a first time customer, price was affordable for a last-minute job, and they have a nice waiting area if you don t have a ride! I was referred to this shop by a longtime resident of Escondido. Top notch staff and honest! I went in for a leak and the technician took the time to walk me through what the issue was and also showed me prior to providing the quote. Once we agreed on the conduct of the repairs, I was out in roughly 3 hours (same day). I highly recommend you take your business to this establishment. Road Star is my go-to place for auto repair. The owner is Moe and he is awesome. They have always done a great job on my vehicles. If you have work done and begin having the same type problems again, even several months after having repairs done there, they will let you bring it right back in and fix at a huge discount. All the employees are nice, courteous, and helpful. They will go out of their way to accommodate you. My experience there was great and I'm sure yours will be too. I highly recommend Road Star Auto to anyone looking to get a car or truck fixed.

Moe the owner is a very nice guy, works hard for his money and to put out a good service to his customers . He helped my girlfriend and I save money on our alignment and while talking about getting new tires he was able to provide better tires with a warranty for the same price as our best quoted price. Good guy, great service. Will definitely be returning and recommending his shop.

Moe was extremely helpful and more than willing to go the extra mile for my fianc� and I. It was fast and easy and very well worth the price of the alignment! He also is going to do a follow up on 2-3 weeks to make sure everything is still great! He even found tires and is going to install them for us on Monday at a better price than everyone else!

I always come here for my smog test, the employees are always polite and knowledgeable. I haven't had any other mechanical work done in this place but I have asked them about a couple of concerns on my cars and they are more than willing to help. They are always quick in doing my smog test and they always offer a coffee or drink while you wait.

This place is great. It is not cheap or anything but they fix your car up nice. Moe is a stand-up guy and the rest of the organization is very professional and nice. I also like the system they have where they can email you all invoices with descriptions on each item. This helps you make a more informed decision.

The guy that worked on my car was great. I went in for an alignment, but he told me that since my wheel bearing is old and needs to be changed to do that first. He spent a good while working on my car trying to align the wheels anyways, and didn't charge me for the service since he could not get it to align properly. This shows me that they are honest about their work, and sincerely care about their clients.

Every time I take in one of my vehicles to Road Star Auto, Moe is there and ready to help with any issues I am having. About 4 years ago I started using him to get my vehicles smogged, and then realized how much more he can do. His expertise and honesty is what makes Road Star a place worth going to. Moe definitely possesses the skills to get the job done and is dedicated to making his customers happy. Just recently I had even taken my RV to him to get it serviced and smogged. Not once have I been unsatisfied with pricing or the quality of work. In fact they have shocked me several times on how quick they got me back on the road. Excellent place to go for smog and auto repair. I'd recommend RoadStar Auto to anyone who isn't sure about their current mechanic.

I brought my car in to have the a/c repaired several years ago. Excellent service, fair prices, friendly, professional, and informative. Most importantly, I felt like I could trust the owner.I need my truck serviced now. So, I'm going out of my way to drive back up to Escondido to have them repair it. That is how much I trust them.

We can not say enough good things about Moe the owner of Road Star Auto. My husband and I have taken our vehicles to Moe for the past two or three years. We couldn't be happier with the service he provides. Moe is an honest guy trying to make a living without gouging his customers or doing unnecessary repairs. We trust him and haven't had any issues after the repair or maintenance that either he or his crew has performed. We give Road Star Auto 5 stars!

When my engine light was on and I had to get my car smogged before registering it this past summer, Road Star Auto owner, Moe Jorbezeh and his guys were able to help me out and get things done in a few days. Moe and his guys were attentive to the problems that I have with my car besides my engine light, but was not pushy like other places are. He gave me a fair price and worked fast and even referred me to a location nearby where I was able to get my registration completed and taken care of, which saved me a trip to the DMV. I was grateful for that as well as the timeliness and professionalism that he and his employees extended to me.Even though this shop is more than 20 miles away, I would take my vehicle to this place, as I know that I will get good service the job will be well done.

I like Moe and his team very much from my experience. He's a fun guy to talk to. His team gets the job done neatly and efficiently. If anything goes wrong (which happened only one time to me), he's happy to fix it quickly. So I recommend Road Start to you.

Have been going to Moe for years--wife, self, son--different vehicles, different problems. Always had a great experience. Want my advice: Go to Roadstar for honest, personable, efficient, reasonable service. Roadstar's the best.

When my ball joints failed I brought it to Road Star thinging a total front end job would be a couple thousand. When they called with the price I was dhocked it was so cheap and it included replacing all of the joints. I cant recommend this place enough. They will be my mechanic from now on.
