These guys are great! I've been coming here to pro lube for about 10 years.Sometimes out of convenience I'll go to other places closer to home. But in comparison for many reasons I always end up disappointed and then come back to pro lube.They're fast, friendly, priced fairly and use high quality products. They also know what your car needs and use the right oils appropriately without question; and I have questioned just to be sure.

Kind of bummed to leave bad review. They are in my neighborhood and I like supporting my neighbors. I can't go back there though now. If you are a mechanic, I'd say go there but you'll need to check their work when you leave. First time, they left the screws off of my air filter canister. Luckily I was putting in spark plugs after that and found the screw on top of the canister. This last time, though, is the final straw. They didn't tighten the oil filter enough. I had a feeling something wasn't right. I was burning oil.... thought it was something else. I saw leakage and thought it was the oil pan. However after 3 months of burning oil and leaks, I finally pinpointed it all to a loose oil filter. I could hand tighten it! That's how loose it was. Need to go get tools to really tighten it. This one small thing has caused me many problems.... probably wrecked my catalytic converter. So sorry to leave this review but the good news is: If you are a mechanic, I'd say go there but you'll need to check their work when you leave.

I was very wary of going to anybody but my usual mechanic but I was stuck in island for a couple of weeks and my regular guy had rushed to replace the transmission in my Tahoe before I left and hadn't had time for the oil change. I never, ever go past 5000 miles, especially in warm weather, so it was nagging on me to get it done. The price was fair and the guys were fast, I told them what I did and didn't want done and that the car takes 8 quarts 0w20. So far so good.

Absolute best guys ever. Super efficient, nice, and great prices. Recently moved to LA and everything is literally double the price of what these guy charge (oil changes and transmission service). I until i came here to visit family to do the services at pro lube.

Fast and right: Very knowledgeable people and very helpful. They figured out the premium oil filter I needed and we discussed various oil options. They recommended to get a specialty oil myself and would only charge me for the changing it. They also flushed my transmission oil. My modified engine is a bit tricky, but they were super patient and helpful and both engine and transmission are purring like a charm.

Fast, reliable, friendly service. They don't try to upsell you.Note: They don't offer smog check here directly (it's next door) nor vacuum your floorboards.

My mechanic wants me to make an appointment and leave my truck for an oil change. Or have it done during another service. Understandable, but, inconvenient and more expensive. At Pro Lube I can drive through, the staff is attentive, polite and the service is thorough and not that expensive. They will blow my filter clean if possible but if it is time to replace it they let me know. They check other things as well. And they put a sticker on my window so I know when to return. I ve been going here for years. My truck is 15 years old.

quick and friendly service, had the right oil filter when none of the other shops nearby did, and was about half the price of the other places I tried. I'll definitely come back here first next time it's time for an oil change!

I have used these guys for years and they mare great! I had a leaking oil plug they fixed for no charge when I first started going there. We've been coming to these guys recently. They are fast and very reasonably priced. For one of our cars, we bring our own synthetic oil and special racing-grade oil filter. They use them without complaint and charage a reduced amount. In and out in 10 minutes or less.

Ok experience. $80 for just over 4 bottles of synthetic motor oil change. Sit in your car while they change your oil and filter. Go early for less crowds.

Best price around and super friendly and professional service! Only $41! Usually we pay $60-70 in Maine for our car. A regular price is only $30. Everyone there is so friendly and nice. You have my business!

They're great! Oil change is done by hand and not by air tools which means no one will strip your drain plug threads. Plus they're super fast, really nice people and you don't even get out of your car. They have they're work station below your car!

I was very impressed by the quality of service and efficiency at Pro Lube. I didn t have to make an appointment, and I was able to sit in my car as the employees spent maybe 10 or 15 minutes changing my oil. On top of that, they were kind enough to swap out my windshield wipers for new ones I hadn t gotten around to installing and clean my windshield of tree debris. I will definitely come back!

Efficient and fair. Nice people. The same crew has been working here since I first came 8 years ago. These guys have been a huge help with my 80s cars, 90 s cars and my newer hybrid. Having a reliable service provider with the fastest service and best price makes life better. No worries -just drive through and drive out.

This place was okay. Went for a tire rotation but they ended up over inflating the tires after the rotation which led to some very bumpy rides for a few days until we figured out that tire pressure was well above what it should ve been. Will not go back

a Berkeley institution! ( actually they may be technically in oakland or emeryville) If you need your oil changed, fast and inexpensively, this is the place. Unlike jiffy lube that will sell you a bunch of things that don't help you, these guys just change your oil, change the filter and get you on the road in like 5-10 min for a very reasonable priceService: Oil change

This is the place to go if you want an efficient and economical oil change. The place is clean, which is the hallmark of a good shop. Even the guys doing the work are clean because they are focused and don't spill stuff everywhere. They are quiet, work as a team and are also friendly. I'm glad I found this place. The other reviewers are right. Go here for your oil change and be happy.

These guys are awesome. I go out of my way to use them. The thing I like best is, they let me supply my own filter (I use Bosch)... which is WAY better than the generic stuff most services use. The even give me a few bucks off for bringing my own filter. They are so quick its crazy and I have never hit a line there. They always take me immediately.

Fast, friendly and they will do some extras for a price. They changed a turn signal light bulb for me and also installed a wiper blade for a couple dollars while they did the oil and filter change nice place. Good prices

Fast service and good price. Was $55 to change our oil with a canister filter. Another place tried to charge us $70. Also helped us check our tire pressure and filled up our tires.
