Sun Auto Repair is a great auto mechanic shop in El Cajon. If you are in need of a good, honest mechanic who doesn't gouge you, this IS THE PLACE. I have been taking my cars here for a long time now. Hui and the rest of the mechanics here are super cool guys. Who respect and treat your car with care. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these guys to anybody.

I will not take my car anywhere else. These guys are super honest and don't recommend any unnecessary repairs. I've been taking all of my cars to Sun, and I highly recommend. Huy is the man!!

If I could give them 10 stars I would.I have been using them for well over 10 years and still use them since I moved to Julian.Went in for a headlight bulb replacement and they only charged me $40. Honda said it would be $91. Huey saw me drive up, jumped in my vehicle pulled it up and had it done in 10 minutes. Doesn't get any better then that. This shop is AWESOME!

Huey is awesome! Literally dropped my Audi off for some suspension work and I swear he had it on the lift within 20 min and back to me in another 30min! Very quick, reliable and the most honest mechanic I ve ever met since I ve moved to California! I had my Thermostat changed and they work on your car right away and it's got to be the very Best Auto Repair shop that I've ever been to. I couldn't even believe how inexpensive the service was for my 2005 VW Jetta in changing the Thermostat

Best customers service ever I would say if need your car suv or truck worked on go to them they give u best price ever and work with and do a great job when come to working on your car I been dealing with them for about 10 to 13 years never disappointed in job they do on my car please enenbody go to them if want great customers service best auto shop in town of ElCajon thank u Sun auto repair for always doing a great job on my car and keeping it running good on the road.

Popular mechanic in the area. Unfortunately my repairs are transmission and as good as they are they do not do transmissions. I gave them a 3 star because they did not offer any suggestions of where I could have the work done.
