Wonderful service. Never had to exit my vehicle. Upbeat attentive technicians worked together as a we-oiled machine. One friendly tech talked us through the process while 2 other techs carried out the work. Reasonable price for a job well done.

quick, polite, and extremely skilled crew. They didn t have my air filter in stock but the manager drove to nearby valvoline and had it in time before the oil change was over. Isaiah and the manager were clutch. Can t recommend enough. Good work, thanks guys

So I called this location to get a price check for an oil change for my car. They have it set up where the operator gives you a price for $54 synthetic and offers to send you a $10 coupon so I m excited and come wait 30 minutes in line to find out it s all fake. The prices they give are lies. They wanted over $100 for full synthetic. I hate being lied to cuz I already had a place for $80 full synthetic. Wont be bringing it back here.

Extremely pricey almost highway robbery considering oil is $30 with a filter okay $40 but to charge $100 for full synthetic. It s not rocket science it s not laborious time consuming it s quick in and out but $60 labor charge is nuts !!! Customer service is great and it was fast so that s why I am giving 3 stars

They did not properly install the oil filter. The truck was leaking oil out of the badly installed oil filter as I pulled out of the oil change bay. They did have me back up, back into the bay. And they installed another oil filter and topped off the oil.

Overfilled the oil on my Suburu Forester. Smoke everywhere a week later. Had it towed to the dealership. Could have blown my engine... Complete IDIOTS! Never ever again!!

Arrived at the shop and there were 2 cars, one car in each stall. We waited for about 30 minutes and still no service, just a whole bunch of guys chit chatting. By this time, 3 other cars pulled up and waited also. One guy had enough and left. Finally we got the attention of one of the guys, while asking him how much longer because we've been waiting for a long time, he gave us an attitude and said "Well we can't get to all the cars." So at that point, we just left. Never going there again. He was super rude. Went up the street to another location and got serviced right away.

Employees are nice and I am sure the oil change is as good as anywhere else. Customer experience is terrible though. I arrived with three cars ahead of me in each line and ended up leaving over 90 minutes later. Have more bays or allow drop offs because with the current wait times changing oil becomes as brutal as the going to the dentist or the dmv.Service: Oil change

They will damage your car! First time they forgot to secure a skid plate, had to return for repair. Second time, they forgot to replace the oil filter support, resulting in a check engine light and had to return again for repair. Third issue they recommended and performed a transmission service resulting in a hard shift. I took it to Toyota to find that they used the wrong fluid... a $600 fix out of my pocket. This time, they stupidly removed the transmission drain plug instead of the oil drain plug and failed to properly reinstall it which resulted in me breaking down on the road. They assured it would be corrected, but refused toyotas recommended replacement, refused toyotas recommendation to pull the pan and inspect for damage and instead, had toyota flush and fill and then tried to tell me the vehicle was fine. Toyota told me it was drivable, but should be inspected for damage at a cost to me of $700+. Once completed, the pan was found to be full of metal pieces and valvoline is still refusing to fix the damage which is going to cost over $8,000 to repair. I highly recommend NEVER taking a vehicle to valvoline. The only thing they have going for them is location and wait time, and it's simply not worth it. BEWARE!Update: The auto reply from their customer service below isn't helpful. I had called them prior to this review and all they do is set up a recorded phone call with the rude shop manager (Jorge) who just wants to talk over you the whole time while making incorrect assumptions, but when asked any direct questions replies with "no comment".

Ronald and the team were SO great!! What an incredible oil changing experience - I m not kidding! Everyone was so attentive and helpful explaining to me exactly what they were doing and why. Ronald truly is SO kind and smiley. I can t recommend this place enough! It only took 15 minutes and we got to stay in the car!

Just came from getting my oil change & air filter replaced and am blown away by how efficient & professional this place is! I would traditionally do these services at my dealership but decided to give them a shot & will now be a customer for life! From the get go, Justin was incredibly friendly & helped explain what I needed right away & what to plan for in the near future. Jonathan up top & Alberto down below got me in & out quicker than I ever expected. And Bert really keeps that place running like a Nascar pit stop. They really have such a wonderful crew & operation at this location!

Second attempt at a visit - first time around there was a decent line of cars. They only have 2 bays and at 15 minutes per car things back up quick. This time I got there 5 minutes before they opened and was second car there so got straight in. A line formed quickly behind. It actually took 25 minutes to do my oil change not exactly sure why although I do know they had to take off a couple of plastic panels under my car. I had a coupon for $10 off but realized I d left a more valuable coupon at home. They gave be me a bigger discount when I let them know that, which was generous. They do, of course try to upsell on numerous other things but I declined. Finally when they give you the sticker with the mileage for your next oil change they only added 3k miles to my odometer reading which is pretty disingenuous for any modern car that likely only required only changes every 7.5k miles or more. So my recommendation is to toss that sticker and instead reset your own service indicator and follow the guidance from your vehicles manufacturer. One star deduction for that move.

Some of the most friendly, hardworking, and high-quality service employees I have ever experienced, at an oil service place or otherwise. Bert was so kind and knowledgeable, helping me get the correct service for my vehicle at the right time. If you need your oil changed or any other quick service, this is the place to come!! Highly recommended.

The service was quick well-organized.The mechanic was polite.I was in and out in no time, It was very easy.The one thing I thought was a little odd was there are no listed prices anywhere in the building or online.I asked why and he said that was corporate policy.You tell them what you want to have done and the computer brings up a price.Since nothing is listed in the building or online, the price could change moment-to-moment.In California I thought that all services must be posted.I will definitely be back and it's easier to take care of my car.

I really appreciate that they didn t try to upsell me or anything. I came here for the first time after getting a coupon in the mail. I decided to try it out and it was a pleasant experience. The young man helping was kind and professional. Service team were Eric and Angel and they did a fantastic job doing my oil change.Thank you!

Crew dropped a socket into the engine bay and couldn t retrieve (only had a magnet retriever which didn t work). So now I will need to buy the right tool (which they didn t have) and spend time first locating and then removing the socket or take to a mechanic. Valvoline s local management s response (Bert) is $10 off the oil change and a $10 coupon for the next one or come all the way back and we ll try again. Bert has little appreciation for the value of their customer s time. Any reasonable service based org. would have offered more the 10 bucks and a coupon. Bert was VERY defensive and unhelpful. Never goin back again!

Horrible customer service. The workers were more interested in chatting than doing the proper maintenance checks they are supposed to do. I had to ask 3 times for them to check.

Went to this location today to change the oil in my mother's car. They were extremely honest with me, letting me know that her car could go another 2k miles before getting an oil change. Loved their kind dispositions, attention to detail, and honesty with me as a possible customer. 10/10 service!

I visited this location a few weeks ago because my maintenance notice was on in my car. I thought I needed an oil change but they noticed I was a few thousand miles too early and even checked my cabin air filter at no cost. I wasn't able to give them business but I will certainly be back. I truly appreciated their honesty and professionalism!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Wow! Lots of great things to say here....First of all the service team was so friendly. I wasn't even the only customer there and I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. I was almost like shocked how quick and easy it was. I highly recommend this place to anyone in Encinitas to get their oil changed. Their prices are competitive and you don't even need to get out of you car. I would give 10 stars if I could.Service: Oil change

Only Valvoline that didn't drain my oil, instead they extracted it. I know you can't get all the old oil out doing it like that. No way, no how. I won't be returning to this location
