I can't praise Bumper Doc Escondido enough for their outstanding work on multiple vehicles of mine. Reinforced fiberglass...does that ring a bell? This is the type of material you should avoid at all costs when purchasing a body kit. I have been ghosted multiple times by these so called "professional" body shops in San Diego as these types of materials are the most arduous components to install in any vehicle.The AMAZING team in BumperDoc Escondido had warned me about the atrocity of such modification, but did they accomplish the task? With ABSOLUTELY flying colors!!I'm an engineer and I understand the heavy grind that these gentlemen had to endure just to fit the bumper to OEM Specs. The trim lines are flushed, the surface is primed and smooth (for the 3M Wrap I'll be adding on top of it), and they even fixed the wirings that were belligerently mashed together by previous mechanics that were probably high on bath salt on the job. I can't thank the team enough for their efforts, and they were able accomplish the job in such a timely manner as well. And for the amount of labor they put into the job, the price is just incredible. They have displayed such high value on their labor, and I could not be happier with the results. I rate them 6/5 and will continue to do business with them in the future. Just Absolutely Amazing!Service: Body & Trim

I've had a variety of work done here on 4 different vehicles (including a motorcycle) and wouldn't go anywhere else for body repair and/or painting in the San Diego area. They simply don't cut corners and the quality of work is at the highest level. Ron and Cliff are both very knowledgeable and fully transparent about the work being done along with when it will be completed. Highly recommend!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Al�cia at Chrome Plating USA is super happy with my headlight restoration, replace front logo emblem and fix sunroof closure. I was recommended by one of our customers Bella Porche. Bumper Doc Escondido is Professional and knowledgeable. I use a lower cost headlight mobile guy but bumper doc took it to a another level. Clarity and remove all yellowing. So worth the extra cost. Will recommend to other.

After an unfortunate event including my Corvette and a piece of turf on the highway, USAA informed me I needed to take my car to a trusted body shops. After being incredibly uncomfortable at one of their body shops, Fellow local corvette owners pushed me to BumperDoc of Escondido and I am so thankful I listened. Ron and his staff are extraordinary. They will go out of their way not only to make sure you the consumer are taken care of but also the vehicle you give them. Parts for my corvette were hard to come by and not only did Ron find them but made sure they were up to OEM quality. This process took longer than expected but Ron went above and beyond by redoing all the Paint Protection Film around the body (Since I work at a Paint protection shop, I inspected their work and it s beyond standards). I highly recommend stopping by and checking them out if you are in need of any body work or protection. Thank you again Ron and staff for treating me like family.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

BumperDoc did some paint work on my rare '80s Porsche. Ron and his crew completed the job to my utter delight. I have since brought several other specialty vehicles to them. As former military, Ron has proven very disciplined, thorough and transparent in all of our dealings.I can't recommend BumperDoc highly enough. I had bought a used Honda off someone on offer up everything looked good but after a week the front bumper came off. The previous owner had been in a front end collision and didn't tell me about it just put the bumper on and used zip ties to keep it in place as well as screws and he did the wiring himself it looked horrible Ron had pictures to show me how bad of a job they did, luckily cliff rewired everything and had it working like it should've been. The front bumper looks great the lights are working, I couldn't be happier with the job they did I highly recommend them if you need work done on your car they'll fix what's wrong and show you how they fixed the problem.Services: Electrical, Body & Trim

Took my Corolla here after a rebar sticking out of a wheel stop tore my front bumper off and broke many pieces. They were able to give me an estimate for repair and get parts in to repair it next day. The price was very reasonable. They did an excellent job. It s impossible to even tell it happened in the first place. I highly recommend the BumperDoc in Escondido. Hopefully I never need to get my bumper repaired again, but if I do I m going straight to BumperDoc!! They are very honest and clear what the price of anything will be. They truly take care of their customers and you can tell they are proud of their work! Thank you BumperDoc!

Rude people do not go there overpriced. The guy in the front office was really rude to me. If you don't like dealing with the public quite and get another one job that doesn't deal with the public. I was not paid to write this review. I didn't give my name or phone number. Because he was rude and overpriced.

BumperDoc came through for in more ways than one. Massive door ding, deep scratches on rear trunk previous paint job was poorly done by a different paint body shop looking at it now it has a rich deep luster almost wet look to it. Also I added a aftermarket bumper that prep and fitted as if it came from the factory. Ron who runs the shop & Cliff who is the lead at the shop is very accessible and great customer service oriented and is extremely polite always found time to take my call and time to see me in person when I had concerns. There team did a wonderful job and my vehicle has been brought back to life - other words looks show room ready (Color is Black).

Just before Christmas I damaged the front of my beautiful 2015 Porsche 911 GT3. I had pulled into a parking space and didn t see the concrete parking block. The concrete block damaged the front underbody and the front bumper.To say I was devastated is an understatement. I was very nervous about taking my prized Porsche 911 GT3 to any body shop or even the Porsche dealership.After calling numerous body shops, I spoke to Ron at Bumperdoc. I was impressed by our conversation so I drove my GT3 to the shop to get his thoughts and guidance.It was important to me I felt confident with the bodyshop I chose to do the work.After meeting Ron, I was very assured by his professionalism and his intimate knowledge about the GT3 in particular. He explained to me in easy to understand detail what work would be needed to make my GT3 look brand-new again.I also had previously slightly scraped the right rear rim so I asked him to examine the rim while I was there. He indicated, they could also fix the rim and I would never know it had happened.Today Ron called informing me my Porsche GT3 was finished and ready to be picked up.True to his word, Ron and his team at Bumperdoc performed outstanding work on my GT3. The car looks factory brand-new. They repaired my scraped wheel so well, it looks perfect again.I am very picky about my Porsche 911 GT3, but I couldn t be happier. Quotes I received at other bodyshops were significantly higher than Bumperdoc.However, I didn t feel the other shops had the expertise and experience to repair my Porsche GT3 back to factory condition. My gut feeling about Ron and Bumperdoc was correct. I have no hesitation whatsoever recommending Bumperdoc.I hope I don t have to take my Porsche back for repair, but if I do, these guys are the only place I ll trust. Their work is second to none. Did a simple rear bumper repair to a very dark blue (Midnight Blue) Audi A4. The body and paint work was very solid. No issues.They have great quality control, which while delaying my repair a couple days extra, I'd much rather have that happen than having them use damaged goods, which was the reason for the delay (delivered replacement bumper from Audi was mishandled, and arrived to them damaged first time around).Would use again.Service: Body & Trim

I m not one to post reviews, but in this case I m definitely compelled to do so While at a golf course someone s errant ball created a good-sized dent in the door. Looking around the web, I decided to obtain a quote from Bumper Doc.The price was fair so they were hired. I expected good work based the professionalism I received when obtaining a quote, but when picking the car up I was really amazed at the quality of the work; you would never know there was damage to the door despite a close inspection.I decided to get a door ding taken out of my other car. Same result!If you like dealing with professionals and like good work then this is the place to go!

I cannot say enough great things about my experience with Bumperdoc. Ron was on top of it from start to finish. Super easy to work with and had great follow through. The level of customer service I received was much appreciated and is rare to find these days. I was pretty bummed my brand new truck got hit but you would never know now. I've been here a few times to either have cosmetic improvements or fix literal bumper dents/accidents for a few of my cars - this place is by far the best relative value you can find for this type of work - whether it's a high-end vehicle (they're certified by Porsche), or basic lower end, quick repairs you won't regret going here. They get it done better, faster, and less expensive than any body shop I've had estimates or work done in the past. Ron will make sure you know exactly what to expect, and will offer options to get you exactly what you need.Service: Body & Trim

Great staff and Quality work! Needed a new bumper, 5 gal bucket punched a hole in my bumper......Amazing work! Can't tell any difference between old and new. They got the job done in one day! The have a state-of-the-art paint/drying booth and you can tell the paint/drying really is high end!They also offer window services and change out of windshield along with everything else. So even though it says Bumperdoc.....it's an everything body and paint business. I'd come back in a heartbeat to have work done here...Staff were really professional and easy to work with. Searched around for shop to clean up my rock chips. Took my car in to get an estimate. Spoke to Ron and Cliff getting my hood and bumper repainted to look new again. Ron walked outside to see all I wanted fixed. I was looking around the shop at work that was waiting to be done and work completed. I was really worried about paint matching. Ron assured it will be done looking like factory.I received my car back 2 days ahead of schedule time to pick up. Upon seeing my car the work is definitely top notch. It looks like it came right out factory. I cannot say how happy I am with the matching of paint from new to old sections. No more rock chips and can t tell it had been redone.This was not an issuance job but out my pocket clean up my car job. I will say this was money well spent.Service: Painting

I had always thought of Bumper Doc as a ding and dent chain, but they are all independently owned, and this one is something SPECIAL!I had picked up a classic Porsche that needed some minor paint and body work. I just wanted it done right, as this is a classic car I am going to keep for many years. I was a little surprised to hear one of the local Porsche shops recommend this specific Bumper Doc for this type of work.After a little bit of asking around in the local car community, I came across a few other people with nice cars that spoke highly of the work done at specifically the Bumper Doc of Escondido.So, I took it in. The owner Ron is not only a 'car guy' himself, but he was also a Navy SEAL. I was in the military as well, so it was nice to support a fellow veteran.Not only that, but you could see that Ron's leadership and "attention to detail" was displayed with the shop, the work, the courteous employees, and everything I saw.Ron actually used the EXACT same primers and paints they use at the Porsche factory in Germany. Not just matching a color with a different quality or base of paint. (yes, that is attention to detail I like)In the end, I am super happy with the work done there. I've moved recently, and STILL make the trip out to see Ron and his team for regular details of my Porsche.I've even went back to have them tint the windows on my Porsche. In the several times I've been there, I have always seen them working on classic, sports, and luxury cars.You are in good hands with Ron and his Team.

I'm not a big Review guy, but when a business goes above and beyond to help, I want to take a few minutes to give them a review. I picked up my 1994 Range Rover Classic today, from Bumper Doc. I have owned and cherished this vehicle for 20 years. A few years back, I had My Mercedes E 350 there and had an excellent experience, so after My Rover was hit, it was an easy decision to go back to Bumper Doc. First, The process is simple and communication is excellent. There is an enterprise rent a car, right across the street, so drop off, and getting another car, is perfect with Bumper Doc. Second, you have Ron, the owner, who deals with you directly, and he is a super, no nonsense, knowledgeable guy. He deals directly with you're insurance agent, and goes above and beyond to make sure the repair is perfection,,,,every detail done right,,,,the first time. No Bs, no multiple trips there, or bad news phone calls. A lot of the parts for my Rover were not available, so Ron did a lot of extra work, to find the discontinued parts, and even replaced my front fog lights for me, without me asking him to do it,,,great surprise when I picked up my car today. The bumper work, and muffler also came out great. With all the Car dealerships out there and shady body shops, It's great to deal with an owner/ operator, great to deal with a meticulous person, that knows his business, and someone that does what he says he will do,,,,on time, and job done perfect. In speaking with him, and seeing a lot of Porsche's there, any Porsche or other high end specialty vehicle guys out there, don't hesitate to go to Bumper Doc. They are full service collision, not just bumpers, so give them a call, and ask for Ron.

I had my 2012 Audi A4 repaired here after getting hit from the side. My wheel, passengerdoor and front bumper came out fantastic.Ron, Cliff and the rest of the team are great honest guys. They ensured a quick turn around, despite slow service from the insurance company. They pushed for faster and more thorough repair work than the initial inspection from the insurance. The work was thorough, yet quick and professional. I got updates every few days/ end of week about the progress so I knew what was going on throughout the painful process of having car accident damage repaired. The car looks better than before!

Bumper doc took care of both of my vehicles.I had my Honda Civic Rally Red hatchback bumper damaged a couple months ago. Brought it in to bumper doc and they took care of my bumper repair. Very professional business.I was so satisfied with the work I decided to take my wife s vehicle in to also get repaired. They definitely made the 4Runner bumper look like nothing ever happened.This is the spot to go to if you need a repair. I was recommended here and now I will recommend others.

I used to work at the Hyundai Escondido next door and we sent all our damaged trade-ins to BumperDoc. Fast forward to now, with my own car in need of some serious body work, I recalled how professional the guys here always seemed AND the fact that it's the only veteran-owned body shop in the SD area. I'm so glad I chose them to do the work; they were friendly, professional, and had my car back to me in like-new condition faster than I expected. Cliff updated me every step of the way, even simplifying the insurance process for me, which was extremely helpful because it was my first time using insurance for anything big. Seriously, if you need body work of just about any kind done on your car and you're looking for a deal or even just looking to support local veteran-owned business, I can't recommend these guys enough.

Someone recently backed into the side of my brand new Toyota Highlander! After searching for a shop I went to Bumper Doc for an estimate. I initially was going to make a claim through my insurance, but ultimately decided to pay for repairs myself to avoid my rates going up. They got me a discounted rental car rate through Enterprise across the street. Totally happy with the repair! It looks brand new again, Yay!!! While it was there, I also had them tint the two front windows to match the factory shade. Very happy customer! Highly recommend!Service: Painting

I have a 2018 black mustang. I Was hit by a driver and smashed my passenger fender. I have state farm and they are a pain to deal with. These guys did a great job and everything looks factory or better. Fender paint came out perfect and I'll be returning to them for all my future business. The owner is prior military and I feel it's important to put it out there that the owner is great. Cliff who is the lead at the shop is very customer service oriented and is extremely polite . Once again. I'll be back to have more work done by there shop.
