As a woman it can be a scary experience taking your car in to be serviced. The fear is that the mechanic will knowingly overcharge you for services that you do not need. When I take my car to Jiffy Lube,Klagge Court in Elk Grove I never have this concern. They have always been honest and service my car quickly for a reasonable price. They also refer me to a reputable service center that is also affordable if my car needs additional services that Jiffy Lube does not provide. I appreciate their honesty, their prices, and their ability to get the job done.

Jiffy Lube was very friendly and definitely looked out for me in terms of what my car needed and what they recommended. I do wish. However they would ve asked me if I had any coupons before ringing me up because I did have 25% off.

I had my Subaru serviced this morning. It took about 10min before anyone came out to me. I was asked to move to another bay waiting line and waited some more.They did not fill the washer fluid.They did not check the engine filter.They did not tell me that the coolant was low and needed attention. As I was told the system always says that no matter how low the coolant is. We would have told you if it needed to be filled. The level of that coolant was at the Low line. The tube that goes into the coolant reservoir was pulled out.Sloppy service. Poor service. Did not complete the service I paid for.

The service was fast and efficient! I was in and out in less than a hour. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Jiffy Lube.

They did a good job with my oil change. I d say going early on a Saturday is a mistake. That s the same idea we all have and then by 10-11am the rush dies down. I was there for about 90-100 minutes. See their online coupon for synthetic oil change.

I was quoted a 45-50 minute wait and was asked if that was OK, I agreed. However, it took nearly 2 and a half hours and I was met with attitude when I asked how much longer it would take as I had an appt. When it was finally done I got in my car to leave and they hadn't reset the "maintenance due" notification on my dash so I had to go back which took another 15 minutes. While I was waiting for the original service a technician came in and talked to literally every single customer in the waiting room and told them that their air filters (engine and cabin) needed to be changed along with a variety of other services their vehicles needed. I understand this is a business, and as such wants to make money, but they told me I also needed new filters and mine were virtually white as we'd changed them less than a month ago. The rudeness of their staff, the obvious up-selling, and the ridiculous wait time (anything but Jiffy) would rule this business out for me. There are far too many options in our area for this kind of service.Service: Oil change

I have yet to have a positive experience at this Juffy Lube location. Countless times I have visited here with my vehicles I have never had a smooth time. Today I was greeted upon arrival and I felt this is the day I will finally be happy with their service. 45 minutes later I have yet to be updated and talked to. I had to get out of my truck and find the nearest representative to ask what s the eta to drive my truck into the Bay. It took them 45 minutes to tell me they are short staffed? They should have been prepared to tell their customers that they are running behind. However, after all the eye contact I made with each employee they failed to tell me they are short staffed, no apologies, and no communication. I will NEVER come to this jiffy lube location again. They also had the nerve to offer cabin air filters that were not in stock. How does that make sense? Then they filled my tires and claimed they applied 37 pounds of torque??! Sheesh. That was a waste of two hours and 100 dollars. If I can give zero stars I would in a heart beat.Service: Oil change

I have been coming to the same Jidfy Lube for 17 years. It appears to have changed owners several times and I feel like the service has gone down. Not sure if I will return again. I don t feel like the personal service was very good. The new person checking me in was almost afraid to be doing the job. When asked what my options were for the oil change I asked what the different choices were and the attendant just recommended the higher priced service.It wasn t the regular Jifdy Line experienceService: Oil change

I've been coming to jiffy lube for well over a decade and had the worst experience, after leaving the bank I drove here to get my truck serviced so I put my bank withdrawal in my arm rest for safe keeping and when they finished I paid the service man and drove off. I got to the light and realized that over 400 dollars was missing, I turned around and spoke to the Mngr and he reviewed the cameras and determined who stole the money. Mngr returned most of the money and comped my service, he was apologetic however I felt violated that the technician stole items out of my vehicle, I'm contemplating legal action!

I've been going to this location for years as it is near my house. Yes, they get busy and that is understandable. However, for the last year or so when I pull up, it takes a long time for someone to check me in, even when the store isn't busy. Today I pulled in for an oil change and there were only two cars in the three bays and plenty of workers. I was the only one waiting and I waited. And waited. And waited. After 15 minutes of getting blank stares from the EIGHT workers inside, I finally left. I called to talk to the manager, but was told he was "busy" even though I could see him from the street chatting with two other workers. Something has gone terribly wrong with this location. I'm going to cut my losses now and find a different place to go.Service: Oil change

Most horribleb experience in my adult life. I took in my 1993 Toyota 4Runner for the for its yearly oil change. Every thing was amazing with the service advisor as hr wrote my quote ticket up we laughing and jokinh around as I always do at any establishment, bringing happiness to the masses. 5 min later u was summoned outside because my car would not start, I had a big smile on my face they said 3 of us tried starting it and it would not turn over. I was told to see if I can start it? I said cool and jumped in turned the key and it fired right up. I looked at the 3 employees and said why u messing with me and walked back in the lounging area. 1 min after entering the lounge the manager Jeff came in amd told me they will not work on my car cause it wont start. I asked him if he was joking? He said we have liabel issues, I said what issues? He said liabel, I then said liability issues? He said yeah. I let me get this straight u are refusing me service? He then said yes and while I was still talking turned his back to me and walked away. AT THIS POINT WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

I was greeted within 3 minutes by a friendly well groomed attendant. He asked what service I was wanting. Then he led me into the service office and offered me water. He said they would look over car and be right back. 10 minutes later I was called to the desk and we went over the list of needs. I was shown my air filter so I could see its condition. I approved service recommended. 15 minutes late I was led to my car and shown dip stick and other comments. They had also vacumented my car and washed my windows. As a women seeking car work I am not always treated with respect. Not so at this location. They were so nice. This is my third visit here and I will never go to another Jiffy Lube. In n out quickly. Good customer service and a Starbucks next door Update: pretty sure this is the best JL in Sac. Always friendly and helpful. Didn't have a brake tech today but the manager (owner?) was super nice and gave me some tips on how to check if the rotors are warped. He also gave me the brake pad wear numbers which was very helpful. And everything is sent via email. Thanks This should be obvious but in case it isn't...if you show up and there's a line and you can't wait then come back another time or expect to wait about an hour (duh:) I get here around 8am on weekdays. If it's not busy (1-4 cars) it takes about 30 minutes.Cheers Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

I felt like the cost was higher then expected.I was sold a cabin air filter. I thought that they should have cleaned it instead of replacing it. The cost was high. don't come here, these people have no integrity and they will scam you out of your money. I went in for an oil change and DARREN was assisting me. His first mistake was not asking me what type of oil I would like to use as he just decided for himself he would choose the signature blend (most likely to get as much money out of me as possible without my consent) then I asked him, before any work was even started, if he could switch it to the full synthetic blend as I had a $30 coupon for that specific oil type. He gave me attitude and angrily agreed to switch the oil. He had given me the first estimate for the signature blend and the cost of labor which was $90 for the oil and $30 for the labor. Then after he did the second estimate for the FULL SYNTHETIC OIL (which mind you is a cheaper oil alternative to the signature blend) the estimate he gave me for the cheaper oil suddenly went up to $110 for the oil and $40 for the labor. He even asked me to give him back the first estimate paper "to throw it away" so I would not notice the upcharge. I then confronted him about why the CHEAPER oil would be MORE expensive and why would the labor cost go up $10 if it's the exact same work being done just a different oil. He was caught off guard and could not give me an answer for why it was more expensive and said he didn't know why the prices changed the way they did even though they're the ones that enter the amounts. He thought that because I am a young woman I would not speak up for myself and I know he felt stupid and ashamed when I called him out on his BS.Service: Oil change

Staff are mostly new and don t know what to do. The Manager is not friendly. This place was pretty efficient and friendly before, I am so sad to see that it s going downhill completely. Will not come back again.

I waited two hours on a Friday morning to be told they couldn't get the guard off of my car to get to where they needed to for an oil change. They told a man waiting with me in the lobby the same thing twenty minutes before they told me that. They also told me that they checked the fluids and air in my tires, which the mechanic who actually provided a service refuted, showing me that the fluids and tire pressure were low. One of the workers was vaping in the bay as I waited to be checked in. This place has changed so much. I really don't trust them enough for basic services. Silver lining is that I found a mechanic I trust now at a garage that is functional and honest.

I was greeted professionally by a gal that recommended I come first thing in the morning. I arrived 10 minutes till opening time, and was out of there before 8 o'clock. I've used this location for my other vehicles and this was the first time that I used the service of rotating my tires. I have to say that at $25 it's a steal to get your tires rotated and not have to schedule a time with another place. Thank you for the cleanly environment and the hospitality!Service: Tires
