Jerry was awesome. He couldn't have been more helpful. It's rare to find this level of customer service these days. They've got a customer for life. Thanks Jerry!Nov 13: Had to come back again. Justus was extremely helpful, fast, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Thank you so much!

Went into O' Reilly's to switch out my car battery, since it was under warranty. I was greeted by Josh, who stated they had to test the battery first, but it would be a couple hours as there was another battery testing. Long story, short Josh went above and beyond, so we didn't have to wait and gave me the replacement battery, quick and great customer service. GREAT JOB, JOSH!!!.

The Best Customer Service Ever!!! Marc, Hunter, Laura, David, Mike... These reps are AMAZING!!! Always take care of me, always have the best prices and price match with their competitors. O'Reilly's Encinitas goes the extra mile to make sure I am safe on the road. They stayed 10 extra minutes *PAST CLOSING* to make sure my battery was properly charged and that I knew my check engine codes. Didn't even spend a penny and they provided me so much helpful information, I am beyond grateful. Would never step foot into another auto parts store. O'Reilly's corporate is also the best around, they truly care about their customers. Thank you O'reilly's!!

Esteban replaced the headlights in our 2005 Honda Accord in the middle of the afternoon under the hot sun. On top of that, our cars headlights are a pain in the butt to replace but he was professional and all smiles throughout the whole process, from the moment my guy walked in. Even explained some technical things my guy didn't know about. Didn't feel pressured or anything to buy the most expensive product or pay for other services either. We usually buy our stuff online but this will be our go to store from now.

Needed new wipers. Jacquelyn helped me find the right ones and even helped this clueless-about-cars customer how they go on my Civic. Excellent service, thanks!

O Reilly s Encinitas has a customer service issue. I share this with all positive intentions. I have a pair of scooter batteries that needed a load test. I called the location and was told they could do it. No special instructions. When I walked into the store and placed the batteries on the counter they were heavy I was ignored by the two employees behind the counter. Justus, the store manager, came over to me, but without saying a word to me, started to type into the computer. The. He asked me for my phone number. He then placed a $20 gift certificate on top of my batteries. I asked, is this for me? He answered, yes, you re turning those in, right? I answered that no, I needed them load tested. He then took the gift card back. I replied, Hey, you just gave that to me and now you are taking it away? Issue #1: Greet and acknowledge your customers.Issue #2: Don t assume what your customer needs.Issue#3: If you give something to a customer, don t take it away. You could joke it s your lucky day or something to that effect. Despite being ignored, at least I got something, then in an instant I was ignored and lost my free gift card.Issue#4: Don t EVER model bad customer service skills in front on a subordinate employee. This is the biggest tell that this store has an issue. From the regional manager to the general manager to the store managers, customer service is not prioritized in a customer facing business.Continuing. Justus looked at the battery and said I needed the cold cranking amps(CCA) in order to test. I was obviously flustered. He didn t offer any suggestions or offer to help or even put it in context. I mentioned that I called ahead of time and was not told they needed this information.Issue#5: If your customer service falls short, at least pretend to care and apologize.Issue#6: Make an effort to solve the customer s problem. O Reilly markets all sorts of diagnostic testing, obviously in an effort to attract customers for minor issues that might go to a shop instead. This effort really falls short if you don t make it friendly and welcoming. On my own I searched the internet and found the information. I asked him why they needed the info and he wouldn t engage to explain to me. Note: the store was not busy.Issue#7: Every interaction with a customer presents an opportunity to earn or destroy loyalty. Treat it like a privilege to earn someone s business. This was not an egregious interaction, but it was clearly obvious that the little details of customer service are lacking. I hope this helps improve their customer interactions.

Erick in shipping went above and beyond. I was really impressed with his customer service skills. Even as he waited on me, he also took five calls and waited on another customer. I everyone was really happy with his service. I don't usually observe men in a multitasking scenario like this one, under pressure & doing so well.

This review is specifically for the very kind young man working behind the counter by the name of Mike..I went in to see if he could replace my windshield wipers that I purchased elsewhere and even offered him a tip but he wouldn t take it and was just the most helpful and kind young man.Thank you very much Mike!Merry Christmas to you !!

Update 5 stars down to 3: An employee tried to help me by ordering in a "heavy duty" flasher relay to help fix my LED problem. He did not contact me when it arrived in the store despite asking for my phone number the day before and the part was not even compatible with my vehicle. I went back to the next day to return it and the same employee was sleeping in his car while the assistant manager was asking other employees about his whereabouts.(Original 5 Start review) Every time I visit I've been immediately helped with finding the part(s) I need. One of the employees even kindly loaned me their bolt measuring tool when I was unsure what size I needed.

Terrible customer service from Wyatt. Didn't know what I was looking for so he just said they didn't have them. I found the power inverters there

You don't get to wander around a lot of the parts yourself like at other car parts stores (which slightly annoys me because it means you may have to stand in line just to get an oil filter), but the people know their business and are polite and quick.

Fantastic experience, came here to aquire new AGM cells for my solar array. The batteries are working great and the employees provided excellent service, the one gentleman was clearly almost as interested in my project as I was myself.

Wow, the customer service here and products are straight horrible. You buy a product from these guys and return it the same day after it doesn t work, and guess what you can t! That s right, contrary to the age old the customer is right these guys will argue with you and try to prove you wrong. What a joke. STAY AWAY from here, go to Autozone or Pep Boys, at least you won t get a dose of attitude with your car cleaning products. Thanks for nothing.

Fantastic service. They originally gave me the incorrect headlight bulbs so I exchanged them. The correct ones were more expensive but they waived the cost and then installed them for me.

Overall a good experience but some of them get irritated when you ask questions. Gone is the day when all the employees knew more then you about what you are buying.

I also live on BalourI ordered a part for my truck on Tuesday. They left it as they would call me back but did not so I called on Thursday and they told me the part was never ordered. Spoke with a gentleman at the store and he said that the employee that ordered it was not working since the order was made. When I said that they just lost a good customer, he responded, "OK" like it was another day at the office. Could have said, let me clear this up and I will call you back. Even Kragen had horrible customer service...Pep Boys, you have nothing to worry about....P.S. I just purchased an Ingersol Rand air hammer from them....where is that receipt?

No, I did not visit O'Relly's, but I am giving 5 stars because it employs competent people who serve there when I did visit. Btw, it's located next to Chick-fil-A where I enjoy eating! Our Lady of Good Success, triumph, reign and ask your Spouse the Holy Spirit to rest in the hardened hearts of souls who hate, are lukewarm, disobey the truth of the One True Faith even when the RICO Bishops and priests like Father James Martin say they won't oppose Church teaching on SSA. Help Milo, too! Hail Mary full of grace!
