I've been a customer of Discount Tire Centers repair shop for years, and I can confidently say that they consistently provide top-notch service. Vick, the manager, is truly exceptional at what he does. His honesty, professionalism, and commitment to providing the best prices around have made my experience with Discount Tire Centers consistently great, whether for routine maintenance or unexpected repairs .As someone who manages a number of vehicles for work, it's crucial for me to have a repair shop that I can rely on. Vick goes above and beyond to ensure that all of my vehicles receive exceptional care. His honesty and consistent work has made me a loyal customer. I cannot recommend the team here enough.

Custom wheel guys, this is the spot! I have tried all the other "Company"s that say they are the best, but they always leave small marks on my wheels.Vic at Discount Tires in El Monte has always been the man! Most importantly, however he mounts and dismounts tires, there is never a mark left. Fast service! Great pricing! Honest service! This is really the only place I trust. I've been going here for years now. I have been seeing more and more custom wheel customers here with the same experience as myself.Don't be fooled by big talk from these other shops. I know Discount Tire Centers are a chain, but the one in El Monte, run by Vic is really a notch above any non-chain shop with the most expensive tire machines.Highly recommended, as Discount Tires in El Monte has proven over the years they sit above the rest. Ask for Vic!

We bought new tires last year and this year had a transmission fluid exchange and coolant exchange. They even checked an engine light message. Very helpful and professional plus they accept the Synchrony Auto Care card.

I was in El Monte for the day for work and I got a nail in my tire on the job site. I didn t want to risk driving 55+ miles back home with it, so I took my car to Discount Tire Centers and they were able to get me back up an running in no time. If I had the time, I would have took them up on additional repairs, but I really appreciated their help and level of service. Highly recommended.

4/7/2024----I continue to bring my money and my vehicle here because VIC and GABRIEL and their entire team are Humans who take Pride in Their Work. Not only have they never let me astray.... They've helped me when I needed it. But I've also become find of the fact that They are all honest people. Having said that. You might feel like you could go bargain and get a better price. You might be able to.... But I'm the grand scheme of things..... It's best to trust an honest estimate rather than saving $20. I will vouch for this business above and beyond and GOOGLE MAPS ranking. This is my hometown. This is my desired business for not just tires.... But Loyalty to Personal Work Ethic/Proper Pride!!!!!I've been here so many times for tires, oil changes, mechanical problems. Even to fix my automatic window. They always tell you exactly what's wrong with your car, or even what's not wrong with it. I even went in with a check engine light on. They ran the test on the car and said it was the gas cap. Instead of telling me the only way to find out was to do extensive, expensive tests. I won't take our cars any where else.

Went to get tires here as well as an alignment plus a new axle for my car! Was given a good deal. The customer service of the owners could be a bit better but none the less I m kinda satisfied it s been about 3 week though and my car might have to go back cause it makes a noise at take off I ve never heard and may have lost some power to!

This is my favorite mechanic. Vic does a incredible job of making me feel comfortable and I always trust him with my cars. Great customer service goes a long way. He's mastered it. Fair and honest pricing. It gets no better ! I highly recommend him.

Absolutely appalled by their service and business. I would NEVER, EVER recommend this tire shop to anyone unless you want to spend nearly $6,000 to fix their mistakes. If you are a woman, walk, no RUN, FAR, FAR AWAY. I am writing this review for my twin sister, who was devastated, treated unfairly, and utterly taken advantage by Vic and his shop.In May 2022, my sister brought our 2016 Toyota Prius after the tire had popped while driving on the highway. A friend recommended this tire shop since he and Vic were good friends. Even though only two of the tires and rims needed replacing, they convinced us that the Toyota OEM 17 inch touring rims and tires were no good and that we would save money by replacing all 4 tires and 17 inch rims with one of the brands they had in the shop already. My sister decided to go with their recommendation because she needed the car to get to work and wanted to resolve the issue right away. Before leaving my sister had chosen the rims we wanted and went with a tire they had, but when she picked up the car it was completely different set of rims and tires. They did not even call to even ask if this change was okay. Instead, when she came to pick up the car they said there was nothing they could do. Fine. Not only did she spend nearly $1800, but they upcharged her on "lifetime alignment." No credit was given on the two perfectly good tires and OEM rims that were undamaged.Fast forward to this month -- February 2023: after the heavy rains, there was a pothole that formed right before the Santa Anita exit on the 210 E freeway that my sister and unfortunately, several other drivers hit causing our tires to blow out. Again, only one tire needed replacing, however, Vic said their shop, this time, did not have any 17 inch rims. Again Vic did not recommend the Toyota OEM tires and wheels. Rather, they recommended getting 18 inch wheels instead. So my sister had to buy 4 completely brand new rims and 4 new tires. THIS WAS COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY BUT THEY TOLD HER THIS WAS HER ONLY CHOICE (they charge for keeping your car in their shop). Spent $1800 AGAIN. No credits on the 3 perfectly good tire and rims they had put on a few months ago. Not even less than 3 days later, the car was completely out of alignment. Took it back again, and they said it was not an "alignment issue" even though the car was pulling to the right. Our mechanic even confirmed it was an alignment issue. Took it back again for the THIRD TIME to them today, and they said the alignment was fine, and that it was a steering wheel issue. That is complete and utter NONSENSE.We were completely fed up at this point and took our car to Toyota. Not only did Toyota say that putting 18 inch wheels and tires on a Prius was not advisable and would cause alignment issues but they also confirmed that if we were to get new tires and rims it would be advisable to keep the same rim size that the car originally came with and even better, to stay with the OEM rims in order to retain factory MPG specs and sensors . Ended up spending another $4000 and some change at Toyota to have them put OEM rims and tires and a realignment today and take off the terrible tires and rims that Vic and their team had placed.We learned a very hard lesson. Almost $8k later and several headaches, crossing our fingers that that is the last of the car troubles. Having a full time job and not having a safe driving car has been difficult. We aren't rich. We only went to this tire shop because our friend had a good experience with this shop, when in fact we should've had the car towed to Toyota and only spend $1500 for new tires and rims. Overall, I would NEVER, EVER recommend this shop. Their alignment is poor quality and their business etiquette even worse. If you care about your car, then do not come here. You may think you are "saving" money but in the end you will have to pay thousands dollars more to fix their mistakes.

I was skeptical at first, "online promotion". Came in talked to Vic, nice guy helped me out gave me a deal on set of 4 tires, alignment and brakes. Compare to other tire shops prices, I am Happy!

I purchased 2 new tires for my Buick Grand National here. Had some steering issues. Vick recommended all the right solutions to get me up & running smooth & fast. Their prices & service is great. I m very pleased & I highly recommend them!

This place was very clean the guys that did our tires they were amazing they had a clean waiting area they didn't take a long time I definitely would recommend going there we had a great price for all four tires and I am very happy with their work

I would NOT recommend this location!I usually go to the Pasadena Center and had a tire emergency so I stopped at El Monte. The staff in front were not willing to help me out, even though I brought my tires from DCT. He gave customers a rude attitude. Please save your time and money and go to a different location.

Horrible costumer service. The receptionist asks questions then interrupts you when you try and answer. He has zero customer service skills. Poor dude.

This is my go to mechanic where I take my car to get fixed. They are honest, they listen and do good work. Their prices a good and fair. You will not be disappointed with their service.

I wish I can rate this with no stars. Worst customer experience I had. The 2 bald a-holes that work in the front are rude and disrespectful. Because of them I will never come here or recommend anyone to go there unless you want the same experience as I did. These guys do not know how to work with people. Avoid this place. You will get better service somewhere else.

I got a cheap Lionhart tire from them and it was overpriced. This place has decent customer service, but you can get a better deal at Americas Tire. Americas Tire is called Discount Tire outside of California, they have stellar customer service and better deals.

Vic, who I ordered my Pirelli's from was very easy to work with he gave me a great deal and did one better than another tire competitor. I will return to do my brakes on my 2015 Lacrosse. Thanks

These guys know their stuff. I bring all of my cars, my wife's car and any random family member/ friend's car here that I don't have the time to work on here. They're knowledgeable and customer service is tops!

I came here to get a set kinergy gt hankook tires for Prius .too expensive the two guys in the front think that everyone that comes in is a dumbass and that's not a way to treat costumers.life time tire rotation and balance good but even when you bring the car which I had to bring three different timesto get it done they "inspect" your car with a m ean faceto see what else they can charge.finaly never coming back because all the above and also I hate liars.this place should be called Liar Discount Tire.peace and love
