The staffed technician there was quite helpful. He moved through the line efficiently in the weights were not too long. The pricing was fair in the location was perfect. I had a Lincoln hybrid car and he was able to do a positive smog check on my car. The total price was $60 after tax etc. It's right behind the Chevron where the Amazon locker is. That's just off of Ventura and zelza. I'm so glad I found a good local smog check so I won't have to search at all next year! According to my experience, I highly recommend this location.

The person who was working was incompetent! He stated that the cover of the air filter was missing. He kept me there while making phone calls to his friends to ask all sorts of questions. Dependable dodge staff confirmed that this model does not have a cover. Smog check was completed in 10 minutes the following day a mile down at the smog inspector (more knowledgeable and efficient service).Service: Smog certification

the guy doing the smog checks was pretty nice. didnt have to wait too long, each car is like 15-30 min. only downside it s all outside seating which on a rainy day sucked.

This gentleman William took me on the spot for Smog Check , he was very thorough and quick . So sweet and very knowledgable. I moved here from Oregon and needed to have my two cars tested to register them in California so I went here because it was close to my house. I call before getting there and i provide the information of the vehicle. Upon arrival i was told that it will take 15 min for the smoge machine to get ready 5 min later the machine does not work and i told the tech will you try in 10 min later to see if it works. He then stated that it may take up to 3 hours for it to work and that i should try a different place

By luck, my visit was timed well and I had no waiting time at all. The shop was extremely courteous and efficient. Google maps directs you to the back of the gas station so the directions are perfect. You may wish to call ahead and perhaps reserve a time of they take appointments.

They ran a check and charged my wife despite the engine light being on. I wasn't aware it was on because I don't drive her car but apparently that's an auto failure. Rather than advising her that it was on and giving her some options, they ran it and it failed and then they charged her $50 and said they'd give her a discount if she came back when it was fixed. When she told me the story, I thought she was joking and called the shop to try and understand why they'd just run the test. I initially thought it was greed but after talking with the employee, it became clear he was just following a checklist and never looks at the lights. Make of that what you will, but I don't feel like it's too much to ask for a Smog shop to be able to identify and advise the customer on the one thing that will fail a test, prior to running it and charging them.

Fair price, quick service. Took me as a drive up only one car ahead of me. Process took normal as I do have some modifications on my car (CARB legal intake).

The attendant was corteous and had patience with me and my dogs. At the end he went the extra 2 miles and refilled wiper liquid and made sure tires were fiiled up with air. William you did an excelllent job.

I went to this smog check because AAA recommended it. The man from the beginning was lacking communication. After I paid he informs me of everything wrong and how they do not re-check smog. After the test is when he asked me questions that would deter me from getting it checked there. Had he lead with communication, I probably would ve opted out and went elsewhere. Extremely poor communication. AAA should not be recommending people here.

Great service! You have to go around to the back of the gas station and there you will meet the gentleman to assist. It cost me roughly $60 and it took about 20 min.

Go somewhere else to have your car smog tested. Mechanic took 45 minutes. He punched in wrong info about my car and the car failed and he couldn't accurately explain what was wrong. Took the car to an experienced smog test station and it passed. Encino Smog Check is terrible, avoid it.

I was doing my smog check in LA I accidentally find his place I am also repair shop facility in San Jose and we have a smog check also in our area but I have to do my smog check and this guy was very friendly very quick and professional he finished my smog check in 20 minutes he checked everything and he knows what he's doing thank you for being so honest and polite

Great and friendly service I took my car for smog check car failed due to a check engine light on I took my car to a good mechanic shop problem fix took car back for smog check got discount on smog check and my car passed smog thanks to technician William great service .

Very bad service.the technician who run the test doesn't know anything.my car engine passed the test but because he puts wrong information in the system so it failed. Don't take your car in there
