I'm walking across America right now. The owner went beyond expectations to help me out. Also, Fabi who works there was very kind and helpful. When coming through this way again I'll definitely stop here.

Expensive gas, nice store but high prices. Small snow park that is good for toddler up to maybe 10yrs, $25 parking for snow park. Spent about 4hrs there with our 8 yr old, she had a great time.

The Nyack gas station is a fantastic place to stop on your way over Donner Pass. I ve been many times, but only recently took the time to learn about the history of the area. The building in Nyack was previously located at the rest stop a mile or so west of its current location. Interesting history not many people know about. Details are posted in and about the building or you can ask the staff. I ve not visited specifically for winter activities, but a snow park is located at this location for those wanting to sled and play in the snow.

This place is more like a convenience store than a Shell gas station. It has a bit of everything here. The restrooms had three stalls and were clean. There is even semi parking and a Burger King. I do wish they had a better selection of coffe though.

I went in here yesterday to buy snacks, a charging port and a cable to charge my phone with my truck. When I connected my phone, the cable did not work, only the port. I didn t even leave the parking lot, so I returned to get an exchange as the cable was defective and the cashier accused me of stealing the cable and changing it for another one. She said it was clearly not the same cable. Never returning again!

Definition of price gouging during winter storms. Owner is absolutely a horrible person and treat people like there below them. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I plan to file a report with the better business bureau.

I had a great experience with this place! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the entire establishment was spotless. I was especially impressed by how clean the restrooms were. It's refreshing to see such attention to detail and care in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.

This is probably my favorite shell station in the whole world. I love all of the vintage gas items. They have tons of neat wild west items for sale. Everyone stops here on their way to a fun adventure in the woods.

Not much truck parking and in the morning they kick trucks out of one lot to allow for local sledding parking. Which isn't being used yet today. But I had to get up and move asap. They have small selections of sodas and milk products but have big selections of beer. No hot food in the evening. But they are 24 hrs so you can use the restroom and get dyer essentials.

Spacious gas station with 4 pumps. Slightly higher gas prices, though competitive for the region. Also, the convenient location located off the highway can t be beat. Clean bathrooms. Great for larger vehicles, like trucks with trailers.

Absolutely enjoy stopping here. Even with snow on the ground. I had to charge my Tesla at the EVGo charging station they had, and they even had the Tesla adapter. Which, I had to pay $16 and let them hold my ID to use it. The $16 fee that is charged is non refundable. But they saved my @$$. Thanks for being EV friendly.

Don t buy chain here or pay for them to install. They charge outrageous prices to take advantage of the situation. I paid for them to install and they did such a terrible job and ruined my car. Had to stop at the next station which is owned by same person and had them fix it. Now I m stuff having to pay way more to get the damages fixed. Could have all been avoided if they just did their job right installing the chains. They said that the owner would do something about it and I tried to contact them a bunch of times over phone and email and no response.

We spent almost $20 in the store, went back in an hour later to get about $10 worth of merchandise and the cashier asked my husband how many cups worth of ice did you scoop into that? (We have a small round drink cooler thing that they sell for refills at all the major truck stops) He said idk, about 3 maybe? She proceeded to charge us for 3 things of ice. I said but we aren t using your cup and it was half full when I brought it in. Didn t matter. She still charged us so I returned all the merchandise I purchased. If you can t afford ICE CUBES for customers already spending $ in the store, you need new management. That cost them about $30 over some ice cubes. And their bathrooms were gross.

I stopped to grab some things for my kids. They had fizzy blankets marked 2.99 each. I grabbed 2. I get to the register n my total is almost $50. I ask why and the cashier tells me I spent $20 on blankets. I point out they are marked 2.99 each. She says " well that is wrong." Peals off the price tags and finishes the order. She did not ask if I was ok with the price difference. She was unwelcoming and did not offer a bag. Super rude

Caught in a snowstorm and had to buy chains here. Very expensive. Less than an hour later, one chain had fallen off and the other popped my tire. Happened on a Sunday and I was unable to find anyone to come to our rescue (I did not have a spare on me at the time). Ended up being a huge pain and very expensive. They have a no refund/no return policy on chains - now I know why. Avoid getting them here.

Happy employees, great truck stop. I was stuck overnight due to radiator hose .. used as many tools from inside to do a quick hack job in order to make it to Truckee. Good coffee, lots of room, great employees. 5 stars for the place, employees, environment and location.Gas is always expensive here. 1 star for greed. They charge via greed and taking advantage of the location where you might surely need fuel after those climbs to the summit. Charging more simply because someone might 'have' to pay is not a moral business model as far as I'm concerned."The expense to get fuel to the location is more that's why they charge more" - wrong. Just saying.

We always stop here when heading up to Reno. Fun people, don't think I've ever been in there and not left without a smile. Shop has a plethora of amazing road food this place is definitely plus!!

Places like this are a true gift to truck drivers. Plenty of parking. 75 miles outside of Sacramento. Plenty of supplies and a Burger King for the fat boys. Wonderful employees. Thank you Nyack

Needed gas. They have a gas station and snacks here. Not particularly clean. Watch the ice build up between tbe pumps and the building. Its nothing special...just a gas station with a snack selection. We have learnef to avoid the BK here as there are better food options a few miles down the road.

This was a nice refueling stop. The station is spacious and located in a nice setting. The shop inside is large and much nicer looking than your average road shop. There is a Burger King next door.

Great place to stop by on the way to snow, clean and organized. Has electric chargers for electric cars. They have a constantly on air hose on the back if you need to pump up tires (jeeps too)

First thing I saw walking into this place was a list of 10 reasons why handguns are better than women, including you can get a silencer for them. Want some violent misogyny with your gas? Me, I d rather not.

I was rudely greeted entering the the gas station for coming in the "wrong door" the manager put her hands on me and tried to force me to leave and come back through another door. There's no signs and the door was not locked. After refusing to sell me anything because I wouldn't leave and come back through another door, the manager continued to harass my girlfriend in the parking lot. I attempted to apologise to the cashier but she could care less. I walked out the wrong door again giving a thumbs up and telling the manager to have a nice day.

This is the perfect stopping point near D onner Summit, before you head into the Tahoe Forest or Tahoe Basin area. Large gasoline station, Burger King restaurant, plus a general store with beer, wine, hard liquor, snack food, groceries, ice, hot coffee and donuts, popcorn, an ice cream milkshake machine, seasonal gear like snow boots in the winter and bait in the summer. They have everything from vodka to milk, to diapers, to collectible souvenirs from your visit to Gold Rush country.

My first time even entering this shell gas station, Mr. Ramos was clearly having a bad day, he looked at me and ruffled his nose after I asked him "how can I get to the bathroom" because their was a sign that was visibly in the path of the entry to their bathroom which said "closed" so I clearly didn't want to just walk over the sign and happen to fall through the foundation of the building! then after i asked him, he kept cutting me off, and got visibly frustrated and even looked at other customers for acknowledgement, which I thought was quite strange and highly unprofessional. He then had the nerve to say "it took you long enough to figure it out, it's not rocket science" It's one thing to hire a unruly and immature teenager at the gas station for their first job, but it's something totally different about someone 4 times my senior acting immature in a supposedly professional environment. First ,and my last time going to this place. Get real team members and professionals, don't just hire, to hire.#letsguide #honest #nonbias #reviews

They have clean restroom! Have a good variety of Cold drink's to enjoy specially on the day when the temperature is in the triple digits. A Great Rest Stop .

This really is THE place to stop when you are travelling Donner Summit. I have personally made this my go to in summer and our harsh winters for more then 20 years. With the SHELL station that has not closed in 70 years , the much improved BURGER KING and the close proximity to another local mainstay, NYACK TOWING you have all your travelling worries eased. It REALLY IS THAT GOOD. of all the recommendations i have and will make on this area, NYACK SHELL and all of I-80 exit#156 is my favorite. Hands down

Horrible place. It is overpriced and the clerk's are rude and make fun of people. They are probably the rudest people I've encountered in years. I recommend get gas before or after. I will never stop here again. I believe the health Dept. Should be informed about this place as well.
