Great customer service and really fair pricing. Brought in our Audi Q5. Was in town visiting family and they made sure to get us back on the road in a timely manner and made drop off/pickup after hours easy. In the past they ve also topped off oil and steering fluid at no charge, which Audi owners know is amazing since the cars do burn oil. Stand up customer service.Wish I lived closer to make them our regular auto shop!

Chris and the crew repaired our 2014 VW perfectly and were able to do the service in 2 days verses the 3 weeks others were saying Review part 2 - so I also have a 2015 Golf tdi wagon that also needed a timing belt repair. This is was another great service example - in and out in 1 day!Oh even more crazy, the quote I got to do the repair was totally inline, but when I picked up the car and got the final bill, was I shocked!!!It was actually a little less than the quote- I ve never heard of that from a repair shop

I took my Audi A8L into HQ ASGA for an all wheel alignment after getting new wheels from another place who didn't tell me they don't have the proper alignment machine. HQ did have the correct equipment and did a great job making sure all wheels/tires were correctly mounted before dialing in the alignment. The steering wheel is now dead on accurate, the car drives like it did fresh from the factory (yes, I took German delivery), and HQ even performed a complimentary complete vehicle check. I think I found the best source to take my German cars going forward. I just feel bad about not going there sooner.Services: Tire rotations, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment

Family have been searching for service for our 4 MBZ's. Took my C300 in for an oil change. Excellent service, fair price. Chris & Paul are awesome. They will send you an email with photos of what they find and what service will need to done next, and it's more like a guide as to what to do next. They'll explain what is needed and what can be done a bit later. No pressure to get it all done at once, no upsell. Will bring all our vehicles to them for maintenance and service/repairs. Finally an honest german auto service provider!!! Very happy with them.

Great first time experience. Quick quoting, both via over the phone and text. Able to pay online and very accommodating with pick up and drop off. Will go back with any more problems with our A5. Appreciate the good service you provided.

I was having an issue with my X5 with a lugging type feel. I finally took it to HQ Autosport and they found the issue in one morning, it was the transfer case! Great team at HQ Autosport German Auto! I recently took my car in with a potential coolant leak issue, they did a vacuum test, and other checks to troubleshoot the issue. Their approach was methodical, thorough, and communication was great. They also did a tire change and alignment.Overall I was extremely satisfied with the work done, their attention to detail and professionalism is commendable. The work was done promptly and the quality of service was great. Paul and Kenji were accommodating and fun to talk to, we traded some racing stories, and showed us some of their past wins and future projects.I would highly recommend this shop to anyone in the area looking for a shop with trustworthy and knowledgeable staff.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment, Auto maintenance

Overall it was a good experience, however my expectations for the overall inspection were not met. I would have liked to have known what the tire tread depth measurements were so I could plan on future tire purchases. As well I would have liked to have seen the measurement for the thickness of each brake pad so that I could determine what condition the brakes were in. My past service dealer always included those items and I guess my expectations were for the same.1/30/2023 - I spoke with Paul and there had been some miscommunication and he offered to have me bring the car back in for a follow up inspection. In subsequent visits Kenji and Paul have been great to work with. Their service has been very good and I plan on continuing to use HQ to service my Macan.5/22/2023 - I have been taking my 2016 Macan into HQ for oil changes, spark plug replacement, brakes and they have always done an excellent job. Good guys and I'm going to continue to have them do the work needed. Thank you12/29/2023 - I recently had to replace the transmission in my 2016 Porsche Macan S, (I really wonder about the real quality of Porsche). HQ performed the installation with professionalism, knowledge and customer care. The dealer would not deliver the new transmission for 3 or 4 days, so Paul took their truck down to San Diego and picked it up himself. The installation of the computer programming was another issue and the technician stayed after one night until 8:30 to get the programming done. Both of these went beyond normal. The car runs very well and I will continue to go to HQ for all my maintanance and repair needs for my car. A great experience, all together! I take both my car and my wife s car to them, and I don t see a reason of changing that anytime soon. Just for explain myself, it feels like family when you get there. It s like having your uncle at the front desk, giving you honest estimates and explaining all charges for the parts and labor, and your cousins, highly trained Mechanics in German engineering, repairing your car. They put an exhaust on my car, not only did they get the part shipped in less than 24 hrs, but had an opening to come in the next day and have it installed. I had an excellent experience with HQ Autosport. My trusted mechanic of 10 years had retired and I needed some extensive work done. I've tried other Escondido German maintenance shops and was fairly disappointed. It may sound crazy, but I don't trust my Porsche 996 with just anyone. I dropped by HQ to meet the partner, Paul, to "Check the cut of his jib". He was personable and knowledgeable. I would recommend them . Most recently I had a fault in my Central Locking system. It was diagnosed quickly and repaired. Unfortunately HQ AUTO isn't a dealer and to complete the repair I needed to go to SD Porsche and needed them replace a Security Module and recode Security. HQ AUTOSPORT has a relationship there , so the coordination was seamless. Yes, it was a little inconvenient, but I had the result I needed. They go above and beyond what you would expect from an auto repair shop. Staff is very helpful and even found out that my 13 year old car would be covered by a BMW dealer because the problem was with emissions and still under warranty. They have earned my long-term business.

I was searching for a german,and British speciality automotive service shop to service my 2 RangeRovers and my 3 and 7 series BMW..I spoke to the owner Paul, he answered everything I asked ..he sold me right over the phone, I informed him I reside in Lajolla, had a bad experience with the RangeRover independent shop,I used for years..so the bottom line is HQ Autosport,is 100 % superb,Paul's team is Best of the Best.!!!!..Thanks HQ..AutoSport

Decided to try HQAutosport because of the oil change coupon that came in the mail. They were ready for me at the appointment time and commented that when starting the car it sounded like the battery was weak.I asked them to check the battery with a load test and observed that it was indeed low. Checked my records and the battery was over 4 years old so we replaced it.The oil change was done also and I was in and out in under a hour.Everyone was friendly, the waiting room was clean. I have found my regular mechanic! Great people absolutely awesome prices! The dealership was trying to charge me way more than what I paid at HQ. BMWs are very expensive to repair so finding a place that is reasonable and that will give me the price upfront without any hidden fees is great! I will use HQ as long as I have my BMW. Paul, Kenji, and the mechanic were all really cool and easy to talk to. My car runs really well and no more oil leaks. I have zero complaints!! I had an awesome experience at HQ Autosport. Everyone was incredibly personable and friendly. The turn around time was amazing. They also went above and beyond and adjusted my steering for no additional cost. I brought my car in to them for an alignment, some front end suspension work and an oil change. I highly recommend this shop, and I will definitely be bringing all my cars here in the future. I received a mailer for a discount on an oil change. They looked legit so I stopped by to look at their facility. Paul, one of the owners showed me around, and discussed my needs. I was impressed. They've serviced my X5 twice and I couldn't be happier. Personal service at a fraction of the dealership pricing. I even brought my Mercedes van to them for service. This shop was great! Paul was thorough about getting me a proper quote for my needed vehicle repairs. His pricing was more than fair when compared to other shops, especially the dealers. Plus, they work with Easypay, so you can make payments on unexpected pricey jobs. On top of that, I got a first time customer discount.
