Just bought my first Ford Bronco at Encinitas this month! I have been shopping the Bronco for over a year, visiting multiple Ford dealerships and have had mixed experiences. The Encinitas Ford was by far the best experience I've ever had at a dealership. Everyone there is helpful, laid back and do not try to oversell you or push you on anything. If you're a San Diego local I would go out of your way to buy from this dealership, well worth it and nothing but good things to say.

They used to have great prices on oil changes and good service, thought I was going to have a good job done by qualified techs on my vehicle, I thought WRONG. Decided to do my own oil change and found out that they left the latches off on my air filter! That's 6000 miles of driving with raw air entering the motor. Never trusting dealerships again. Always check for poor workmanship after getting a service done.

We purchased a new car here and cannot say enough good things about our experience. The salesperson (Rhonda Haman) listened to our questions and answered them honestly and thoroughly. She guided us through what is normally a stressful process and was very knowledgeable and forthright with no pressure. The Finance Manager (Jim) offered all the usual coating and warranties but we never felt any pressure to buy or judgement when we rejected them. We will drive down from the LA area again when it is time to buy our next car.

Awful customer service!!! The service department is terrible, technicians don t seem to know what they are doing, managers really don t care about your issue. I left my car a 2016 hybrid ford fusion 2 months ago at the service department in Encinitas to get them check the ABS warning lights as the break was loose, and the steering wheel was hard to use. In other words my car was very unsafe to drive. After few days, they told me it was a system glitch, my car was good to go. Seriously? The fact that my car had exactly the same issue about a year ago, I had spent almost $1,300 to get this ABS thing resolved at the same location, looks like isn t a big deal for the Encinitas associates. Long story short, My car has been there for 3 weeks again, due to the same issue, and they are still saying we don t know what is going on . Do yourself a huge favor, if you want to avoid any headache choose another dealer and even another brand. My husband also has a Mercedes, customer service over there is a heaven close this.

Our experience at Encinitas Ford was fantastic! This was all thanks to the exceptional service provided by Rhonda! Rhonda made this by far the most pleasant vehicle purchasing experience I've ever had and she is just incredibly kind and made us feel like family and not just a customer. Her professionalism and patience were outstanding as we navigated the process of buying our F-150 Lightning, especially after our older truck was stolen. She constantly communicated with us and even helped us navigate insurance, financing, and most importantly, was understanding of our situation and kind the entire time. She and the entire team secured an incredible price and a low rate for us, which was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend purchasing any Ford from this dealership, as the quality of customer service is unmatched. We absolutely love our new truck! A heartfelt thank you to Rhonda and the team at Encinitas Ford!!

Take your car ANYWHERE else. I brought my car in for an oil change, and they said my battery tested low. Which was strange, because it was only a 2 year old battery. Sure enough, the battery then died twice in the next two weeks. So I scheduled a service to have the battery replaced. The day after I drove it off the lot, the check engine light came on for the first time in 6 years of owning the car. I hoped it was a fluke and would fix itself within a few days, but a week later it was still on. Online service appointments were 10 days out, so I called Service to see if they could look and just see if there was a faulty connection or something. I was told the only way a Technician will look at it is if I make an appointment - 10 days from today. AND they will need to keep my car for several days to run diagnostics. Since they almost certainly screwed it up themselves, they'd have to offer a loaner or something right? Nope. Nothing. Thanks guys, stellar customer service over there. No wonder everyone buys foreign.

Allen and Michael answered every question I had and did their best to make sure everything went smooth for our purchase. Would recommend Encinitas Ford to anyone that is buying from a dealer. They are family owned and it's a way better feeling than going to other dealers, in my experience. Thank you all!

Excellent service last week from Wyatt for at home service for a software update on my new mustang. Also good service from Danny who checked me in and handled my in-house recent oil change. Both were prompt professional and courteous. Much appreciated!

I thought buying a used car from a dealership would be a safer bet than private party I was wrong! 3 weeks after diving it off their lot, it just stopped moving as I was driving in a parking lot! I had to sit there and wait & it eventually let me drive. Their solution was to pay out of my own pocket for a tow 100miles from my home back to the dealership (it was the rare version I wanted why I drove so far)! So I drove it & it eventually stopped working all together- less than 2k miles from when I bought it. I paid for it to be towed to local ford dealership to use the manufacturer warranty (since Encinitas Ford said my car wasn't certified pre-owned). It's been 3x taking it to my local ford to repair. Software panel, power steering, brake pedal Part & 3 different sensor lights on dash kept coming on not allowing me to use the different driving modes such as 4x4 and other things (im not mechanical). I called the manager at Encinitas & his solution was to have me drive back down 100mi to sell back the car back but at 5k less than I just paid for it from them in cash, and he'll sell me another car & pay that registration on top. I can do this literally at ANY dealership, this was not fixing the wrong that they sold me a lemon. Which he said its not a lemon since it got fixed eventually & its the best he can do. I don't trust this 2021 Ford Bronco Sport with the safety for my 2 toddlers, recently im a widow & this was my attempt to downsize to save money & my only vehicle to get to work. Im basically screwed thanks to this dealership! Never buy a used car from them, especially if it's not labeled certified pre-owned.

They make it easy to get service done. Free shuttle to get you where you need to be. Good coffee and a decent waiting area. Walking distance to food and coffee shops. I bought a car here in 2020. Fairly standard dealership experience. Had a minor issue with rear camera, but eventually Ford had a recall and replaced it for free.

We had a very good car-buying experience. At first they wouldn't negotiate over email. But when pressed, they came through with an email offer $1725 below MSRP (sticker price), after we asked for only $1500 below MSRP! (Grody Ford in Carlsbad dug in at a way higher price. No budge below that.)Sales Rep: Kevin Sale (one of their top sales people, and he's been there for years, not weeks).A+ IntegrityA+ Explaining the car's electronics, menus, settings (deep and accurate knowledge, patient, clear explanations).A+ Overall communication clarity and demeanor.

Brought my Maverick in as I was told the battery had a recall. When I left it at the service dept. on Monday I had to call to find the status. They said it s not the battery but they are checking the electronics. It s been over five days and they still have no clue, nor respond. Horrible customer service. I intend to inform the GM just how poor and unsympathetic the service department is.

This review is on The Service Department. Horrible Customer Service by the service writers but exceptional service by the Porters. Had to wait 27 minutes seating in my car waiting for someone to come and see me, there were no other cars in front of me. All I was there for was an oil change... when my car was done one of the porters parked by the outside seating area. It sit there for 20 minutes until I decided yo get up and ask the guy in the cashier window if he can help me because the guy that was in charge of my car was on the "phone". The guy hand me my key and said that he will take care of it. When I asked for a receipt or any updates on my car he said that he will email them to me. Poor customer service overall.

Long time customer of their service department and they were excellent up until 2020. I ve continued to try and use them but time and time again they have been unable to get the job done in a timely manner. I tried sticking with them for 4 years of bad service but it s time to make a switch.

Our experience with this dealership was exceptional. They had a used truck that was what we were looking for. We drove up, asked to see it. No big rigamarole to take it for a test drive. Negotiating was straightforward. Perry our sales person was very professional. We recommend based on our experience.

New to Encinitas but will never use this dealership again for service. Multiple phone calls and messages left unresponsive. Was told car would be done that day....it wasn't. Poor communication all around in including that I paid for a tire rotation, but in the notes, they said they didn't do it even though I spent $150 on new lugnuts. So disappointed!

If I could give zero stars I would. Do not use this franchise. Every time you call you are sent to voicemail and they never call back. They provide false information regarding service times - I was told to drop off the car on Monday and it would be returned the next day - they didn't even look at it until Tuesday morning and will not be returning as promised. To get anything done you have to get GM involved. Poorly run and unhelpfulUpdate post 24 hours of review - once I spoke to the GM Scott he personally helped resolve the situation. For clarity, when you book in that does not mean your car will be looked at that day. They put it in a queue so depending on the cars before you they could have it a while. Have asked this be better communicated to customers prior to booking in.

I purchased a 2023 Ford Maverick from Encinitas Ford and had a great experience. I ordered the vehicle in 2022 and Kevin Sale, my sales consultant, frequently contacted me to let me know the status of the order. I picked up my vehicle and the process was so painless and efficient. The vehicle price was MSRP, which I knew when I ordered it, and there were no surprises on pick up day. Kevin had the car ready to go and Daniel Kekuva in Finance took good care of me. I had pre-arranged financing through my bank but Dan was able to get me the same rate through one of their lenders. Awesome experience all around. If you re looking for a Ford vehicle, contact Kevin Sale at Encinitas Ford. Thanks!

Michael Menendez and Kenny were awesome and patient and weren t pushy at all. I know they put customer preferences first and made my car shopping experience first. Although I didn t purchase a car with them and I m a Ford customer through and through this time, I will be sending friends and family their way always. Truly appreciate their understanding

I will never buy a car from you guys. I bought a 2017 ford explorer and im having a lot of problems. I just bought it a year ago. I put to much money for the down payment. And is ridiculous how when we want to buy a car you guys pay a lot of attention to customers but ones they buy it you guys don t care.

This review is of sales: high prices, and dishonest. I wasted my time here. Broncos marked 8K over MSRP. Gave us some weird story about there being a waiting list. Misrepresented about a price check call that was supposedly made to another dealership. A store across town had the same car for 8K less. Don t waste your time here.

Purchased a new Bronco with Jeff L and he was amazing to work with. He gave me all my options and let me decide. Unlike another dealer who wanted to by the Bronco they wanted so I opted for a more expensive one at Encinitas Ford.

A car dealership is really only as good as the people that work there. Our experience with the general manager specifically was memorably positive, and the rest of the staff seemed equally honest and genuine. Don't hesitate to purchase from this dealership if you find the right vehicle.

Start to finish, this crew is top notch! Michelle was prompt and cheerful.Shane was fantastic. Authentic, attentive, accommodating, and even offered to keep an eye on my 3.5 year-old so I could run to the car to get my diaper bag for my 1.5 year-old while my husband was signing papers. Kevin got our paperwork done in no time, was amazingly organized all while said 3.5 and 1.5 yo's were causing havoc, and even sang along to "We're going on a bear hunt". All the way around, the Encinitas Ford team got us in and out quick and with a beautiful car at a price we could afford. Thank you all!

Andy in sales, Lindsay in financing, and John in service far surpassed all expectations that I had from previous buying experiences. They are professional, efficient, and give it to you straight. I've been buying Fords for a long time and this was by far the best dealership I've come across, highly recommended.
