I went to Bob's Garage for a brake light repair/instal. Johnson was very professional and informative on the job. The price he quoted was fair. He even quoted me a price that was higher than what he charged me. He did an excellent job, got me a good priced part, and fixed my bike. He took the time to answer all my questions and made this experience well worth the trip to his shop. I would recommend this mechanic shop to anyone with a bike.

Great work! bike was backfiring and not shifting right. Went in talked about the issue was given suggestions on what the bike needed. Dropped the bike off on friday and it was done on saturday. The bike rides so smooth now. I will definitely recomend to other bike owners and i will for sure be back for future needs.Service: Carburetor cleaningService: Carburetor cleaning

CONSUMER BEWARE. I have been shocked and appalled by the service at Bob's Garage. They got my bike the first time, had it for a month, gave it back after paying almost $1000 and it still didn't work on the very first ride. I took it right back in, they "worked on it" for another 2 months, I paid again for the same issue, drove it the first time, and it broke again. Johnson, who has a very friendly disposition, called me and told me that they wouldn't be charging me this time, so I took it back to them. They "worked" on the bike for three months, and when I went back to pick it up, the put another large bill in front of me. I couldn't believe the extortion. Save yourself the same heartache and take your bike to another shop, or expect LONG delays, friendly service (which is ironic), and to be swindled for lots of money. Make sure you have your lawyer on speed dial.

I brought my 85 Sporty to these guys to do some repairs on and the original estimate was around 600, then it jumped to 1000 which would be understandable because when they opened the case to do the repairs it needed more parts. Then it went to 1500, which i am not exactly was warrented but then when i went to pick it up it was almost 1800, so not wanting to say they were gouging me and doing my best to stay positive i paid it. After about a week the clutch stopped working so i brought it back to them and they said it needed more parts and i even drove to long beach and paid for the part myself brought it to them. And even after the original cost was supposed to include the clutch they charged me another 150 to install the part. You would think it was done at this point..... But i rode it exactly 2 times just around my neighborhood less than 15 miles and the clutch is out again... when i called them they said it must be my fault. So i guess the next step is small claims court. All i can say to any and all harley brothers and sisters out there is if you work as hard as i do for your money these guys do very bad work and charge over the top for it and even to do the repair over that is their fault in the first place so spread the word STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS.

I'm going to be straight forward. Johnson the garage mechanic told me that I don't need synthetic for my bike, my first thought was something like "conventional old timer," but he explained the mechanics- how synthetic is perfectly good for cars, but it doesn't make a difference since harley's technology and bearing "are still bone on bone stone age."I'm still apprehensive as to how much research has been put into that, but he tells me that he's taken apart many bikes side by side, synthetic and regular, and that there isn't a bit of difference. I probably wouldn't have believed him just based on his word, BUT they've got a twin engine land speed Harley with over a total of 300in. I looked that up. It was roughly around 4,300cc's. The thing does 250mph. So I took his advice.
