These guys are a ripoff. The charged me $200 bucks to inspect my shocks only for them to tell me that the bushings were installed poorly and they didn t have the tools to fix it. Apparently, they don t have a 19mm impact socket or other metric wrenches. After researching online, I found my shocks were improperly installed and had to be replaced. I wound up doing all the work myself for only the cost of a 3-ton floor jack($120 @ harbor freight) and the cost of shocks.The El Dorado hills tax is real, these guys are more than happy to take your money and not provide any real service.

They basically broke my gas tank. Vince tried to blame it on me, said I did it when I got gas, and I did not get gas between visits. Said they could replace it for 1800.00 Took it to the reputable dealer, and they confirmed it was damaged when the first attempt at repair was made. Vince was extremely rude and seemed determined to cover up the mistake. Be careful if you go there!

I would highly recommend this business for anyone who needs their car worked on. Ramon, the owner, is an honest, caring person who will not steer you wrong. He and his staff fixed my car quickly and accurately. I will now go to this place of business for all my car care and would recommend you too.

I'm not sure I'll be a future customer based on how that 3 minutes went! I asked if they could just tell me what the code is saying as another places code reader wasnt working. The guy at the front said its $200 for JUST a Diagnostic to tell you what's wrong with the vehicle. BEFORE REPARES!! He said that they cut that price in half if you do the repairs with them! I simply just wanted to know what the code was for my check engine light. He said "it's illegal to tell someone the code and not repair what's wrong with the car".Guy came off way to strong towards me, bet it's because I'm a woman. Don't come here if you want to be talked down to.!!!

I took my Volvo here to get the brakes done. The brakes seem fine but they left grease smeared all over the steering wheel, seats, door and other places on the white leather interior. When I pointed this out to the guy who runs the place, he offered to clean it up himself with a can of glass cleaner. I told him I didn't want him spraying glass cleaner on my leather seats and he started to get an attitude about the whole thing. The worst part is this is the second time this has happened at this location. He did offer me a free oil change next time, but there isn't going to be a next time. It's honestly not worth it if they're going to destroy the interior of my car.

I have taken our cars here for services for the past 6 years. I am always impressed with the quality of work, friendly service and fair prices. They ve helped us with a few major services but mostly just oil changes or a quick peek under the hood when my car was making a strange noise. On several occasions they charged me less than their original quote. I highly recommend this team for your car care needs!

This is my go to place for my car service. They are super honest and won t rip you off. Apart from regular service I have done break pad and disk replacement and they quoted much more less than the dealer and did a great job.

I had to take a spontaneous trip from SD to EDH because my mom had a bad accident. On the last 20 miles of the trip my car started making a weird sound. I called this place to take a look at it the next day because the last thing i wanted was for my car to break down on the way back to SD. They had the car for 3 days, and could not find anything wrong with it. They did not gauge me or fabricate a problem. They charged me a very reasonable diagnosis fee was all. I was VERY grateful for their honesty. I made it back home to SD safely and the car did not make that sound again. I would recommend them because they really cared, and took my concern seriously but did not take advantage of my situation. Very Professional, thank you Vince!!!

Was in the area and had some auto related issues. Was in the process of fixing them on my own when Dave at El Dorado Hills Car Care offered great assistance and advice. He genuinely was looking out for my best interest. Would definitely bring my car there in the future

I have had many great experiences with the people at EDH car care. Generally, I go there for oil changes but I ve also had them fix breaks and tune up the A/C. The pricing seems fair and I usually feel very appreciated as a customer. That s why I keep coming back.

Great experience all the way around. Friendly and helpful folks at the front desk and a clearly expert mechanic staff. Prices were very reasonable - much less than what I would have paid at the dealership. I highly recommend them.

The staff here are always so kind and exceptionally helpful. Yesterday, I had gotten the wrong fuses from O Reilly auto parts (because they sold me the wrong ones), and I stopped by 76 Auto Care once I saw they were wrong. They gave me the fuses I needed, for free, and were so nice about it. They will definitely be getting more of our business in the future. Good people!!

They've always done a great job with the minor maintenance we've needed. And, oddly enough, when I ask about other things they often say, "Naw, you don't need that yet. Maybe another year or two." It's like they value customer service and loyalty over just profits. Weird.

Overpriced. $109 to plug and read codes. He said it took minutes. I also heard them quote $800 for front brakes to another customer. It s sad that they choose to over charge

This people just wants to charge you for what they think is the problem on your car, hopping to fix the problem if not they just give you a BS and charge you more mony for something else till they finally fix it, or they just say you can go somewhere else
