My husband & I were looking for a mechanic to fix my car & come across their site. My husband called & spoke with the owner Joe regarding what is going on with my car. They were fully booked but Joe told my husband if we can bring my car by Thursday before they close, they will accommodate my car to work on Friday. I am pleased with Joes ability and knowledge answering my questions. I will definitely recommend this place because of the honest customer service plus a reasonable price!

Wow! Amazing service. My Honda was making a grinding noise and I came across their page on google. I called and spoke with Joe and he was very helpful and informative. I brought in my Honda within the same hour to get it serviced. I ended needing rear brakes and rotators. All was completed same day along with my oil change. When I came to pick up my Honda Joe greeted me by my name and was very sincere. I have worked with numerous mechanics in the past, but I will definitely be coming here going forward!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Vehicle Inspection, Brakes, Auto maintenance, Auto brake replacement, Oil change

This is a small family run business. I see the same people here so we can get to know one another. They are friendly and efficient. The price is very reasonable. My daughter takes her car to one of those oil change places and it cost her more than Expert Auto cost.

Joe and his crew do amazing work! I ve been coming here regularly for several years. They are super fair, take the time to explain repairs, always flexible to schedule with. I can count on Expert Auto to provide honest, efficient service on both of my Honda s.

I moved to Elk Grove area from Southern California and had an excellent and honest mechanic there; I was looking for the same and Expert Automotive is just the right place. Joe is friendly, thorough, knowledgeable, patient and non-pushy. I have been coming here for a year and just started bringing a second car in for service. They definitely know their Toyotas and Hondas and can reach the dealer when needed. They will also tell you if they cannot perform a repair.Overall, I highly recommend this place.

Honesty. Integrity. Very affordable with high quality work. I've been taking my Honda vehicles here for over a decade. They are always upfront and honest with their estimates and repairs. I love how they tell me what repairs are for comfort or aesthetics or safety related. Quality is also paramount and it shows. I've never had to take one of my vehicles back because something wasn't done right the first time. They are picky about the parts they use, genuine factory parts without the dealer markup.They used to take care of only Honda and Acura. But now they also do Toyota and Lexus.Overall great place to take your vehicle. You can trust them. They will provide you peace of mind.

Love them. They are honest and present great customer service. I have been going to them for about 7 years now. First with my Honda and now with my Toyota. Can't ask for better customer service. There aren't many shops today with great morals and ethics but Expert Automotive has it all. Dad & Son know what a true business is about!! They offer it all. They are definitely a hidden little gem!!!!

This shop has been great at keeping my old Honda and Toyota in tip top shape. They take their time to explain things to you and have really great advice. When I bring my vehicles into this shop I feel they are honest and helpful. I rely on my vehicles and my vehicles rely on Expert Automotive.

I have been taking my cars to Expert Automotive for six years and trust them completely. Sometimes the dealership will mention something is wrong (taken in for recall) that has nothing to do with the recall. I take into Expert and two times they have said there wasn't a problem that the mechanic at the dealership mentioned. I have recommended Expert Automotive to my neighbors and they now are regular customers (since you started servicing Toyota's). Will buy either Honda's or Toyota's in the future because we have mechanics we trust.

I ONLY COME EXPERT AUTOMOTIVE. These are my go to guys. I trust these guys more than I trust the dealer. These guys know me by name. After the first couple times I went to them , I knew I didn't even need any more second opinions on price or the problem. They get the job done professionally and very clean. The shop is organized and clean and they never try to up-sell you on any parts or service. When it was time for a new car, they even told me that I didn't need a new one because they were trying to save me money. But when I decided to upgrade my car , I stuck with Honda because I couldn't imagine going to another shop. These guys are my true peace of mind !

Expert Automotive saved me several hundred dollars on my 2004 Corolla s a/c repair, compared to the dealer s estimate. And they re really nice guys too! Joe explained exactly what was going to be done, didn t charge me to confirm the dealer s diagnosis, and they used genuine parts. I ll be back for all of my car s maintenance needs!!

Simply put, I don't take my Honda CRV anywhere else for maintenance or repair. They are honest and reasonably priced, and know what they are doing. Sometimes you may have to wait to get in so plan ahead if possible.

Started taking my Acura there for service earlier this year and have been pleased with every visit. They know what they are doing and charge a fair price for the work. I have had both routine preventive maintenance, as well as repairs done there this past year. Each time, things were done right the first time and I did not have to go back to have anything readdressed. Have also used their trip check service to be sure my car, which now has 250,000 miles on it, is ready for a long road trip. I have no hesitancy recommending them. The only reason I don't give them the fifth star is that their waiting area is not the most comfortable spot to hang-out while you wait for your oil to be changed, but is certainly functional.

I have been taking my Hondas here since I was 16 years old! My whole family now takes there cars here as well. They are the most honest, genuine and personable mechanic shop I've ever come accross. I made the mistake of taking my car elsewhere because I had a coupon and the shope told me I needed other things done and not just an oil change, I declined and took my car back to expert automotive where Mike and Steve told me those items were not necessary. I have not taken my car anywhere else since then! I love these guys and trust them completely!!!

I've taken my beat up old Honda here a couple times now. Mike and Steve took good care of me both times. Fast service, fair prices, and my Civic purrs like a kitten. Highly recommend!

Learned about Expert Automotive ~2003 through a friend who's meticulous about his cars. Went there through 2014 until my 98 Civic was in a minor fender bender that, due to the age of the car, totalled it.I had a few too many mediocre to bad experiences at the nearby Honda dealership's service department, so this was my first foray into an independent mechanic. I had always heard how overpriced dealership service departments are, but wow!I love that Expert Auto specializes in Honda/Acura and Toyota/Lexus and has factory trained techs. Most of all, they are trustworthy! Never did they recommend replacing items before they needed to be. And, if they saw something was still ok for now but would probably need replacing the next time, they would give me a heads up.My car was always as clean and scuff/ding free as when I dropped it off. Something that has not always been true with my replacement Subaru.Honest service, factory trained techs, better prices. For me it's about paying the honest business, not the one that I cannot quite trust to ALWAYS do right by me. To me, that is worth giving up the free car wash and shuttle ride that the dealership service departments provide.I only wish Expert also serviced Subaru, so I could take the Outback that replaced my Civic to Expert Automotive! Maybe someday, if Subaru's following keeps growing as it has and it makes business sense for Expert.

Expert Automotive does an outstanding job every time I bring my old Honda Accord for maintenance and repairs. Father and son, Mike and Joe are down to earth, very friendly and honest on their opinions and recommendations they give to their customers including me. Big time I truly recommend Expert Automotive repairs to my relatives and friends.

Mike and Joe of Expert Auto treat me and my vehicle as if I were family. Discovered them over 3 years ago and wouldn't let anyone else touch my 2004 Honda Accord (over 275,000 miles on it) for repairs and maintenance. I totally trust them because they give me straight information--don't try to oversell me--and perform good work at fair prices. Only drawback is they work only on Honda or Toyota products. That means if my Honda ever wears out, I'll have to buy either a Honda or a Toyota. Are they really that good, that I d buy a car brand just so they can service it? Yes!

These guys are the best. After 175k on my son's Accord (and it being used as a surfboard recently) it needed a few repairs and Expert Auto saved it!They're upfront, stand up guys. I just wish they worked on cars other than Honda's...or maybe I should buy ALL Honda's?Thank you for your hard work guys!

It's dang rare to associated the words trust and auto repair together; in my mind Expert Automotive is exactly that case. I have been bringing our 2006 Acura to Expert Automotive for the past 3 or 4 years and I have always received GREAT service from Mike and Joe. Scheduling a visit is as easy as sending an email and getting a speedy response. You leave always understanding the work that was done and why it was needed.I trust Expert Automotive so much that I brought our car in today just to have it looked over before my daughter takes it to college. I knew that they would honestly look it over and let me know if anything was amiss. Nothing was and after a inexpensive oil change the car is ready for the trip.Thanks Joe and Mike--You run a great shop!-Rob

I've been taking our Hondas to Expert Auto since 2001 if I recall correctly. I trust Mike and Joe (back then it was Mike and Steve) to take care of my cars just as they would take care of their own cars. They have helped us out with simple work like an oil change, all the way to replacing the transmission in my Accord and I think I just hit 100,000 miles on that transmission, coincidentally!One of the things they did for us on maybe our second time taking a car in was to listen to a noise that we had noticed, and then determine that it was an issue Honda had a recall for. Rather than do the repair and charge us for it they directed is to the dealer and told us to have the work handled via the recall. Talk about honesty! My cars are overdue for service but it's on my radar to get at least one of the cars in soon. The other was just in an accident and I'm waiting to hear what the repairs will cost and then decide on if it's time to upgrade to something bigger.

They were referred to me by a neighbor and we have loved from the 1st visit, which was 5 years ago. The staff there is nice, efficient, knowledgeable and most importantly, not too pushy. Love that they are small business and they take pride in their work. I have referred 3 people and they have all like Expert Automotive also. Keep up the good work

My 2004 Honda Pilot was making a lot of noise. Upon the advice of the Yoakams, I brought my car in for repair. Joe was so nice and said the people who installed the brakes didn't secure all the parts. Expert Automative technicians repaired it for $27.50. They did not try to sell me more than my car needed. Love the honesty!
