On the night of Oct 12th, I was in my first ever accident (& that buck hit me!) Luckily, it was nothing too bad... or so I thought. At first, I was told my comprehensive insurance would cover the damages/ repairs once an evaluation was made (4 wks from the car being dropped at the shop). After another wk and a half, there was an updated evaluation. My insurance deemed the 2006 Ford escape was still repairable. However, I was informed the shop considered the car "irreparable" b/c the parts were discontinued, therefore not worth the cost to fix the damage and was now considered "a total loss". While I understand things happen beyond our control, I was frustrated by the lack of communication directly with me about the repair status and overall delays with little clarity. Having just picked up the rest of my belongings from within the car, I'm sad but a little bit glad I won't get Lola back. The floor and carpets were soggy wet and smelled foul - it felt like a general lack of respect for my property after everything else. Now that it's been 6 wks of back and forth false hope for this car to be fixed, I honestly don't know what to do. I'm feeling new levels of anxiety seeing wildlife near the road, and unhappy with how the past 6 wks have crawled by.

My experience with this business was incredibly disappointing. I made the unfortunate choice of bringing my truck in for repair following an accident that was not my fault, only to end up losing it as a total loss. The appraiser in charge of my truck, Igor, severely undervalued my vehicle, basing his assessment solely on its age and neglecting to consider its actual condition. To make matters worse, the cost of parts was inflated to two or three times their actual price. As a result, the at fault drivers insurance company deemed it a total loss. If you take exceptional care of your vehicle but it's not fresh off the showroom floor, be prepared for your vehicle to receive no higher rating than 'average' at this establishment. My advice: approach with caution.

Great service every time! They are very thorough in estimates. Great and seamless interface with insurance. And they went out of their way to help buff some scratches out of my new Subaru. Thank you for the great service and detailed work you do. And wanted to mention Igor for his attention to detail and always being super responsive and communicative.

Honest reviewI had a hit and run and made a claim with my insurance. This was the first place recommended by my insurance. Getting the estimate was very fast, the work was done very well and I can t tell there was ever any damage or work done. My car looks great and they did the work very fast. Only issue I ran into was my car was damaged at the repair site by an unattended vehicle s door swinging open and denting my fender. The shop was honest with me and did all the repair work to make it look like it never happened. So it really wasn t an issue as the shop took ownership of the incident and made all the necessary repairs. The Estimator, Igor was very honest and open about all the work done and repairs made. The complementary detail was very nice as well. I ll recommend everyone to this shop and I ll definitely be a return customer if I need work again. 5 outta 5!

I was hit while parked. The insurance company recommended Caliber Collision on Rossmore one El Dorado Hills. It was very close to my home. The service staff was incredible. I was kept up to date on where my car was in the repair process without too many annoying text messages. I appreciated being kept informed. The car was done ahead of the estimated repair time. The repairs were excellent. I could not recommend them higher.Service: Body & Trim

Igor and his team exceeded my expectations! Trusting someone with my brand new Escalade was not easy, but Igor's expertise and exceptional service helped build a strong sense of trust and communication. He went above and beyond to assist with coordinating repairs, including handling communication with Geico. I am grateful for Igor's presence throughout the entire vehicle repair process.

Caliber performed major body and frame damage to my vehicle after an accident. I was thoroughly impressed with their customer service and the repair work was excellent. The repairs took a significant amount of time due to the extent of the damage - but Caliber kept me informed every step of the way and was responsive when inquiries were made. They kept both insurance and me informed and there were no surprises. I had my first accident back in June. While dealing with my insurance was a pain to do deal with, the team at Caliber Collision made feel at ease! The ladies at the reception desk were always polite and willing to help when I called. The man of the hour, Igor was hands down the star of my entire experience! He was very knowledgeable and was super helpful every time I called for a question. I would HIGHLY recommend this location! The teams level of professionalism is outstanding! The job was super small and straight forward. Brandon quoted us an astronomic amount and when the insurance got involved the prices dropped like flies. Never the less the whole experience was bad as the communication with Brandon was nearly zero. The guy never bother to properly communicate the status and he messed up with the repairs which make the car to stay 2 more weeks in the shop. Every time when we called we had to wait over 15 mins to get an update and most of the time was from someone else than Brandon. The work performed was okish but not above par.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Wow! The best service I've had from any provider in a long time; without question since Covid. The scheduling, process with insurance, communication throughout, payment and overall experience was flawless. (Except, I brought my car in a day early; the person managing the front smiled, found my appt, and said it's ok, we will take care of you.) The case manager, neatly dressed shook my hand, told me the process and then delivered on it). The car was done early, but I knew well in advance and that was great. Actual work- so far, so good! Looks like new. Cannot say enough about this experience.Services: Electrical, Body & Trim

This was my first time ever dealing with a collision so I don't have another experience to reference. The whole process at Caliber couldnt have been eaiser. The front office staff are very helpfull. There are plenty of delays with vendors and parts shipping right now and they were transparent about timing and delays right up front. Igor handled my repair and communicated frequently about the process and timing. There is a convenient enterprise rental shop right next door. They handled all communication with my insurance I did nothing. They were very accommodating about picking up and dropping off. Car is washed and vacuumed when picking up. The repair and paint job look fantastic. Highly recommend!

I gave your customer service a one because there wasn't a lower rating.All repairs were not complete and I will return with one vehicle to have finished.The other the service manager refused to admit and was completely unaware of what work was done on the vehicles repaired, denying work was reported. When I returned to the office and showed her where it was written she had no response other to say I'll have them check that. The work was done with reluctance and an attitude.Before picking up both vehicles I asked the front desk if they would be washed before I pick them up. I was informed we always wash the cars before they are picked up. One vehicle had bird dropping on the hood and windshield the other had a layer of dirt all over. I wasn't expecting a detail job, but at least wash the vehicle before delivering it to the customer and if not don't tell them different when asked about it.I will never return nor recommend your company if they continue to prove they have better service.The service manager was very rude and has no customer service skills.Service: Body & Trim

I was rear ended while parked. Damage was to rear bumper of my Lexus 300h. Had to remove and replace rear bumper. Caliber Collision on Rossmore Lane in El Dorado Hills did an excellent job repairing my car! Also received regular updates as to status through completion. Recommend them highly! Great service. Text message communication throughout the repair process. Repairs were done in a timely manner (faster than appointments are even available at other places). My car was delivered to my front door since I didn't have a way back to the shop AND vacuumed and washed.I will use them again.Service: Body & Trim

Wonderful customer service! Brought my truck in after getting rear ended on the freeway (yikes) but thankfully all I needed was a new bumper and minor body damage repair. Service was quick and my truck looked better than before. 10/10 would recommend!

I made a terrible mistake in choosing this shop to repair my Lexus SUV without knowing their business practices that put top priority on maximum profit over customer satisfaction. This place is a great place to take your car. They fixed our rear bumper beautifully, and for a very reasonable price. They completed the work ahead of the original date they promised too. But also, they just decide to clear up the foggy headlights and clean the inside of the car as well. Little things like that show how much they value customers. Definitely would come back hear and recommend it to everyone.
