I saw other reviews. I wanted to add my personal experience with them. My radiator leaked out on I 80 E. In mountains at Friday night. This guy sent me a guy with new radiator and made me run at night. Price? Yes little expensive. But no one else wanted to deal with it. They fixed me, i finished my load and got another job. I lost my weekly profit but it's how trucking works. I'm thankful

Blew a fuel return line on Donner Pass. We called EVERYONE in the area that we could find to get our truck back on the road. We were told it would be 3 days to a week and a half before anyone could get to us. Another trucker suggested this company. We called and he was out there in less than 15 minutes, went above and beyond to get the truck fixed and back on the road for what we think was a total fair coat! I highly recommend this company!!!

The transmission hose broke on our RV causing all the transmission fluid to leak out leaving us stranded on a freeway exit. Thank goodness for Nyack Truck Repair! It was early Sunday morning and he quickly delivered fluid to us for a reasonable delivery fee and reasonable cost for a large amount of fluid. He literally saved the day and gave us the ability to get our RV back on the road.

These guys spent an hour and a half trying to find me out in this last snow storm . unfortunately I had NO idea where we were, but the snow was dumping down and my wife and son were cold and scared. I must have called them 50 times, I thought I was bugging them but the man on the phone assured me it was no bother and that his crew would find me...they did, and put us in a big,warm, clean crew cab truck, hooked up my jalopy and got us safely and quickly to the next town. They waited while we arranged a motel room and carried in our bags. These guys are the bomb. Thank you Nyack Towing

Craig from Nyack assisted one of my drivers with fuel on I-80. He charged accordingly, wouldn't say too over/under priced. Where he went the extra mile was after the fact.He got the truck running like he said he would. Computer problems came up so I called a different company that could assist with that. 3 hours later my driver was still in the same place with no phone reception. Craig took it upon his self to call me hours later to ask why my driver was still there. I told him I couldn't get a hold of him. He promised he would swing by after his road call so I can talk to my driver at no extra cost. He didn't have to do that. That was very nice of him. A little while later he called me to inform me that my driver was no longer there. Do you know how stressful it is to not know where your driver is??? Well Craig went way out of his way to keep me posted.I have no complaints, on the crontrary, I feel like he took care of me and cares about his customers.Thank you Craig!!!Simon Tafoya JrSimon & Simon Trucking Inc

Wow how can I start this off, I broke down 2 miles from Nyack Towing when I broke down with my semi truck and loaded trailer. I was on the side of the interstate when Cal-Trans came by and pushed me with a road grader about 2 miles from the 155 exit where Nyack Towing is located. The people at Cal-Trans was very nice and helpful...Thank you!I called several mobil mechanics in around the area and Nyack Towing was one that I called. The driver was very nice and accompanying, he took us to a hotel 20 miles down the mountain and then returned to look at the truck. It was determined that it needed to go into the shop, but no one would take over the pass because of the snow storm. So Nyack Towing's owner said I needed to get my truck off the interstate per Cal-Trans and he said he would do it. Well he moved it 200 yards and "stored" it at his facilities for 3 days (which was on a dead end street with no fence or gate) and charged me $650 to move it 200 yards and $180 storage per day X 3 days! He blatantly took advantage of my misfortune, and he wanted to charge me $1900 to tow to Reno to a dealership for repairs, oh he did say he would knock off the storage. I hired Milne Towing from Reno they towed for $880 so I saved money going with them even with the added storage fee that I was forced to pay! On top of taking advantage and charging $400 per hour for tow, the owner was very rude and a total a**! What ever you do call around and DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS....BEWARE! Call anyone but them and you'll be in much better hands. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!!Ron

My car was towed by these crooks a distance of 9.5 miles. Per their receipt, it took them 2 1/2 hrs in clear, dry weather to tow an undamaged car at the price of $560.00. They prey upon those in need.Be very careful if you need assistance!

11pm my truck breakdown near there exit where they are located and i called them and tell him my coolant leak and i am only 5 minutes away from you guys.. they said sorry we can't come now . Call us in the morning.. like seriously man? Only 5 minutes away and they are saying they are 24 hours.. totally wrong ..

3 Stars, they were the only ones willing to come out and fix my flat. No tire selection, they bring what they got and that's what you get. Prices are a bit expensive but they are the only ones working through the snow storms.

We are a trucking company based out of Florida. Today, my driver broke on the road. i called this company and they came very quickly. He was out late at night helping us get back on the road. Thank you for the help. I will be using them again if I need to.

Just survived a HUGE snow storm. Had to use Donner pass to deliver cheer to the sacto area. Blew a chain at a place called eagle lakes. I don't know why I had tO have chains,as the road was clear. Anyway, I found a nice guy at the exit in a Nyack towing service truck. He just finished helping a trucker, and now he would help little old me!. He pulled my cable chains off and directed me to the next exit so I could evaluate whether or not I needed to replace them. I tried to pay him butjust said that since his living was made on other peoples misfortune, he liked just helping. Thank you good looking dude with a Mohawk. USE THESE FOLKS!

Very knowledgeable and skilled mechanics. My driver burned brakes, blew two tires and damaged a trailer coming down the mountain in a semi, they spent half a day repairing it and charged me only 3 hours of labor. Very satisfied.

Pidarasy. Burglars charged me 400 for looking 20 minutes at my truck. Two mechanics that have no idea about semi electrics. Liars pretend that ecm was the issue. Had to tow truck in different shop and guy found problem wire in 5 minutes. No tools no knowledge at nyack. Good luck to deal with them

Overpriced and not all that knowledgeable about heavy trucks. Apparently they think they are pre-madonnas of the mountain.If you break down on I-80 near Nyack, CA you'd be better off with G & T Truck Repair or Mickey's Truck Repair. They are both very capable, honest and reasonable.

I wouldn t recommend this place to get your car towed. They refused service because they want to collect the money first which it should be the other way around. First is the service and then payment how does the customer know if they going to get to us or they just going to run away with our money.

The towing business is closed. It has no relationship to Nyack Shell and was further down the road. Nyack Shell is still open 24/7.

I was stuck with a fully loaded trailer and 8 broken studs on the truck. Craig came out fixed the truck, got me on my way and charged a VERY fair price.

i wish i could give this guy no star even 1 star is too much for this jerk, the rudest guy in the world i get it when you brake down in middle of nowhere you expect to get high prices on repairs but this people take it to another level they wont listen if you ask for price they curse at you they only expect you to let them do the job and then give you price after they all done i mean who does that dont i need to know how much its gonna cost me, they guy gets upset when you ask for price and yells hes like let me do work and then you pay, i hope you dont brake down near to them they will literally own you, Stay Away!!!

I would give this ass*%#& zero stars if I could total rip off and rude and after asking for 6 months for a receipt for the $1000 tow bill I finally gave up , DON'T use this company
