Mazda Elk Grove team are very helpful in us getting our dream Mazda car! Eric is very instrumental and patient in working with us and getting us the car that we want at the end of the day :D Also kudos to Maja(finance) for explaining to us thoroughly about GAP insurance, which we already forgot because of too much excitement. We are very satisfied and highly recommend this branch and will surely come back here if we need another car. We love our new Mazda!

Elk Grove Mazda already won me over with the quality of their sales transaction. I just had a great experience with my first service appointment. Besides a full report, you receive a brief video of the service. Maritza was my service rep: stellar service and a very quick turn around.

I always have a great experience at the service department! They are fully transparent about what needs to be done to your car and why. I really like their video walk-arounds where they show you the tire tread life, break life, and if something is wrong, exactly what it is. They are also efficient at getting you in and out, even when they're busy. I have never had a problem with this dealership from the day I bought the car. Always the same great service, no complaints!

To tell you the truth, this was the last dealership I went to, just because it was the furthest from where I started but I could tell you it was worth the walk.I have gone through cars and cars and some really helped me understood the car that I wanted but some was just there for the sake of it, you know.But from Mazda, Mr. Nick Ishihara, really did gave the time to consider the specs that I wanted and the budget I wanted to use for the car alone, and true enough he found me one with a unique color and all.We took it out for a test drive and with that he went through all these amazing safety measures Mazda has incorporated with the vehicle.The paperwork was also a breeze with the help of both Mr. Nick and Mr. Taylor Schacher. They have been so patient as I tried to understand bits of what I was signing because it was my first time getting my own car.Well, if you guys are looking for a warm way of having your car needs accommodated, Mazda Elk Grove is the place to go.

Service: First free oil change service.Very bad experience. 2 days after service low oil level warning appeared on dashboard and this was due to oil leakage. I will never recommend purchasing a vehicle from a dealership that has unprofessional service engineers.

Great people . Great Service. I went in with a bad attitude yesterday and the people at Mazda were able to do what had to be done when things were not going right for "me". Apologies to Billy, Clayton and the nice woman who's name I apologize for not knowing. She was the most patient of all ....My dog appreciated the hospitality as well. Again sorry for being a bad customer.

I dropped my Mazda off at 8:00 am for its first service appointment. My car was done by 11:00 and I received a video, showing me everything they checked and serviced. Very cool! Thank you Mazda for your excellent service and professionalism!

Another great service. Always take my 2020 CX-5 here for the service is top notch, get a video recording of the inspection, and never get pushed into something that I don't need. Plus I keep my extended warranty in good standing as well.

The service of brake pads & rotors replacement this time was completed ahead of anticipated schedule. It was quicker than the typical oil changes I ve had in the past.

So far my experience with this Service Center has been to schedule and re-schedule a service related to a recently purchased vehicle. All the re-schedules have been on me essentially but every time Christina (Brown) has been the absolute greatest and most pleasant person I have ever encountered. I cannot wait to see how fantastic the experience is!Update 6/3 service appt did not disappoint. I was promptly checked in and helped by Danny. He offered a rental vehicle and kept me up to speed on ETA for my vehicle. Pleasant experience. Still 10/10!

I arrived at my scheduled appointment time, Christ came out to greet me and listened to my concerns and assured me everything was okay. He was professional, direct and knowledgeable. He had me out in an hour, lest time than I was initially told. Everyone, within the service department was awesome. Thank you all for a great experience.Ms. Graves

The service itself was good; however, I wasn t sure I understood why I was being referred to go have my oil change at Jiffy Lube. When I called to make an appointment, your recording stated that it was not necessary for a lube and oil so I decided to do a walk in. When I got there my service advisor told me that you are all booked up and it will take 2-3 hours, and that I could go to Jiffy Lube and get it done in an hour. After I was pulling out, I noticed the Quick Lube next, and I didn t know if that was what he was referring me to. First of all, I didn t understand why the insistent referral to get it done somewhere else. Secondly, the service advisor wasn t very friendly. He finally cracked a smile when he came back from recording my mileage.Services: Tire rotations, Oil change

Cars are cars, and they re never going to be perfect. But you can count that Billy s team (especially Chris Howard and Danny Nguyen) at Mazda of Elk Grove Service will go above and beyond to provide great customer service and handle any issues. Their amenities and attention to detail are unlike many other dealerships. Friendly staff, drinks and snack bar, rental car option while servicing, clean and elegant facilities-you d think you are at a European make car dealership! After service is completed, you get a video summary of the vehicle s services or inspection, and multiple thank you messages from Billy! Mazda of Elk Grove, CA has a good service department. Skilled and attentive to detail, Mazda owners are assured of quality care. One thing I would recommend changing: the drafty and noisy waiting room where there is an endless loop of a dumb game show on TV.Some customers prefer quiet or bring a book. Distractions aee uncomfortable. Also there used to be a snack vending machine, now gone. In the Quick Lube Dept there is a machine but some of the snacks are stale, some chocolate bars have turned to powder.Services: Tires, Vehicle safety inspection, Oil change

Always appreciate our Mazda Elk Grove Service Center team! I had an appointment scheduled to bring my car in and was supported by Chris. Chris is awesome, very supportive, patient, informative, isn't pushy about service needing to be done all at once. He outlined what was due to be serviced, reviewed my history of services with me. When we realized my service was going to be several hours he asked me if I wanted a complimentary rental car so my daughter and I could go home for the day (I was not in the know about this customer service - that was an awesome surprise!). When the inspection was completed we connected and he went over what should be done now and what could wait for a future service. He also offered for me to save a trip back that evening and come get my car the following morning; this was very helpful since I don't live down the street. While maintenance isn't always the most fun (cha-ching), I do appreciate when the service techs are patient and helpful. The only reason this isn't a 5-star is because I do miss when Mazda used to do the complimentary wash and vacuum after a service. on dec 7th at approximately 0930 AM I was driving my 2023 CX-50 when all of sudden malfunction warnings started lighting up the dash - I called Elk Grove Mazda service department and was able to drop off the vehicle in the next day - after diagnosis - Danny the service rep recommended leaving the vehicle over night to see if the cold weather had anything to due with it -and I agreed - everything checked out the next day - I picked up my cx-50 and was happily on my way - the performance of the service department went above and beyond -kudos to Elk Grove Mazda

I'm from Roseville, CA. And yes there is a Mazda dealership in Roseville. In which their diagnostic service rate is much higher than Mazda of Elk Grove. And their service staff in Elk Grove is so much better than Roseville. They treat you with respect not with an attitude. It's worth my time to drive out to Elk Grove to have my Mazda serviced. I have been using their service since I purchased my car from the dealer in 2013. #1 - I trust them to tell me the truth of the maintenance and repairs that are needed! #2 - Their pricing is surprisingly good for a dealer auto shop, and they take care of their clients! They have always been incredibly nice. They show authentic care for your concerns and budget. Their service and work has always been top-notch! I took my car into the service dept for some routine maintenance. I was greeted immediately and was helped by the manager, Billy. He took the time to educate me about my car, which services were needed and why.He allowed me to decide what services I wanted to have done that day. Billy and his service advisor, Clayton, made me feel welcome and valued. They addressed all my concerns and had my car ready before the promised time. The experience of buying my Mazda 3 hatchback which I commute to work daily in was easy. However, my experience with the service department has been frustrating. The average tech there is a 20 yr old kid out of school so not much experience. I appreciate the videos they send when completing the service. I appreciate the customer service reps who are nice. I brought my car up twice for services that needed to be redone. As soon as I replaced my rear brakes in January of 2023, I began to hear a sound like hardware in the rear was hitting the caliper 5 out of 10 times at a stop. I took it to firestone and they said I was missing shims/skims on the brakes. Basically, these prevent the pad from hitting up against the calipers. I live in Natomas so the drive to Elk Grove is a bit of a ways. When I bring it to the dealership in Feb 2023 to get it checked out they say everything was fine. Mind you Brandon, the same tech who performed the job was the same one inspecting it no higher level reviewer. They were not able to reproduce the sound, the female service rep did drive with me to try and hear the sound and I appreciate that. They swore any sound was coming from the front and it's a know issue with Mazdas and there is no fix. I definitely know it was the rear and happened after having brakes replaced. Mind you I paid $900 for brakes and rotors. So here I am at a diff shop and will be taking video of missing hardware and attempt to have them fix it. I would never buy a Mazda again. Battery failed after 1 yr, valve Cover gasket failed at 66k. I never replaced a valve cover gasket in any previous cars at this low of mileage and before they said it was the gasket cover, they said it was the actual valve cover. They did comp the repair but I had to again smell oil and complain, which was broken by the tech who tourqued it to hard cracking it, thus another trip back to dealer. My car has a service car plan, is serviced and taken care of. This whole experience has been frustrating.

Seemed to be lots of staff just standing around doing nothing. The lobby was full of staff, not customers. I saw my car parked outside after the service was completed - I Stood there for 10 minutes wondering when I would be told that my car was ready. Eventually I had to approach the cashier and ask when my car would be ready. She had to ask the service manager multiple times for the paperwork. After another 10 min the service manager was finally ready to talk to me and he gave me the hard sell on additional work on my car. Overall, the experience was very unpleasant.Service: Oil change

i got the resistall treatment done to my car. they gave me a loaner vehicle while the service was getting done, which was super helpful! they returned the car with the interior completely cleaned and detailed. everyone was so helpful and friendly! thankyou mazda of elk grove !

Not sure why they would test the washer fluid and windshield wipers then not clean up after themselves. I leave my headlights ON not sure why they would turn them off when they turn off automatically. This is the reason I gave them 2 stars. Great customer service from all the service team! But didn't like the sales side, as when i looked for a new car. Didn't see many prices on window and felt more that I was trying to be sold and have to go inside and talk to a sales person to get prices. I found this service dept to be very professional, courteous, helpful and thorough. They diagnosed and fixed the problem with my CX5 in a very time efficient manner as they knew I was from out of town and had to wait for the repair. First time owning a Mazda, and I must say from the purchase of my 2020 CX5 to the servicing of my car I have been so happy about my purchase. Not only to they wash my vehicle, but I also get a video of the work performed and suggestions that need to be completed on the next visit! This takes trust of the servicing of your vehicle to a whole new level! Amazing job Mazda!
