My husband has been taking our cars here for a few years now. We used to take our cars to a few bigger commercial smog places and it felt like we were just another number to them. I came in today to smog my daughters car & was impressed with the establishment. The owner Tony is friendly, professional, personable & got us in and out fast. The waiting area is clean & ac was cold on a hot day. The price is reasonable/fair and the business is owned by a small business owner. This is absolutely the best place to get your car smogged. I wish I found this place earlier! If you are looking for a place to smog your car, I highly recommend Laguna Smog! You will not be disappointed!Service: Smog certification

This is a STAR Smog station, for anyone who may be looking! I had to get that done today (10/19/2023) so I called to check and IT IS! For a very reasonable price too! Nice clean & tidy waiting room, quick service. Will definitely be back someday!

I arrived at AAA to pay registration and was informed that I needed a smog. They referred me to Smog n Go but I couldn't find it and ended up here. I AM SO GLAD I got lost. LOL. They were friendly, professional, It was A LOT cheaper, and I was in and out in 20 minutes.

The first time i've been here for smog check today, didn't make any appoitment, just walked in and didn't have to wait long. There was only one man who took care of paper works and all checking process but he made things quick and clear. The place is located in an empty area so everything from parking to finishing checking is hassle-free. Defintely will come back again when needed.

Came again to get another car smogged 2/26/24There were 2 techs today which was great because they were busy which is good for them. I only had to wait 30 mins and car was done. It was 2006 so keep in mind anything 2000 and newer usually a little quicker but if you have a 99 or older vehicle those take longer as they need to check more things.Previous reviewI use to go to another smog down the street but there was a smog tech that always seemed like he was in a bad mood and seemed put out that you brought a car in which just didnt help with the stress of smog as it is.Found laguna smog and have been coming here over 6 years and bring my BMW and Mercedes . Great place to get your smog done. The owner is friendly and gets you in and out quickly.It can get busy since it's a 1 person shop so just be prepared as some days and time of the day can get busy.

I usually don't put out negative reviews, the guy running Laguna smog, the little rude man just about ruined my whole day with his unprofessional behavior and negative attitude. Luckily when I called about needing an appointment, they had an immediate opening to fit me in, and completed the testing getting me on my way within 30 minutes. Great service.

Always super quick, easy process, in and out in usually 10 - 15 minutes. Price comparable to other shops, in fact a little less. Been going here for many years and will continue. Nice clean shop and nice people.

Excellent service! I have been going here for years. The price is the best I could find and even though there were 2 cars in front of me I was out in about 20 minutes. I don't even look anywhere else.

This place is the only place that I go to for slogs. Have 4 cars. Fast. Usually no line. Get slogged immediately. Also give advice on how to pass the test.

Super quick and helpful. I tested my 2001 Honda Accord here, and it didn't pass because I needed to drive it a bit more for the computer to reset. I came back, and they verified it was ready for the re-test, and re-tested it for free. Super reasonable timing and price. I have been going there for a very long time and taking all of my vehicles there. Every person that I've dealt with has been nice polite and informative. They're on the ball and get you in and out really fast. It is kind of tucked away on the side but after I found this place years ago I have not gone to any other place. Keep up the good work guys

The owner is really friendly. He gives tips on how to resolve failed smog. His tips really worked. I've been coming here for some time now. Prices are lower at some other places but can't beat the friendliness. The location is also is a nice quiet corner. You could walk to a Starbucks that's 5 min walk while you wait.

Second time I came here, because the first time was a good experience. But now I won't go back found a place named General Smog the owner is like smog ninja in and out 12 mins. This place I waited the guy never showed up to open business on time so I left and found General Smog. In and out highly recommend

Great place for a smog check, they re star-certified as well! I needed a smog check for my DMV registration renewal. The guy at the front desk did all the work. Fast service, I was in and out in 20 mins. Located near convenient business. I walked over to Starbuck and Subway and by the time I got back, I was good to go!They are STAR Certified.

Went in for a smog today with 4 kids! The guy was great, he seemed to be working alone. Did the front desk and the work. He was great. Great customer service... And FAST!!!! 5 stars! WevWe been here twice and itsia good place to go.

Quick 15 minute smog, in and out in no time. The waiting room is somewhat sparse....but who cares when you just want to get in and out.Edit. Took one of my cars in for another visit and it failed the test. Thankfully they were able to provide me the code and stated that I could bring it back for a free retest. Confirmed the code with my scanner and got it fixed quick. One thing I forgot to mention on my prior review is that they charged 10 dollars for the certificate.

Went here based upon the 2 prev. reviews and that they were a Star type. Parked my car in front of the service bays, didn't see anyone there, so went into the building where I was greeted with a gruff long-beareded fellow who, first thing, said, "Move your car, you're blocking my bays". No preamble just that rude remark. I said I would but wanted to discuss the service. Presented my coupon and he told me that wasn't theirs. I thought a coupon was a coupon but saw then that they are company specific. Asked what they charged and was told $39.95 which was $8 more than my coupon. This plus the rude behavior convinced me rather easily to take my business elsewhere. If this man's attitude towards potential new customers reflects the owner's then they don't know much about business.
