Outstanding experience from start to finish. Sean greeted me as soon as I pulled into the Service Center. Got me logged in, showed me all the amenities were while I was waiting for my 10K service to be completed. Very nice waiting area: clean, comfortable, and with Wi-Fi. Orlando performed the maintenance and then texted me an excellent video of what he saw. Granted this was only a 10K maintenance, which was only an oil change, tire rotation, and some inspection items, but I was thoroughly impressed with how the service department presented itself. Until proven otherwise, this will be my service home.

I arrived on time for appointment, Anita helped me. She listened to my concern & provided a lot of good feedback. She forwarded video mechanic sent her & promptly followed up by finding me in the waiting room to discuss mechanics concern.Service took a bit longer than I hoped but she told me upon arrival service dept. was short handed that day and apologized.Anita is a good communicator & I felt comfortable. I was very pleased with the customer service upon arrival. Charles S. was extremely helpful, and I was explained in detail the work needed on my car. I have an older Mazda 3, 2010, very low mileage, so am always skeptical when work might be needed. Charles directed me to the lounge area, and it is very comfortable, with free water, coffee, etc. I was kept updated on possible issues. I was given a complimentary vehicle since mine would be there for a day to await parts. My only small issue is that I brought the car in clean, vacuumed inside. I had my cabin air filter replaced; therefore, I thought any debris that had come out of the filter area would be cleaned up. Upon entering my car, the passenger side mat had a lot of dirt and leaf debris left. I always thought after any maintenance technicians have a responsibility to clean the area. Maybe this is done to new cars only? I'm old school, so thought this was a common practice after any maintenance. I contacted Charles after the fact, he apologized for that having been done. Everything else came out perfectly. Overall, my experience here from drop off to pick up was very good. Very satisfied with this dealerships service department. I have to say my service person - Charles was really really great and his is the reason I would go back to Mazda of Escondido. I also appreciated the video overview of everything that was going on with the vehicle. I did opt to have my mechanic make the repairs but ordered parts from the dealer. They ordered the wrong part so there was a delay by several days for my mechanic to track down the right part.

Don t let them steal your money. Shawn was my advisor, Hector was the mechanic and both men recommended that I put $2500 into a 2011 Mazda. The very next day a bolt snapped under the transmission causing the transmission to slam into the condenser and they said it would be another 4K to fix the issue after I paid for mounts they said they didn t touch that bolt that snapped but they had to in order to replace the mounts. So they lie about the mechanics ability and efficiency. Crooks to the fullest degree to charges a homeless women $2500 and the car breaks the next day even worse, and they want more money. I had to call a junk car place and sell the car for $500 while on the Mazda service parking lot. At the time I was living in my car so they literally took my everything and had no remorse or care at all. Don t trust any Shawn Bradley the advisor he will be completely fine having you pay for repairs and leaving you in the dust if the mechanics break your car. I am suing them so be aware who you take your car too especially in Escondido.

I really liked the texting function for keeping me informed of the status of the repairs. My service advisor (Shawn) was great and made sure I was updated throughout the repair and was quick to answer my questions. It was a great experience overall.

I received excellent service. Additionally, it was very much appreciated that my service advisor did not attempt to "up sell' me on unnecessary services, which has happened many times before at other dealerships with other vehicles. My car was taken in on time, was finished before the time stated and I was given a full video report of their inspection of my beloved Miata MX-5 while I waited in their peaceful, comfortable customer waiting area. 100 % satisfied, a rarity these days.Service: Oil change

The place was comfortable to hang out, the service was relatively quick (about 2 and a half hours) considering the work done: oil change, tire rotation, plus brake fluid exchange and intake throttle body decarbon service because I ve got over 120,000 miles on my Mazda 5. I have no complaints. I suppose I can find a cheaper auto mechanic, but my Mazda is 13 years old and I want to keep it as long as I can. I trust Mazda of Escondido to take care of my car.

I had "Engine inspection required" on and brought my mazda with 141k mileage on it to the Escondido Mazda dealership. 1) quality of staff. It took 2 days to inspect my car, but I wasn't notified that it would take so long. My agent was responsive via text, but with the delay. I tried calling him on the same number, but it looks like the phone call was re-addressed to someone else, who never picked up. The general dealership service phone number was neither responsive, but at least they called me back. 2) overselling/quality of mechanics. I was notified that they found that ignition coils/spark plugs and pcm all failed and that replacement/recalibration would cost 1549.95$. Plus they found that valve cover is leaking heavily from worn seals and gaskets and that replacement/recalibration would cost 615$. What is strange here is that I had my spark plugs replaced three hundred miles back literally 1 month ago, and it was done by highly professional automotive service in San Marcos. I then brough back my car to that service and had representative to inspect my car and give his opinion. He told me that "ignition coils/spark plugs and pcm all failed" should not be the reason to see that "Engine inspection required" sign, and the reason is most likely related to fuel injector that needs to be tested by the dealership! Furthermore, although there were few evidences of oil and worn materials, the valve was not heavily licking! Coincidence or not, the sign disappeared when I was showing my car to the representative. The problem seems to be solved, at least temporarily and I don't need to spend 2k$ for nothing. The San Marcos automotive service charged me nothing whereas I left 199.99$ in Mazda Escondido ... 3) Sales person quality. I also considered trade-in my car, but I have a feeling that a sales person who was showing me the cars wanted to get rid of me. When I come back to pick up my car in the evening next day there was another sales person, and that one was professional, a pleasure to work. However, I decided to go head to a different dealership to service and ultimately trade-in my car

I was very pleased with my service advisor Shawn and the attention he was able to provide texting me back and forth. I am sure this is not an easy job and he was very friendly and professional. I really appreciated the Uber service and loaner program which as a single person with no family here really helped me out.My service tech provided me a great video while working on my car which was appreciated and only did the work I requested at this time which was appreciated.My only negative is the great expense at which some of some parts and labor can be. I know that the sensors are not that difficult to replace and I wish they would have offered to just purchase the part and install it myself. I was appreciative however of being able to have a AAA discount applied and the diagnostic being waved for doing the work it found. My address never did get updated on the final invoice, but just a minor detail. I would definitely use Mazda to work on my car in the future.Had another visit and again very pleased with the service and ability to have a loaner vehicle so I could get to my clients. Charles makes getting your car serviced so simple. I went in to get the 3m protector on my daughter s new cx-5. We talked about wanting the all weather mats for the new CX-5 and my current CX-90 as well as the Towing package for the CX-90 he worked with Joni who is also so amazing to get all the pricing together and was able to send me a link to pay with out having to come back in.

I was warned ahead of time that a new battery installed would cost $250. I was also told upfront what the regular maintenance would cost.Waiting area was comfortable with lots of seating.

Shawn Bradley is awesome. I have been going to Mazda of Escondido for years and Shawn has been my Service Manager from the beginning. He is always friendly, helpful and goes over and above when it comes to answering any questions or addressing any concerns I have. It s really nice having him on my team!
