Chau, the owner, is honest, the prices are fair and they do good work. A little out of the way for me since I'm in Alhambra, but worth it for the trustworthy service.

Dishonest and a rip off. I brought my Lexus in because of a cylinder misfiring, and upfront the owner told me that it was going to cost $2,200 because of a cylinder head and $250 to do an inspection. Tony's Auto fixed it for about $300 - because of a spark plug and a coil. Would never come back here.Service: Transmission replacementService: Transmission replacement

Great repair shop.. Honest and quality work. Mr Chow and his mechanics know what their doing... they have been my Mechanics for years and will continue to use them for years to come. Easy to get your oil changed in and out. They work on most cars and have about 3 bays to fix your problems.

Chau is so cool, he is very honest and straight forward. I have referred him to three people and they say the same. He has worked on three of my cars and he is trust worthy. Since I live far, my only issue is they need an answering machine. So don t go their he will get too busy for my cars, lol. But if you need a trustworthy mechanic then I can share. :)

This has been my go to mechanic for the past decade. He's honest and does a great job explaining things to you. Prices are also reasonable.

Chau, is a very hard working owner. Me and my family has been going here for quite some time. He's pretty busy so call ahead. There lots of bs mechanics, Chau and Silverstar auto are the respectible ones out there..

I have been coming to Silver Star Auto for over 5 years now. Not only is the owner , Chau, an excellent mechanic, he is also honest. I refuse to go to any other auto shop. I am a single mom of a 2 year old. I need a car. I trust no one else to fix my car besides Silver Star. Thank you for your great service! You re amazing.

Very detailed and honest mechanics they actually check your car throughout after oil changes unlike other shops that say they inspect your car and don't this place actually spotted the nail in my tire without telling them I had a nail in tire also notice my front struts where worn out they really do a good job and good pricing aswell

My wife drove with my daughter to LA, where my daughter has taken a new job. My daughter's car developed issue which made it unsafe to drive. From Pennsylvania, I searched google for a repair shop near their hotel and found this place with good reviews. I called and explained the situation and Chau told me to have her bring the car over; I greatly appreciated his willingness to look at the car right away. They did a good job diagnosing and repairing the car and charged a very reasonable price. But even more important to me and my wife was the way Chau treated her. Chau couldn't have been nicer. She would have been satisfied just sitting and waiting for the car, but Chau checked with her often. He let her know everything they were doing and just kept engaging her. I just can't express how grateful And fortunate I felt finding this place.

I come to Chau for everything, new tires, alternator repairs, oil changes, brake repairs. Great guy, speedy work! I highly recommend him for everything auto.

I took my car here to replace my brakes and rotors, bought a new rotor to be replaced but noticed a week later that he simply put back my old rotors in a different location . Back to the same problem I had to change my brakes again. Very disappointed with this place!!

They get the job done but unfortunately when I went to go get my breaks done he gave me cheapest of the cheap products & charge me 3x as much as usual I believe because I went by myself (no men) I feel token advantage of thanks for the embarrassing squeaky breaks I ve been dealing with !

I just called this guy is very very rude and could not give me a straight answer. Good luck and call for yourself to experience the utter rudeness. If I could give him less than one star I would. Not a good way to get business. Based on what I experienced I highly doubt these reviews.

This was my family s shop to go been going here for many year because he was trustworthy but the last time I took my car my engine mess up and he made me pay for it when they did the timing belt so it was the shops responsibility to replace my engine for free it s not my fault for not doing their job right and after they broke other parts like the map sensor and the idle control too and he told me to buy it and he will replace it why do I have to keep buying parts that where broken by them I use to love this shop now I know that this shop is the same as the rest of the shops that like to just steal money for no reason they don t even do their job right I m unsatisfied because they didn t do a professional job broke a lot of stuff besides ruining my engine and I had to buy the engine and the parts they broke wouldn t recommend to anyone never going back
